The University of Scouting is usually hosted by your Council once a year. This one-day event allows leaders youth and adults to attend classes that help increase their awareness and enjoyment of scouting skills. Many times these skills are unique and different and not normally covered in any other venue. It would be, very hard to attend and not learn something worthwhile. YIS⚜

What I meant was, is it required to do Scouting University each year for the award? As you said round tables are 4 a year for a total of eight, so do you have to do university of scouting each of the two years?

Can the requirements be split between the last year as a Webelos leader and the 1st year as a Scoutmaster?

I do not think so. There are separate forms/applications for each type of unit. It is possible to earn it in a Pack and then again in a Troop or a Crew. A very tiny pin called a “unit device” can be placed on the square knot when earned with multiple units. YIS ⚜
