In todays episode we remove all the cooling lines from the engine, along with the AC compressor, radiator, AC condenser and turbo charger. We also do a walk around the shop at the end of the video to show you what else we are working on and why the episodes have been late recently, we have a LOT of work!
We'll also be setting up a Patreon and GoFundMe account soon.

16m25s… “I have done it twice!” Hahaha 🤣 I have done it once so far! Thank you for reminding me that $1300 mistake! 🤪 Your videos and expertise are priceless! I wish I have watched them all when I was mechanically restoring my 87 Turbo 2 years ago. Outstanding job! Thank you.

Thank you for the great comments, I appreciate you watching our craziness. I was so embarrassed the first time I broke that windshield, the second time, was about a year later, the agony, geeze.

Really appreciate the little tidbits on how things work. Surprised the wobble head impact is still going - perhaps you can get your assistant to cook up some jbweld, it'll probably keep going forever. Wouldn't be much, but would love to contribute something on patreon.

Nice seeing the work on AC. I have to get mine going in my 87 951; it’s no fun driving it without AC here in NM! Also would love to see some video on the 914, since that’s another one of my projects (though getting Subaru 6 swapped).

Hi, I will be replacing the turbocharger on my 86 soon. How difficult is it to access the turbine inlet side from below the car? Is the bottom mount doable without taking off the steering knuckle if I don't need to take the bolt all the way out? The rest of the connections seem fine. Thanks

Most of the access is don't by removing the intake manifold. It's pretty easy. The steering shaft should be able to stay there. Unfortunately I would have to verify that.

You must drink every time he drops a bolt
