Honorant le rythme hypnotique de la danse bretonne, on apprécie l'enrichissement orchestral de cet instrument à cordes superbement joué. Bravo et merci de Bretagne.
Bob, you are a genius. I've watched every performance multiple times. I can't get enough. Your videos even inspired me to buy my own Chapman Railboard! I have about 8-9 weeks left before it's completed. The wait!! Meanwhile, keep uploading these incredible examples of what can be done with the Free Hands method. Thank you, sir!
french republic forbid breton speaking their own langage till early 20th century , so now , very few breton still speak breton langage (about 200000 on 3 000000 people) ; happyness we still have more than 600 kinds of dance with many sorts of music for breton dances
that main melody you call Andro is not traditional it is called War Hent keriguarch and was written by Soig Siberil the original guitar player for the Breton band Kornog. you should make note of copyrighted material. very beautiful playing.
soslothful kan an diskan is 2 peoples who sing. One sing and other repeat with other voice. It was style musical using by breton for do festia after field work.
Shaunagh Smith the Chapman Stick I beleive it has been around for thirty something years. You should check out Bob early stuff on the Stick its here in TH-cam. I took guitar lessons from him in 1980 and while in between lessons he would always be practicing this instrument. I begged him to always play me a song before we would begin my lesson.

All I can say is FANTASTIC!!! ❣️❣️❣️
Best music! Perfect to metal lovers.
I sit mesmerized. This is a beautiful piece and a typically remarkable improvisation. You never fail to amaze me, Robert.
This is the best version of the Breton Dance "an dro" I have ever listened... This is pure magic...
Something mysteriously Celtic and awesome at the same time ! Give us more !
Also really easily danceable I think
I really love Celtic music. I can't wait for your new album!
Monumentally beautiful
C'est très agréable à écouter, et c'est magnifiquement bien joué.
Also, so we'll played, flawless.
This is fantastic, I don't know how people give it a thumbs down!
I think there might be people looking for the dance xD
Cuz the rythm is a bit warped to dance a good andro on it even though the music is gorgeous
@@amaeliss7827 Aye, very true. :)
Wow, what a find! Robert, you have another fan now :-)

Небесная музыка! Задевает струны души! "Heavenly music! Touches the strings of the soul!"

As soon as I get money I'm buying the album! Fantastic!
Very impressive. Excellent rhythm, a distinct "BZH" feeling, and the impression that a whole band is playing. Congrats!
Exquisita versión! Best regards

That's amazing ! Great performance on a peculiar instrument !

Great, Bob! I also like the left-hand-pinky-used-as-capo-trick! Gives a nice ring to it.

c'est surréaliste ! Surtout son instrument à cordes. C'est excellent !
Beautiful, easily the best use of a EH Freeze that I've seen yet! I will look into the Beat Root, as well.

That was really neat. I love me a good jig. This is good timing as I was just thinking the other day of what the stick with a freeze pedal could do.
Not schooling you or anything nI just love to infodump

Lovely
Thank you ! We will go dance it in Brazil !!!
amazing stuff!!!
Amazing, best regards from Madeira island - Portugal :)
Sooo good
GREAT !!!
The colour of Chapman stick reminds of the tiompan one, the true and historical "celtic harp". :)
magnifique
This is so great Bob. Have you ever had a chance to introduce Alan Stivell to a stick? Pardon ignorant question to and about two greats.
Is that Chapman stick? Fluid, medieval fair just beyond the curve in wood.
Deeply moving.... i wish your videos were longer :)
Very Nice :)
Beautiful music Bob. Thank you! If you don't mind answering, what is that guitar in the video with you, Gibson?

What instrument is that?
Very well played! 💪🏻

@@IrishLincoln Thanks!
It sounds lovely.
A bit like the baby of a guitar with a harp or a sitar.
Do you ever perform in California? Would love to see some stick mastery live
So the Freeze is used to give a Hurdy gurdy sound?
Which is the instrument is he using?
What is this instrument called?

very beautiful playing.
Is "An Dro" a tune or a style of music?
Style of breton music. Have kan and diskan also.
An dro is simple music for dance.
Bretagne jean I play an An Dro on the penny whistle. I'd like to know more about kan and diskan.Do you have links?
soslothful kan an diskan is 2 peoples who sing. One sing and other repeat with other voice. It was style musical using by breton for do festia after field work.

nice, Bob! great to see you on tube :)
check out #HGWeekly :|: PEACE
This is wonderful! Except that this musician has no idea how to dance an andro (the rhythm is all wrong)
Yeah no as a slow one it works (but an anter dro might be easier with the way he played it I agree)
It's more a musical interpretation tho
