@@zalternative1 the game activates the somersault hitbox earlier than the actual somersault animation, and in some instances this can be used to speed things up. Typically, even if you jumped to try and stop the animation, it would execute if you landed, but metal harbor has the pulleys that will cancel the somersault animation, so it's a small speedup in that stage.
