For some reason I just couldn't grasp how these worked based on theory alone until I watched this video, now it seems so very simple, and I feel like an idiot for not understanding it sooner. Thanks!
thanks for solving a 30 years mistery that has been haunting me since the day I got my first bike (bmx) I can now see the end of my day living in bliss.
The Gryo GTX-S has regular ball bearings inside, covered by a rubber seal. For the price, the GTX-S should have a precision bearing cartridge inside. Ball bearings rolling on aluminum will wear out quickly.
Me:*got bmx**cant do tricks except can bunny hop but not high* TH-cam recommendation:I'm about to make this kid buy some gyro Me:*sees vid**watch**me think*should I buy.......ehh ima buy some idc if I cant do tricks I jjst want to know how it feels riding a gyro
This gyro system has been already invented years ago on helicopters and it's called the 'swashplate'. Not a new invention. When a swashplate moves up/down it changes the blade's angle and the heli can climb/descent. The swashplate can also tilt and that rolls the heli. Check it out on a helicopter.
This is very cool but quite niche and specifically, it's just for bmx riders who want to spin the handlebars and have brakes at the same time. It doesn't serve any purposes on a MTB or street bike

Danscomp.. $30 plate+ $80 shipping and taxes and everything
What a genius invention.
in our time we call it rotator.each disc has its own sealed bearings. some made in lightweight solid alloy and hard poly plastic
in the 80’s they call it rotor or rotator...now, gyro and detanglers
In the 80s the Gyro was called the Gyro. Same exact design decades later, because it works perfectly.
is this man BMX jesus?
How does the front break work?
0:20
i still dont get it.
Can someone tell me how to remove the front brake cable from the detangler?it is hold onto by a box shaped thing
When I was a kid. This was the only way to be cool at the BMX track.
How do flatland riders get front and rear brakes on their bikes?
Thanks👍
