Green Tea by Elizabeth Arden was the first perfume I ever owned - it was pretty much the only thing I could afford being a freshman in uni, but even till this day I still enjoy it for more than just its nostalgic value. People here in North American tend to like sweet, spicy, gourmand scents a lot more than people in Asia, where light, refreshing, more subtle scents are more popular. I really wish more tea scents could be accessible to the US market.
FYI: Osmanthus is not only consumed as tea in China, it is also widely used for desserts. Some of my favorite tea fragrances: Spring / Summer / All Year Round Chakai by Ritual Earl Grey and Cucumber by Jo Malone ( Jo Malone has an entire Rare Tea Collection besides their regular offerings, and it is fabulous ) Tea by Commodity ( new formula , one with oolong, honey, tobacco etc ) Fall/Winter: Indigo by Nest ( main note: Moroccan Tea)
Dita von Teese did a fragrance that had lapsang souchong tea in it and it's one of my favorites. I love to spray it on if I'm just having a day at home and it makes even the most mundane chores feel glamorous

Tea is a note I don't tend to gravitate towards but kilians imperial tea , bulletproof by Tokyo milk and white tea by the merchant of venice are among my favourites that I've tried. Great to be able to learn about so many more new perfumes to me 😍 appreciate your insight as always 🍀
Bulgari au thé vert. Lasts hours on me. Smells like autumn meadow. I like it a lot and entourage appreciates it even more. Recently Asian Green Tea from Creed uplifts my rainy, autumn mood 😉
Thank you for the list, learnt a lot about tea fragrances from this video. One fragrance missing this list IMO is Russian tea. One of the best tea fragrances.
Bvlgari eau the blanc is amazing. Its like a skin scent but i get whiffs here and there throughout the day and it lasts for more than 7-8 hours. Also one of the best for inside environment. Others are going to smell you even though you might think that its gone within the first hour. Compliment getter!! It reminds me of the musky drydown of Chanel allure homme sport eau extreme.

I need to look into more tea fragrances. The only fragrance that I have with any type of tea note is L’ombre des Merveilles and Flowerbomb. And you are right in saying that us Eastern Asians drink more green tea, especially Japanese and Koreans. I know some people drink it like they do water with their meals😁 Added: yes, I do enjoy the longer videos, especially the ones that focus on individual notes and large selections.
I have to try some from the list, TEA ESCAPE and HOO The Time are the ones that more resonate with me. my favorite is BVLGARI Homme the original, very soft but I love it! Thanks for the list Sebastian! As always a pleasure to learn more from you.
A lot of great tea fragrances out there. I could add two more from Bvlgari - The Noir (nice leathery touch) and The Rouge which I experience as a quite good longevity for a Bvlgari - very cosy for the fall/winter.
I'm still cross about the Jo Malone 'Rare Teas Collection' being discontinued. They were head and shoulders above other tea fragrances, with Midnight Black Tea being one of the best in the range. Now I've got these weird 'tonic, herbal greens & tea note' fragrances to contend with and for the most part, they leave me disappointed. I'm after a replica of tea with lemon, something well-rounded and comforting rather than sharp and astringent and mixed with too many other 'compatible' notes. Some sillage, decent longevity would be a bonus. Thank you for this video, I always learn from you. I currently have 'Qi Intensivo' by Ormonde Jayne and it's the closest thing I've found since the demise of the Jo Malone rare teas to accurately recreate the soothing and uplifting scent of tea with lemon and a bit of honey. Kahwa by Boadicea The Victorious is really interesting too and although not marketed as a 'tea scent' the name is a giveaway. Despite the strange marriage of rose and eucalyptus and despite that having nothing to do with Kashmiri Kahwa the smell is strikingly similar. The performance is very poor, which is strange for Boadicea. Disappointing.
Surprised Silver Mountain Water didn’t make the list. But Gucci Pour Homme 2 is my favorite all time. Now discontinued as we all know. Some cheapies if your views want to check out would be 78 Vintage Green and Bentley Azura. Love Remember Me from your list.
I’m not the biggest fan of a tea note, but when I like it I like a black tea, not green tea, note. Hendley Fume has a very beautiful roasted tea note. I love it in that particular fragrance.
The Assam one is inspired by Assam tea which is from the state of Assam in North East India where not everyone drinks spicy tea or with milk. Usually these variants are taken as red tea or without milk to get actual flavor. Another very prominent variant is Darjeeling tea which is also worlds famous n usually taken whiteout milk in North East. I also personally as an East Indian take tea without milk mostly. Also i think one popular tea fragrance that we dont see n this list is chai by baruti and also Tobacco vanille somewhat smells like spiced tea.
@@ThePerfumeGuy Currently they have 11 fragrances in the collection. I agree that tea is not the main player in some of them, but I can say for sure that L'Ame Slave, Aesthetic Turbulence, Sense of Humor and Secret of Success are 100% about tea.

By your descriptions I'd love to try the MemoParis, the Parfums de Nicolai and the Floraiku (there goes my next samples order...) I also love the chamomile note in perfume, it's so comforting, reassuring kind of ....As for drinking I love pure unsweetened green 🍵😊
Nice video. Tea is one of my favorite notes. There are two perfumes that I really enjoy that do not list tea as a note but I distinctly smell tea in them. They are: Lady Gaga Eau de Gaga and Arden Beauty. Both very affordable. If I want a spiced tea, I layer these over Guerlain Lui.

Zoologist's Panda, a beautiful green tea and osmanthus which dries down into a softly musky sandalwood; the vetiver makes the kettle boil nicely I find :)
I love tea fragerances my favorite one i own/ tried so far is wulong cha from nishane i got to try russian tea and few others still now with this list i have to add more to try .
Assam is a state in the northeastern part of India famous for producing black tea which explains the black tea note you get in the Berdoues. Would love to try it one day

I have a large 100mL bottle and would gladly mail out a decant just to get your feedback. It has Jasmin absolute , mate, and osmanthus absolute. I also have a large bottle of L’Occitane The Vert Au Jasmin. I saw on fragantica that a new 2020 The Vert was released but different notes are listed. Ebay has listings at crazy high prices for the older version. I should’ve guessed tea in your last video, but I remembered you had already made a tea video before. I prefer this one, though☝🏼😄. The very first tea fragrance that my mom gave me as a gift 8 years ago was Green Tea from Elizabeth Arden, simple and clean.
That EArden Green Tea is still a top fav summer fragrance to be used as a body mist.

The theme of your video is what I've been thinking about. I actually really like the Sacred Osthmanthus and the The' Noir.
My great grandma grew spearmint and chamomile, made me tea sweetened with honey 🤤😍 I should look into something cozy/soothing.

Bvlgari Pour Homme Soir & GPH II are my favorite tea frags. Stunningly fresh n beautiful!!!
State of Mind is great French perfume and tea house, all their fragrances are dedicated to tea. plus Atelier Cologne Oolang infini is good enough
I actually sampled their fragrances in Paris. I think at the time when I sampled them there were three of them I did not notice anything with Tea?

Looking for a strong pekoe tea (Lipton) or hibiscus scent. Love those two scents and always wondered why perfumeries don't use them as much.
