The highs are just perfect though here you can see the Tribit for fraction of the price of the B&O Gen A1 Gen 2 having better and more refined treble. But still if you're more of a purist you will go with MaxSound Plus at the end of the day as rest of the frequency response is much more balanced here.

For a balanced sounding speaker get the Sony xb33 or the xdobo x8 which sounds almost identical to the Marshall Stockwell 2 on its second sound mode. That said, the xdobo has quality control issues so you don't always get the better ones

Great review, and good to see a tear down to get a good reading of the actual components used and build quality. Just a small correction: 45mm is over 1 3/4 inch (1.77 to be precise), and not 1 1/2 inch.
My speaker charges very very slowly. The cable charges fine other speakers. Over night it barely gets yo 70-80% battery. What do you recommend me to do? 😀
Hi bro. Is it normal when you use it with aux cable, the volume is not as loud. You have to put the volume bar to almost max. I'm using LG G7 with built-in DAC and integrated AMP.
@@speakerblowupmanlee5921 Yes bro. All are set at phone settings. 65/75 volume step is like only 40-50% when connected to bluetooth. Someone said to me that the main board only focus on bluetooth so I just wondering why there's aux input if we can't use it properly, right?

The problem is with the phone. I've had an older LG phone with great DAC, but the volume was also lower with cable. The volume was normal on Bluetooth but I've lost the quality the DAC provided
The highs on this budget speaker extends flat upto 20 kHz. That's pretty impressive for the price and it sounds like a mini studio monitor.
Everything above 80 hz on this speaker is awesome but it lacks deep bass when compared to other similarly sizes speaker

You probably have a charging circuit issue.

Nope. Can't tell if it will power on. You will have to check what charging IC it uses

I don't recommend doing so. You would need a charger circuit. Otherwise you'd damage the cells.
