Hallow there from the US my friend!!! The Layouts are just wow so nice to see them. Thank you for showing them:)!!! Time to start to shop now!!! Some of the Dining cars :) I do have. It is fun to look at all of the great stuff there at the show. All the best to you both :)!!!
Brilliant Video. Like that GWR Railcar on one of the stands same stand as the Class 31 and the Mainline Railways Manor Class. Also nice to finally meet you at the New Mills & District Railway Modellers on Sunday.
Hi Simon, nice to finally meet you too. It was a fun show, well aren't they all? Hope to bump into you again sometime. Ps I keep meaning to buy one of those railcars but something else always catches my eye. All the best Rick
Thanks for another grand tour of a train show, especial from a city I have actually been to now! lol Each show you get to see layouts not otherwise seen, each with its own unique twist and style. I mean, how cool a club has a layout... of the club! I know several folks who would have jumped at the N-Gauge Bullet train! The AirFix kits were interesting. Although I never bought train related, I bought dozens, if not hundreds of AirFix militaria HO/OO kits and painted them over the years. All sold... and miss them a little. Cheers you two! All the best!
Thanks Anthony, I had lots of Airfix kits as a youngster, planes, trains and ships. It was a nice show and very busy and it's always nice to visit York as you very well know. All the best Rick
Thanks Graham that was a nice layout wasn't it. No I haven't seen the prices of kits but I can imagine the postage alone being a lot more than 50p. Cheers Rick
I know what you mean, especially with older train models it seems ridiculous.. If these prices were genuine I have a fortune laying around in crappy locos and dodgy rolling stock 😄
Great video as usual, encouraging me to get out to more similar events. One small point - there was what looked to be a police officer on foot, probably the village bobby, next to the car in the fence . They had such beings in the 50's and 60's
Hi Richard, yes I heard the rumours about such things back then. At first I thought it was all rubbish like Nessie but no it was a thing back then! All the best Rick
Hi Rick and Pauline, it was nice to meet you at the show and go round filming with you. You got some great footage of my layout North Milford Halt and thanks for bringing it to a larger audience than mine! My video is also out on my channel, if you want to have a look. Thanks Daniel

I went to York show in Easter 1996 and enjoyed the layouts. It was at the Racecourse. Is it still at held at that venue?
This was the Ebor group Modellers group. The big is at the racecourse in April. Cheers Rick
Little train in the background is called a Wycombe trolley
Thanks Stephen my memory fails me sometimes! 😂😂
