Bjarnarins sinar, bjargsins rætur,

For anyone wondering what the story of the video is about:
Skalmold tell stories in each cd. This one is about Hilmar Baldursson, the guy you see. The girl is his sister, Brynhildur, and the other creatures he meets are Fenrir (the wolf), Midgardsormmur (a huge worm hiding under the sea... you may know him as Jormungandr, the World Serpent) and Hel (the goddess of the underworld, the woman half beautiful and half skeleton), all of them children of Loki (that you see wearing a mask). He is on a quest given him from Odin to stop them from bringing chaos to the world. Unfortunately for him, it wasn't actually Odin but Loki in disguise, that planned all to trick Hilmar into believing he was getting the favor of the Gods, instead it was to get his sister for himself and tear her apart (that's why she is holding her own intestines), torturing her for eternity since both Hilmar and Brynhildur are immortals and cannot die.
Fun fact: the woman playing Hel in this video is as well the singer that voices the Goddess in the song "Hel" from the same album.
But yeah, these guys are amazing. Living in Iceland from 3 years now, seen them live and met them personally... They are wonderful people, really. Not only they rock live, but a band that finishes the concert saying "we'll be at the bar, see you all there!" it's something to really look forward to.
+LuciferSynd Sounds like everyone going to EVE FanFest this year will be having even more fun than usual. The two bands playing at Harpa (Skalmold and Permaband) will definitely be at the bar, then. I'll definitely have to go someday.
+Desolo SubHumus Usually they are extremely kind to fans and are always ready to meet them all. I don't know the amount of people that go to EVE FanFest, but if the crowd is huge there may be some security reasons for them not to go to the bar, even if I find it extremely unlikely... Everything in Iceland is extremely peaceful and quiet, people don't go fan-boys-nuts trying to tear apart the members of a band XD Hell, where I live, Husavik, is the hometown of most of the band members and just the other day I met Björgvin (the lead singer) here in the supermarket... And nobody was bothering him because, well... Everyone knows him since before he became the lead singer of Skalmold XD
LuciferSynd Sounds pretty sweet. (My only experience with being in Iceland is a 12-hour layover in which we were not allowed to leave the airport, and while I did want to see the countryside, it was still awfully pleasant in the airport.)
FanFest is an annual thing and thousands from all over the world attend. Generally, the crowd gets unruly after drinking too much and the bands will be playing before the bar opens, so that should keep security issues to a minimum. If not CCP Guard can start singing 'Killing is just a means of communication' again, and even the most unruly will be distracted enough to drop the argument. Internet spaceships are serious business, and songs about life in them always come first.
So, it should definitely go well on the 22nd.

I went Iceland in 2016, what a awesome experience, I saw a poster of you guys and I checked it out as three giant Icelandic dudes came past and said "good band, go and listen to them".
I went immediately to my room after a coffee and instantly fell in love, then for my remaining time in the country I had your music blasting out my headphones.
Stay metal, best served cold.
