Our Hotpoint washing machine gave up last night with a thud and the pump drive smashed in two. We can't complain we have had it since 2006 with only motor brushes replaced once. Just ordered one of these New washing machines watched your video and thank you for your help. You were pleased with the design and that persuaded us to purchase one it arrives 6th March. Let's hope we get 14 years out of this one we'll see.
Just brought a hotpoint 10kg invertermotor (not sure if that is the make lol) in black and its a lovely machine but I couldn't figure out the steam hygiene. So glad I watched your video as you broke it down nicely. Thank you.
@Igors Kurockins if it's the 1044c the feet are small and tight at first and you may need to (I had to) lift that corner of the machine to turn the foot
Who else misses the old washers put your stuff on blast then stop the thing mid cycle ,Then the door will open .Today You have to be a brinks mat robber to open the door mid cycle .
I am sure you will get on fine with this. Good luck getting Currys to deliver upstairs as quite a few of their delivery guys refuse to go upstairs especially with a washer.
Wow just got one of these for £35 pounds was shocked when I seen how new it is. I Just put hotpoint 7kg washer in google search expecting to have to search via images for the model number so i could read the instructions and it was on every site currys ao and many more for around £290 😂 what a bargain doesn't even look like it's been used its so clean not even any trace of washing powder I'm so chuffed works mint .Great video better than reading instructions lol. But still don't no what draw to use for a 30 min wash lol.
Very useful - all I wanted to know was where the filter was hidden!! Thank you. (We had an Error F 05 which was caused by all things, a dog poo bag that someone had left in their trouser pockets...)
Got this machine as a replacement during the Hotpoint fire safety exchange scheme. I think it's much better looking than the model it was replacing but all the cotton cycles are over 3 hours and I think that's ridiculous, the rapid option isn't available on cotton or eco-cotton cycle, and on the white program it caps the temp at 40c. This machine doesn't have a steam generator, to perform a steam cycle it drains after the wash, fills the bottom of the drum, and then heats that water, a prewash option would've been much better. The spin cycle is pretty good and leaves clothes dry and the 45min full load uses lots of water rinsing the clothes well. For the price its a decent machine but it would definitely not be my first choice
I normally use the mixed fabric setting with steam hygiene... but damn all the cycles are long.. I know there is quick washes but don’t come out as good...
Hia I need help with my Hotpoint machine. When it comes to the risning/drying, it get super powerful and moves the cabinet. Though I have changed surface it is sitting on with different items/material.
If the machine is level and on a solid surface it shouldn't move when the machine is spinning. I know it sounds strange but are all of the transit bolts out of the back of the machine. If at least one is still in then the machine can move when spinning.
I got this washing machine a few days ago. The review say it is quiet but when it spins it is very loud, moves and the vibration is crazy. Please help.
You need to check to make sure the transit bolts have been removed correctly. If they are still in then the machine will move around and can vibrate a lot. Do not use until the machine until you have checked this.
Would love to buy another hotpoint machine had my last hotpoint 10 years. Since then I have bought other brands would love another hotpoint but frightened it will catch fire don't trust hotpoint anymore any advice will these newer machines catch fire.
The chance of an appliance catching fire is very very slim. We still sell a lot of hotpoint appliances and haven't had any issues with any catching fire.
Really depends on what you are washing and how dirty it is. most of the time a 30 or 40 degree wash should be ok. Clearly for whites you would go hotter to the 90 degree programmes
How do you exclude the spin to just drain the clothes please? There are no instructions in the booklet explaining how to do it, but it mentions that the Rinse can be excluded......
If the clothes that you are washing are quite new then yes I would recommend the colour catchers, but normally if they have been washed several times then you should be ok without.
First thing is make sure you have taken the transit bolts out. If you haven't then it will not spin correctly and will damage the machine. Stop using the machine until you have checked they are all out.
If it is a new machine, just check to make sure that you have removed the transit bolts from the machinein the back. If not it can damage it and it will not be covered under any warranty
Hi, not sure why this would be, first of all check it is in the correct compartment, and also the pressure of the water is high enough. Sometimes if the water pressure is too low, it may not take all the detergent
Hi thanks for reply we've had engineer out and it's a fault on programme 10 apparently so waiting on new parts it's a common fault with the make thanks any way
Una disculpa se bloqueó la lavadora y no puedo debkoquearlo la verdad esque no entiendo ingle. Una disculpa i espero y me puedan apoyar es la misma Marka

I feel it take long to wash and I don't understand the h2o, meaning. Please explain. It is doing my heading.
Very useful - all I wanted to know was where the filter was hidden!! Thank you. (We had an Error F 05 which was caused by all things, a dog poo bag that someone had left in their trouser pockets...)

Nice video
very interesting. Thanks
Very informative nd helpful. Can wash programme be reduced by some mins?
Hi. sometimes am wanting a quick 1600 spin how do I that without starting the machine up again.
How do you get it off demo mode
Thank you However you never mentioned the dryer part ?
This is a washer only it doesn't have a dryer section
Which slot do i put washing powder in,at a 45,min wash. Also can i add bleach for my whites.please repley.just bought one yesterday not used it.
Hi you should only ever have bleach in cold water.
Hot water creates a reaction that can be hazardous to breathe in.
How do I take off the demo on the washing machine
Hia

You alright matie
There’s dor nots at the back I had the same problem if you haven’t figure it out yet you have to remove them mate
Have a nice one

all machines are loud when spinning
It's so quiet when washing. I think that's why the spin sounds extra loud in contrast.to the quiet wash
Cool

I keep my dispenser draw clean but sometimes the fabric conditioner runs through into the wash, can you tell me why it keeps happening?
What's the right temperature to use for the effective washing
Really depends on what you are washing and how dirty it is. most of the time a 30 or 40 degree wash should be ok. Clearly for whites you would go hotter to the 90 degree programmes
@@lords-electrical is it the temperature that determines how clean your clothes will be washed
Am sometimes forced to hand wash my clothes first before putting them into the machine
How to reset factory settings..quick help me
Thanks, I would have boiled my Merino walking gear to oblivion!
Iv bought this and cannot get it started keeps saying h20 and lock icon wont go of display nightnare
How do you exclude the spin to just drain the clothes please? There are no instructions in the booklet explaining how to do it, but it mentions that the Rinse can be excluded......
With the spin button
Does this have adjustable feet underneath
The front feet can adjust a little bit, but just really to a floor that may be uneven a little
do you have use colour catchers to use mixed load setting
If the clothes that you are washing are quite new then yes I would recommend the colour catchers, but normally if they have been washed several times then you should be ok without.
How much
Can t get it of ‘DEMO’😫
What temperature is off
When the temperature is switched off then it will just wash in the temperature of the water that arrives in to the machine.
I got this and it spinning out off control and banging in sid brand new and hot point not available at the minute as well
First thing is make sure you have taken the transit bolts out. If you haven't then it will not spin correctly and will damage the machine. Stop using the machine until you have checked they are all out.
Transit bolts still there idiot
Hi is there any chance you know hove to take it of demo mode.
Many thanks
How sorry
I cleaned the filter and now the panel won't go back in , how can I solve it ? It keep coming off? Please help.
Normally you locate the lugs at the bottom and push the top part up to relocate it.
@@lords-electrical ok thank you for replying, just fixed it back 👍🏻
Hotpoint is another issue. He's hot!! :)
Washing machine is vibring. Maybe I didn't move something from the bottom
If it is a new machine, just check to make sure that you have removed the transit bolts from the machinein the back. If not it can damage it and it will not be covered under any warranty
I did remove them but still vibring?
Does the rapid decrease the spin speed?
It shouldn't do normally
@@lords-electrical aha i guess it was just one model
When I use 45min wash the comfort won't go through why is this please
Hi, not sure why this would be, first of all check it is in the correct compartment, and also the pressure of the water is high enough. Sometimes if the water pressure is too low, it may not take all the detergent

Deberá sacar la máquina para ver si la obstrucción está en la tubería de desagüe de la máquina o en la tubería por la que sale la máquina.
Can I do a soak cycle
And if so haw
Don't buy Hotpoint...
Not the same quality as those made in North Wales before....
SOO USELESS
