At the time of that album, Dave Mustaine - Lead vocals, Rhythm and lead guitar , Marty Friedman - Lead guitar, David Ellefson - Bass and Nick Menza on drums. You should react to Tornado of Souls it has one of the greatest solo's ever created, written by Marty Friedman himself.
One of the best Megadeth's songs ever. Rust In Peace was recorded in 1990. The classical line-up of Megadeth recorded that album: Nick Menza (RIP) on drums, David Ellefson Jr. on bass guitar, Marty Friedman on lead and rhythm guitar and Dave Mustaine on lead & rhythm guitar, also on vocals, and also the unique composer of all the Rust In Peace songs. And, yes. Maybe not for Mustaine, but his kickin' out of Metallica was one of the most important events in metal history. Thanks to that, we have Megadeth. And, at the same time, we have Metallica as we know them. Cheerz!
Rust In Peace is my favorite album of all time!!! So many good songs!! If you get a chance check out Twilight of the Thunder God by Amon Amarth. It's growly vocals, but if you can handle that it's an amazing song I bet you will love!
Of course! Megadeth is one of the greatest heavy metal groups ever. They've never really change either , even recently. Alway hard, complex, and fast. They've always had great solos, too. Long ones. This is one of their best albums ever "Rust in Peace". Used to jam out to them with my friends & brothers a lot back in back in high school (early-mid '90s). I'm old. lol Dave Mustaine is very talented, sings and plays those crazy riffs & solos at the same time. He was just hard to deal with. lol. Partied too much in his younger days, strong personality, temper, but very smart. Didn't take crap from anybody.
I'm old too (lol),I bought a bootleg of Rust in Piece from a buddy in high school, then one of my dad's friends gave me Peace Sells & So Far,So Good...So What? Safe to say that I was hooked.😁
Dave Mustaine and Marty Friedman was on guitars on that song. I must remind you about Megadeth's In My Darkest Hour because I'm literally just lying day after day in my bed waiting to see you react to that. If you do that, please watch a lyric video, because the lyrics are really insane. Great video again btw :)
Nihilist Yeah that one is definitely a must listen, plus I love the fact that he wrote it about Cliff Burton. It shows that even though he was at odds with Metallica, the bond with Cliff didn't die.
That whole album is a landmark of thrash and probably the most iconic line up with amazing lead work from marty friedman. It's the only cd I've bought 3 times from having worn scratches in it. Might as well listen to it all the drum and guitar interaction on take no prisoners is great too.
this is megadeth most technical album. marty friedman was possessed, dave mustaine was on fire, david ellefson was in the zone and nick menza drummed like a kamikaze. this album is a landmark of metal. this album is a major influence on many musicians.
Anything acoustic by Chris Cornell, one of my many favorites is, "Before We Disappear", from his Higher Truth album. I had the privilege of seeing Mr Cornell's live acoustic performance in 2015 and when he sang "Call me a Dog" it was very emotional for me. Love your reactions, very cool of you to take time to do this PinkMetalHead. \m/
As a life long metal head watching these videos makes me kind of jealous. To be able to discover all this wonderful music and listen to it for the first time again. The first time I saw Megadeth's Holy Wars video on Headbanger's ball on MTV I was hooked and I've been a fan ever since.
Derp Herpula Yeah, she should definatly check out this awesome song, anything from Death is just pure gold. I would like her to react to Voice Of The Soul too, or any song from Human or Symbolic or Spiritual Healing records!!
Make America Self-destruct again Yes it is the cover from Spiritual Migration. I recently discovered Persefone and fastly become one of my favorite bands
When this album was recorded the guitarists were Dave Mustaine & Marty Friedman trading off between lead and rhythm guitars. Current Guitarists as of today 2017 are Dave Mustaine and Kiko Loureiro. Thanks for reacting to this as it is one of my favorites by Megadeth! Another one I love is Insomnia! Please do that one!!! Insomnia is what I suffer with every night!! :) lol
Great idea man, I personnally am all in with horsemen because I think that the mid song bridge fits more metallica's style than mechanix did, personnal opinion though
It was my senior year in HS when this dropped. I was in love from day one. Thanks for being open-minded and willing to listen. People like you and those 2 fellas from Las Vegas (Ryan and George, I believe) are my favorite reaction video folk. You could change the world with that open-minded perspective. All the best.
You are so open to the music it's great! And you are right about these being some of the best solos ever! Any Marty and Dave solo back and forth thing can't be topped. Two styles that kick ass.
Marty Friedman played most of solos on this song. Marty played a lot middle Eastern scales and modes. He know lives in Japan. The drummer on that, Nick Menza, recently passed away.
The line up for this album (Rust In Peace): Dave Mustaine - Guitar (the speed picking, more aggressive solos) Marty Friedman - Guitar (the more exotic, intricate sounding solos) Dave Ellefson - Bass Guitar Nick Menza - Drums
The lineup during this album was Dave Mustaine (vocals, guitar), Marty Friedman (guitar), Dave Ellefon (bass guitar), and Nick Menza (drums). It is the most renown lineup in all of Megadeth's history (and this is a majorly agreed upon among the global fanbase). Nick Menza (drums) recently passed away on May 1st 2016, due to heart failure during a live performance with the band he was then with (OHM). Many of the fans and the members of the Rust In Peace line up were actually hoping to have a reunion event of some kind just before his death. Anyway, yes, Dave has a long history of changing people out due to all kinds of reasons from simply not getting along, to the people he chooses only having enough availability for one album/tour. The Rust line-up was probably the most consistent they'd ever had, spanning from Rust in Peace (1990) - Cryptic Writings (1997).
I love your reactions, your personality.. everything. Megadeth is my favorite.. not just the music but the depth of the lyrics. You should do one of the more emotional songs they have.. the song 13, A Tout Le Monde , or My darkest hour. Keep rockin!
When you are ready to dive into "lesser" known metal bands, I suggest: Mastodon, Between The Buried and Me, Russian Circles, The Sword, The Devin Townsend Project, Ghost, Periphery, Meshuggah... I could go on and on. haha. And for a real surprise, you should check out Gwar.
Megadeth played the entire Rust in Peace album at a concert they put on in the next town over several years ago and it was absolutely amazing. I doubt another band will ever be able to impress me like that.
Dave Mustaine (frontman) and his other guitarists always share rhythym and lead guitar duties. For this album, it was Dave Mustaine and Marty Freidman. And yes, he was part of Metallica up until '83 or '83. I grew up loving Metallica but grew a deep appreciation for Dave Mustaine's guitar genius around 1990 when the "Rust in Peace" album came out. I then bought all of their previous albums and grew to love their music too.
Great reaction again. I love your face when that solo begins and going and going. One of my favorite Megadeth songs. Next you should check Peace Sells or Wake Up Dead from Megadeth too. I know there are lot of people who like Metallica and don't like Megadeth and vice versa but i love them both. Best thing that happened to Dave is "leaving" Metallica and meeting another Dave (bass player) cause we have 2 great bands. P.S. You did butcher my name but you did a good job in the end.
This song, with Marty's solos, has unwittingly become her gateway drug into the breathtaking world of virtuosic guitar gods and solos that may or may not actually melt your face off. Six string gunslingers by the names of Steve Vai, Jason Becker and Buckethead await thee on the other side, m'lady. When you're ready, take a deep breath and listen to the orchestral version of 'For the Love of God' by Steve Vai. You'll never look at guitar players the same afterwards. You have been warned...
Yay! You listened to it, awesome review. That whole album Rust In Peace is a lot of peoples fave Megadeth album. A lot of people also consider Peace Sells But Who's Buying (and the song also) a classic if you want to check that out.
for your question as to who was in the band at the time of rust in peace (the album) that was Dave Mustaine (lead vocals / rhythm guitar and some leads), Marty Friedman (lead guitars and backing vocals), Dave Ellefson (Bass) and Nick Menza (drums) dave and marty trade solos in this song if I remember correctly there are 11 guitar solos in total, 6 done by Marty, 5 done by Dave \m/
I fell in love with Megadeth after hearing this song. Cool side note: Hangar 18 is an actual hangar where a UFO was kept hidden at Wright-Patt Airforce Base in Fairborn, Ohio. Interestingly enough, I grew up less than 4 miles from it.
The guitarists on this Megadeth album, Rust in Peace, are Dave Mustaine and Marty Freidman. On the song, Hangar 18, both Dave Mustaine and Marty Freidman are trading off on the guitar solos.
"A Tout Le Monde" is a good song from Megadeth if you are interested in some slow stuff from them. Also please react to METALLICA - THE FOUR HORSEMEN Live Seattle 1989. Thanks :)
Oh and because you asked so nicely for info.. The line up for this album Rust in Peace is Dave Mustaine (Vocals Rhythm Guitar/Lead), Marty Friedman (Rhythm Guitar/Lead), David Ellefson (Bass), Nick Menza (Drums)... The solos in this song are Dave and Marty trading off like a battle.. Thats why there are so many, If you listen to it again you will pick up the different styles of their playing.. Dave is really aggressive and fast, Marty is very Melodic. The last solo is Daves same as in Holy Wars.. Its absolutely insane that he is singing while playing this stuff on guitar as well.. Theres nobody else in the world that can do what Dave does.. Some extra info on this line up this was the first album that Nick Menza and Marty Friedman played on with the band and its the bands 4th album. Marty left the band in 2000 after the album Risk (He now plays J-Pop in Japan) Nick Menza was kicked out of the band because of drugs in late 1998 just before Risk.. (He died early this year from heart failure :'( ) This line up is considered the best line up by most... But I personally like their first line up with Gar Samuelson on Drums and Chris Poland on Rhythm Guitar/Lead.. I also really like the current line up as well its probably the strongest line up since this one.. Worth checking out their latest album Dystopia.
Peace Sells by Megadeth Into the fire by Dokken Btw the Guitarists at this time were Dave Mustaine(also lead singer) and Marty Freidman On drums was Nick Menza and bass was Dave Ellefson Megadeth has had a revolving door of great guitarists and drummers
Dave Mustaine is the only member of the band who has always been in the band. I believe both Mustaine and Marty Friedman did solos in that song. This is one of my favorite albums of all time.
Yep, that's the gold standard for Thrash Metal right there. This line-up is my favorite, with Nick Menza on drums and Marty Friedman on lead guitar. Great reactions PMH!
Yeahh!!! wow thank you for this reaction video. Now you're doin' the Megadeth Train, good on u, that is a very good choice for thrash metal ^_^, keep up the good work @PinkMetalHead A lot of love girl, a lot of love!
And by the way, the rust in peace band lineup was: Dave Mustaine - Lead Vocals/Rhythm guitar (with leads) Marty Friedman - Lead Guitar David Ellefson - Bass Nick Menza (RIP) - Drums
The "Daves" + Martie Friedman + Nick Menza, best line-up in whole Megadeth history IMHO ! This Album, was literally shaking when I bought the Vinyl while I was a teen - like Season in the Abyss from Slayer BTW- Anyway thank you for the reaction, so refreshing :)
Like some one mentioned already, Dave Mustaine and Marty Friedman take turns with the solos on this one. Rest of the crew is bassist David Ellefson and now late drummer Nick Menza (the best Megadeth lineup if you ask me). Mustaine got kicked out of Metallica just as they arrived to New York to record Kill 'em All. He had just come to from passing out in the van(?) after drinking heavily. Next Megadeth songs that I recommend are "Tornado of Souls" and "The Conjuring". Nice reaction to the latter half of this one. The way the song intensifies towards the end is EPIC!
Yep. That's why Rust in Peace is my favorite Thrash album of all time. Back when I first heard it it's been my favorite album since then. The version you listened to were the remasters, while they're okay, they don't hold a candle to the original recordings.
When I think of face-melting guitar solos, Hangar 18 by Megadeth is the number one example that comes to mind. I envy every person who gets to experience that album for the first time, especially Hangar 18.
Megadeth line up for this album was. Dave Mustaine vocals and Rythm/Lead guitar. Marty Friedman Rythm/lLead guitar. David Ellefson Bass, and Nick Menza on Drums Nick sadly passed away in 2016.
This album had Marty Friedman on guitar. He has some incredible solo work. Dragon's Kiss is an amazing album as well as the Cacophony albums he did with Jason Becker.
Marty Friedman was in another band before Megadeth and was called Cacophony with Jason Becker and was amazing guitar player and in 91 was diagnosed with ALS awesome check it out
Gotta love a beautiful lady head-bangin to classic thrash! And getting her genuine reaction ... love her videos! ;) p.s. Marty Friedman on guitar (in addition to Dave); Nick Menza on drums (RIP)
This might get a lil long so bare with me here. Marty Friedman was the lead guitarist during this period from Hanger 18 til Crypting writings so that's 4 albums if memory serves He's very gifted has a new album that just dropped as well Swear he doesn't age looks almost the same as he did in this period lol. This period was the best line up they have ever had in my opinion. Nick Menza(who's passed away now) on drums who also gave Dave the idea for the lyrics for this song. Dave Ellefson on Bass (founding member still there but left for a period in the early mid 2000's, who's a pastor has his own coffee brand as well.)Marty who I mentioned and Dave. Though I will note the current line up could threaten to take the lead as the best line up because of KIko, who is a briilliant guitarist and note choices are superb, A guitar battle between Marty and Kiko would be insane and inspiring for sure. PinkMetalHead if you liked Hanger 18 Dystopia off the most recent Megadeth album Dystopia lol has a lot of similarities to Hanger 18t he song and Kiko drops insane solos on that song and entire album actually. Took me a week and a half to get his solos down clean pat the runs are fast and furious. I do agree the best thing that happened was Metallica kicking Dave out. I don't agree with how they did it and they've even said they could've been more classy about it. Dave is a very gifted player and songwriter.
I see many have already provided the answers as this was several years ago. Started watching your reactions which are priceless and I love your assessments. They are pretty much spot on. I would have to recommend Jason Becker if you like solos. He was an AMAZING guitarist with a very tragic story. A Bach of his time. You need to have a reaction to his song 'Altitudes' on his 1st solo album 'Perpetual burn'. He wrote this when he was only 16 years old. Trust me, you will be extremely pleased that you did! Keep up the great work
Love Megadeth. Hangar 18 is my favorite Megadeth song. Make sure to react to Spiritual Void by Overkill, Pull Me Under by Dream Theater, and My Own Summer by Deftones. Glad you like Megadeth. They are amazing.
Best Megadeth line-up: Dave Mustaine(Vocals/rhythm/lead guitar) Marty Friedman(lead guitar) David Ellefson(bass guitar) Nick Menza(Drum) RIP🤘 Upto 5:17 the solos were played by Marty Friedman. After that both Marty and Mustaine were on the lead guitar. Btw, I can see that the audios in your videos are quite improved😀 love your videos❤ tornado of souls- Megadeth live in San Diego🤘
OMG, I got chills on my chills. The heavy lifting on guitar was Marty Friedman, with some back and forth with Dave. And you're absolutely right. This is one of the best guitar songs you'll ever hear. Tornado of Souls has a killer solo as well. React to Van Halen Eruption/You Really Got Me..
The entire album is cheap and a must own. it's like 4$ or something yet wort 15 or something. One of the greatest things ever happend to metal with this one. glad to see you''randomly'' enjoy these song, love the reaction on peoples faces, this cought me by suprise also this megadeth album.
Why don't you go and see them live they will be doing arena tours very soon with Scorpions. Next Megadeth song I would recommend would be one of their newest songs.. Dystopia. Enjoy \m/
Megadeth is an amazing band! One of my favorites for sure! This song is in fact my favorite Megadeth song. Great song, Dave & Marty's battling guitar solos at the end is the best part of the song. I recommend Tornado of Souls.
Marty Friedman and dave mustane are on guitars on this album. megadeth was once was called a jazz band that plays metal. Dave usually fired half the band after each album lol. Loved the reaction.
Death Flesh and the Power it holds!! Any death ftom The Albimn Human through their last Sounds of Perseverance. That was Marty Friedman as lead, Dave Ellfson as Bass, Nick Menza as drums(holy wars)
+D.S. Park: Look up Jeff Beck. One of the guitarists ever who decided that if he can't play it without a pick, it's not worth playing. Using the fingers gives a different feel to it which some prefer. Lil Wayne is obviously shit, though, the original comment was a joke.
Dave Muscatine (Vocals/guitar) and David Ellefson (Bass) have been primarily been the key members of the band since the beginning. But their best lineup was the 90's when they were joined with Nick Menza (Drums) RIP and Marty Friedman (guitar). Here's a link to a live Holy Wars performance with that legendary lineup. th-cam.com/video/dlR4XtnmjPc/w-d-xo.html
Loving the reaction videos. Always good to see people enjoying all types of metal. Would love to see some reactions to Kamelot, Sonata Arctica, Nightwish, or Alestorm.
Marty Friedman was self taught and learned to hold his pick in a weird way which made some of the stuff he came up with in his solo's really unique. On all the guitarists, it's a mixture of Dave Mustaine being terrible to work with(so they leave) and him always wanting the best guitarist(so he fires them). Because he is a lead guitarist he always gets the best guitarists out there.
I don't understand the race/cultural issues in music. I'm of an indo-caribbean background and my dad as well as myself love a lot of the old school heavy rock/metal stuff ranging from Led Zep to Iron Maiden. A small anecdote from myself, when I was University I knew a friend who knew a lot of metal bands (even though his favourite of all time is Metallica) and really got me into the music and helped expand my knowledge. In my second year I started to learn the guitar and I really got in to the Big 4. In 3rd year I began learning/playing some of the more advanced thrash metal songs like Battery (Metallica) and Holy Wars. I had a few friends who were born in places like Nigeria, Ghana and Botswana who never knew much about metal, they thought it was aggressive, angry music. I remember playing them these songs on my guitar and showing them the studio versions and they were blown away purely because of the flow and changes but also the depth of the instrumentals. It was good to see that with an open mind, anyone can enjoy metal. If I where to start a list of songs for you to react to from the metal world, this would be one massive comment though from Rust in Peace, give "Tornado of Souls" a listen, fantastic lyrics and an incredible solo. Also "Wake up dead", "Peace Sells", "In my Darkest Hour", "Hook in mouth", ""A Tout le monde", "Train of Consequences", "Mechanix", "Skin o my teeth", "Symphony of destruction", "Foreclosure of a dream", ""Ashes in your mouth", "She-wolf", "Trust", "Dystopia", "Post-American World" are all reaction worthy, there are more though!
Subbed to your channel, love your reaction. You are an angel for not stopping the song after every 20 secs like some other you tubers lol. I have to check if you have reacted to stairways of heaven and pink floyd high and low.
Hey lady! My all time favourite Megadeth song is Peace Sells. Kindly do a react to that. You seem to dig tight lyrics, so I think you'll like the overall feel of that one. Also recommend Symphony of Destruction. ✌🏽❤️ from a fellow metal loving chick. Cheers 😘 Ps. Definitely going to give you a follow on twitter so we can chat music there and hopefully eyeliner cause you are always killin' it with that wing!
Hey girl! Sure thing! Definitely doing more Megadeth in the future. I'm honestly not on twitter that much, but you can still DM me on there or even better email me! And thanks for noticing the effort I tried to put into my wing! haha These guys wouldn't never even recognize it. ;p lol
Your enthusiasm is infectious. Makes me remember how I must have felt at your age hearing this stuff for the 1st time. Thanx for making me remember!
Thats awesome .
In this song is a solo war, the singer Dave Mustaine vs the leader guitarrist Marty Friedman!
Pelase react to Megadeth - Tornado of souls live.
Yes, Yes, Yes Please react
Not live tho
Guitarists. Dave Mustaine and Marty Friedman. On bass David Ellefson and on drums, Nick Menza (may he RIP).
menza died??? shit.
right around the release of dystopia
thwipp89
21st of may, 2016. Died of a heart attack while on stage with OHM (Chris Poland's band).
whoa...kind of sad i hadn't heard about something as dramatic as that. thx for the info.
Yep, by far!!!
The solos at the end of this song alternated betwee Dave Mustaine the Lead singer and Marty Friedman, I always enjoyed this song because it was like a guitar duel at the end. The last solo was Dave mustaine, so if you work backwards you can figure out who did which solo.
Actually they don't alternate....at first. Marty does the first two. Then it is Dave then Marty then Dave Then Marty Then Dave on the last one.
As Mustaine and Friedman are both lead guitarists at heart they really showed off their skills with Hanger 18, always think of it as a guitar off between those two! lol. oh look a metalhead with an anime profile pic!
Kritical Dave is a great lead, but his rhythm is just godly.
RIP Nick Menza
Kritical ..agreed..awesome
Kritical there shouldn't even be the label "lead guitarist" used... especially for those two. It should be just guitarist.
Watch "she wolf" Megadeth live rude awaking, is fucking amazing, have a great drum and guitar solos
One of the best Megadeth's songs ever. Rust In Peace was recorded in 1990. In my darkest hour, love that song. First song I heard and first time I heard about Megadeth. She MUST do that one.
Nihilist Yeah that one is definitely a must listen, plus I love the fact that he wrote it about Cliff Burton. It shows that even though he was at odds with Metallica, the bond with Cliff didn't die.
Mike Felty Cliff Burton's death inspired Mustaine to do that song but the lyrics wasn't about Cliff, it was about Dave's ex-girlfriend.
That whole album is a landmark of thrash and probably the most iconic line up with amazing lead work from marty friedman. It's the only cd I've bought 3 times from having worn scratches in it. Might as well listen to it all the drum and guitar interaction on take no prisoners is great too.

Glad to see your subscribers are taking care of you. Awesome recommendation. This is my favorite Megadeath song.
if you wanna hear the greatest guitar solo ever written it is Megadeth- Tornado of Souls
As a life long metal head watching these videos makes me kind of jealous. To be able to discover all this wonderful music and listen to it for the first time again. The first time I saw Megadeth's Holy Wars video on Headbanger's ball on MTV I was hooked and I've been a fan ever since.
I love your reactions to the solos part. It's my reaction every time I listen to it, too. It's such an AMAZING song on so many levels.
Death - Flesh and the Power it Holds
Derp Herpula Yeah, she should definatly check out this awesome song, anything from Death is just pure gold. I would like her to react to Voice Of The Soul too, or any song from Human or Symbolic or Spiritual Healing records!!
I agree with Flesh and the power it holds, its a great introductory to one of the greatest metal bands of all time.
Lack of comprehension for sure would change her forever
Make America Self-destruct again Yes it is the cover from Spiritual Migration. I recently discovered Persefone and fastly become one of my favorite bands
1000 times yes.

Metallica - The Four Horsemen
Vs
Megadeth - The Mechanix
It's a must
Sounds like you’re an old school fan🤘🏻
Definitely am!!
Now that’s a great suggestion buddy👍🏻
Great idea man, I personnally am all in with horsemen because I think that the mid song bridge fits more metallica's style than mechanix did, personnal opinion though
You mean a Dave Musteine song vs a Dave Mustaine song ?
It was my senior year in HS when this dropped. I was in love from day one. Thanks for being open-minded and willing to listen.
People like you and those 2 fellas from Las Vegas (Ryan and George, I believe) are my favorite reaction video folk.
You could change the world with that open-minded perspective. All the best.
Lord, I forgot how much Marty LIT IT UP on that solo. Especially those Egyptian style runs. Just bonkers-good.
I love your videos! And RIP Nick Menza (July 23, 1964 - May 21, 2016) on drums, he was amazing! I miss him. Cheers from France :-)
You are so open to the music it's great! And you are right about these being some of the best solos ever! Any Marty and Dave solo back and forth thing can't be topped. Two styles that kick ass.

on megadeth songs in general dave and the second guitarist go back and forth on solos with dave doing around 30-40% (roughly estimating)

Marty Friedman is the lead guitarist on this album. Marty has a great solo career in Japan now. Check out some Marty Friedman solo stuff is awesome!
Also, never forget the beastliest of beasts, the late Shawn Lane.
Yay! You listened to it, awesome review. That whole album Rust In Peace is a lot of peoples fave Megadeth album. A lot of people also consider Peace Sells But Who's Buying (and the song also) a classic if you want to check that out.
Had to come back to this. Which guitarsolo can top this?
Tornado of Souls.
for your question as to who was in the band at the time of rust in peace (the album) that was Dave Mustaine (lead vocals / rhythm guitar and some leads), Marty Friedman (lead guitars and backing vocals), Dave Ellefson (Bass) and Nick Menza (drums) dave and marty trade solos in this song if I remember correctly there are 11 guitar solos in total, 6 done by Marty, 5 done by Dave \m/
I fell in love with Megadeth after hearing this song.
Cool side note: Hangar 18 is an actual hangar where a UFO was kept hidden at Wright-Patt Airforce Base in Fairborn, Ohio. Interestingly enough, I grew up less than 4 miles from it.
Definitely need to check out "she wolf" by megadeth, but the live version from the rude awakening dvd
(He died early this year from heart failure :'( )
This line up is considered the best line up by most... But I personally like their first line up with Gar Samuelson on Drums and Chris Poland on Rhythm Guitar/Lead.. I also really like the current line up as well its probably the strongest line up since this one.. Worth checking out their latest album Dystopia.
As long as they play the songs the same...
Peace Sells by Megadeth
Into the fire by Dokken
Btw the Guitarists at this time were Dave Mustaine(also lead singer) and Marty Freidman
On drums was Nick Menza and bass was Dave Ellefson
Megadeth has had a revolving door of great guitarists and drummers
As soon as i seen this vid up ....clicked on it immediately .....another great reaction girl ...love your critique of these thrash metal classics.
Dave Mustaine is the only member of the band who has always been in the band. I believe both Mustaine and Marty Friedman did solos in that song.
This is one of my favorite albums of all time.
Marty Friedman was on the lead guitar from 1990 to 2000. And he wrote most of solos in Hangar 18.
Thanks!!
on this LP Rust In Peace was playing
singer guitar Dave Mustaine
back vocals Bass David Ellefson
lead guitar Marty Friedman
drums Nick Menza (R.I.P)
Keep reacting to the songs on this Megadeth album. They're all freaking gold.
Yep, that's the gold standard for Thrash Metal right there. This line-up is my favorite, with Nick Menza on drums and Marty Friedman on lead guitar. Great reactions PMH!
Killing is my business - Megadeth
Adam Sjöberg and business is good 😉
How could i forget :P
probably my fave album
Yeahh!!! wow thank you for this reaction video. Now you're doin' the Megadeth Train, good on u, that is a very good choice for thrash metal ^_^, keep up the good work @PinkMetalHead A lot of love girl, a lot of love!
And by the way, the rust in peace band lineup was:
Dave Mustaine - Lead Vocals/Rhythm guitar (with leads)
Marty Friedman - Lead Guitar
David Ellefson - Bass
Nick Menza (RIP) - Drums
The "Daves" + Martie Friedman + Nick Menza, best line-up in whole Megadeth history IMHO ! This Album, was literally shaking when I bought the Vinyl while I was a teen - like Season in the Abyss from Slayer BTW-
Anyway thank you for the reaction, so refreshing :)
In my opinion is Jason Becker the G.O.A.T. Such a shame he got ALS
This whole album is a guitar laden, riff-o-rama eargasm.
Hangar 18 is my favorite.
That last couple of minutes of this song are mind blowing.
Dave and Bass Player (also named Dave ) are the two mainstays and the other spots were interchangeable
Best Megadeth line-up:
Dave Mustaine(Vocals/rhythm/lead guitar)
Marty Friedman(lead guitar)
David Ellefson(bass guitar)
Nick Menza(Drum) RIP🤘
Upto 5:17 the solos were played by Marty Friedman. After that both Marty and Mustaine were on the lead guitar. Btw, I can see that the audios in your videos are quite improved😀 love your videos❤ tornado of souls- Megadeth live in San Diego🤘
What I would recommend is Sepultura "Dead embryonic cells" If not already suggested. Kudos
Not sure if she can handle it
that's too extreme for her LoL
If she's getting into Death then a little early Sepultura won't hurt her,btw excellent choice ❤❤❤ Sepultura, got the bone S inked on my back.😈🤘😈🤘😈🤘
that band line up was dave mustaine guitars and vocals marty friedman guitars nick menza drums and dave ellefson on bass
That album on guitar was Lead vocals and guitar David Mustaine and lead guitarist Marty Friedman
OMG, I got chills on my chills. The heavy lifting on guitar was Marty Friedman, with some back and forth with Dave. And you're absolutely right. This is one of the best guitar songs you'll ever hear. Tornado of Souls has a killer solo as well. React to Van Halen Eruption/You Really Got Me..
megadeth-tornado of souls(greatest guitar solo ever!)
This solo is so hard i cant even do the first bend note properly ..
Its a really fast full step bend on the 3rd fret g string and quickly return to no bend then slowly do a half step bend
Marty Friedman
lucretia is a good solo as well
Lucretia is the best song Dave's ever written.
Truly one of the best albums from Megadeth
It's a song that keeps on going
The entire album is cheap and a must own. it's like 4$ or something yet wort 15 or something. One of the greatest things ever happend to metal with this one. glad to see you''randomly'' enjoy these song, love the reaction on peoples faces, this cought me by suprise also this megadeth album.
Why don't you go and see them live they will be doing arena tours very soon with Scorpions.
Next Megadeth song I would recommend would be one of their newest songs.. Dystopia. Enjoy \m/
In all my years listening to metal, this is the most solos i heard in 1 song. Insane.
Megadeth is an amazing band! One of my favorites for sure! This song is in fact my favorite Megadeth song. Great song, Dave & Marty's battling guitar solos at the end is the best part of the song. I recommend Tornado of Souls.
Marty Friedman on guitar and Nick Menza on drums. The classic line up for most.
Rhythm guitar: Dave Mustaine
Lead guitar Marty Friedman
Bass guitar David Ellefson
Drums Nick Menza
Dave is also Lead guitar its a duel role.
Jim Whites I know this, I just simplified it for pinkmetalhead
Marty Friedman and dave mustane are on guitars on this album. megadeth was once was called a jazz band that plays metal. Dave usually fired half the band after each album lol. Loved the reaction.
Just listen to this whole album. Every song is great. Pure masterpiece of metal.
Death Flesh and the Power it holds!! Any death ftom The Albimn Human through their last Sounds of Perseverance. That was Marty Friedman as lead, Dave Ellfson as Bass, Nick Menza as drums(holy wars)
I still remember seeing this video for the 1st time on the jukebox channel. I'm getting old lol
As expected....IT HIT YOU LIKE A TRUCK... like all of us the first time!
Dave Mustaine and Marty Friedman traded solos through the whole song. You should see this one live. They'll drag it out to 20 minutes.
Lil wayne played all the guitar solos
I thought Lil Wayne was on vocals...?
Lil' Wayne is a guitar prodigy.
Maybe the most innovative, creative guitarist since Hendrix.
You Tube him and prepare to be amazed.
@Me You okaaaaaaaay 😂😂😂

Loving the reaction videos. Always good to see people enjoying all types of metal. Would love to see some reactions to Kamelot, Sonata Arctica, Nightwish, or Alestorm.
your the best thing I've discovered all year! love you! pantera, cowboys from hell. please!
Dave Mustaine and Marty Freidman were the guitarists on that album and played on Hangar 18. Love your videos keep it up :)
Gah. I'd kill to be able to hear all these songs for the first time all over again.
Love your reaction videos. Also, you're absolutely gorgeous.
Megadeth as new album Dystopia is amazing. Listen to the title track!
Line-up for the Rust In Peace record:
Dave Mustaine - Guitars/Vocals
Marty Friedman - Guitars
David Ellefson - Bass
Nick Menza (R.I.P) - Drums
Subbed to your channel, love your reaction. You are an angel for not stopping the song after every 20 secs like some other you tubers lol. I have to check if you have reacted to stairways of heaven and pink floyd high and low.
guitars is Dave himself and Marty friedman. And the constant changing members couldn't (and wouldn't) affect anything cause Dave IS Megadeth.
Hey lady! My all time favourite Megadeth song is Peace Sells. Kindly do a react to that. You seem to dig tight lyrics, so I think you'll like the overall feel of that one. Also recommend Symphony of Destruction. ✌🏽❤️ from a fellow metal loving chick. Cheers 😘
Ps.
And thanks for noticing the effort I tried to put into my wing! haha These guys wouldn't never even recognize it. ;p lol
PinkMetalHead oh trust me I noticed the wing :b
anything off of peace sells would be great
Both awesome songs
