  • What is necessary to diagnose R-CPD? What is sufficient? Do we need to spend thousands of dollars for x-rays, manometry, upper GI scopes, gastric emptying studies? Here's Dr. Bastian's opinion after successful diagnosis and treatment of his personal caseload of nearly 1000 persons with R-CPD.

    Thank you for all this information about R-CPD it helps a lot! Sometimes we, the people with this suffering feel lost because many doctors don't know about it 😢

    This is me, Doc. My sister tried to teach me, unsuccessfully, to burp when we were kids. I'm 49 now and I have a tiny burp about once a year. When I do, I usually text my wife and kids with "I BURPED TODAY!" And the flatulence issue - YES! Especially, when I go to bed. Some nights my wife wants to kill me (she's a saint though). I'm thinking very seriously of coming to see you, as I just live over in Rockford. Thanks for making this video.

      I haven't been to Dr Bastian, but I've had the treatment elsewhere; I'd do it a hundred times over if I had to. It's life-changing! I always hear great things about Dr Bastian's institute, too, from other sufferers.

    Thank you so much for your reply.!! Would there be more bacteria build up in the mouth because if the R-CPD?

      I don't think so at all...Best to help with bacteria buildup (unrelated to R-CPD) is 1/3 strength hydrogen peroxide gargles. Gargle, gargle, spit; gargle and spit. Wait until you feel the foaming action. Then rinse with plain water and spit. Also a tongue brush.

    Can R-CPD cause or be related somehow to tonsil stones (which cause bad breath)?

    • @Laryngopedia
      @Laryngopedia  18 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I don't think there would be any relationship. Tonsil stones are treated with dilute H2O2 gargles and if protracted and severe, tonsillectomy.
