I had a brief talk with one of the members and yes the plants are stored outside ,He was saying that because of the increment weather the conifers have changed into different shades which I think makes it even more realistic, I think the concept is a great idea -no making trees which can be very time consuming ! I had seen an indoor layout years ago with a few real indoor plants sunk down into it here and there. Otherwise it was regular model scenery. The fellow went around and watered the plants. He was old them so I suppose it is long gone.
