This is the first time I've seen anyone play fm24 on console. :)

Do you play it on PC ?
These double attacking wingback double IF 424s absolutely slaughter weak teams but suck in big matches, your fullbacks get tired out and caught out of position constantly and you hemorrhage goals after the 60-70th minute. Use that strat for the league and have a strat with double IFBd using actual defenders, a Libero, one DM and one SegVol for big matches.
Well that’s what I would have thought but the sim I know it’s a sim only showed losses to forest and Brighton so it wasn’t overly exposed to bigger sides in the league but might explain why they were knocked out in the cup.
I also tested it in standard and although Haaland wasn’t as prolific it was more balanced and they progressed further in the cups
Good tactic, 4-2-4 seems to be the meta now, a lot are virtually similar role wise
The thing I found most surprising was the base was tiki taka but it seems to be slowly becoming meta in FM24 indeed
@@FM_Console if u go on fm arena and look at the tactics table witch shows best tactics after they test them it’s all 4-2-4s, used to be 4-2-3-1, they all look the same tho
yeah I tend to create my own tactics but I thought I'd try this video out as a tester to see what the community thoughts were and if there were any tactics people wanted me to look at etc. but yes I agree the 424s on there are basicallly people trying to better the results.
I did this originally on standard but I find arena tends to be people trying slight variants to beat the top results
@@FM_Console I play console too, I’ve created a couple of my own ones, hopefully in fm25 console you can download tactics, saves watching and pausing videos lol
I know there's still a community on TH-cam for PC that like to watch TH-cam videos as well as download it but yeah I'm looking at whether I can make it a pdf download or something so its accessible for others
I've done 100s of hours on console to find the best tactic in football manager console. I got haaland 104 goals in a calendar which is insane
