i wonder if you could upgrade to the OE brembo calipers and rotors that were available.. used may not be ludicrous expense. They are much larger.. presumably would stop a bit harder too, included drilled rotors as well. :)
Hey low tech, I recently bought a 2001 xjr for a low prices and have been working on it for about 1 month now on the brakes. I got the rear brakes down no problem but I have bought three different pairs of rotors for the front and non have fit do u think u can send me a link to were u bought yours. And I do not have the brembo calibers, oem brakes. Your help would be most appreciated
I see very often new Brembo rotors from old dealer stock on Ebay at bargain prices, but these are for S-Type R and X350 XJR. Most likey these will not fit X308 XJR, otherwise it would be a great deal.
@@LowTechGarage After so many years of Ebay shopping I was surprised to find out that Rockauto still exists. Moreover, I was even more surprised that its website interface is the same I saw in 2006! Will make a throwback to history, thanks.
Again you come in handy thanks man!
No problem!

The hardest part is tracking them down, they don't seem to come up very often. They would be a really nice upgrade though!

Hello!! I have a 2003 Jaguar XJR Supercharged!! Where did you get the rotors and pads and did you use the Brembro brake system?? Thanks!
Rock Auto sells the brembo rotors and pads. My car does not have the brembo calipers.
