      i think they are basically sister models from Hyundai and Kia. so its close enough. but between the 2000 Honda Civic i used to drive and the 1st generation Nissan Leaf i drive now its obviously that my new car had a lot more measures taken to remain cool. windows that are both tinted and smaller, more insulation....

      I agree. The insulation factor, window tint, and glass UV makeup may make a difference. Just a Caution. I rented
      a car while visiting Palm Springs California a few years back. The car, a 2020 Mustang convertible. I left a water bottle in the cup holder while touring the Palm Springs Air Museum. The sun was so bright it caused a small burn hole in the driver's seat from the magnification of the water in the bottle. It cost $248 for driver seat repairs.

    This was a no-brainer. Several years ago I was with a Realtor in Palm Springs California looking at homes for sale. She
    had a dark blue Jaguar. The temperature that day in August topped out at 118 degrees. In the 10 minutes we were inside
    a home, that car got hotter than a pistol inside. The following day, we looked at homes while using her white Lexus. The temperature that day topped out at 120 degrees. The interior was more tolerable. yes---color makes a big difference.

  • @OWK000
    @OWK000 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

    Yes! That grey car is not that even dark. Does it have any metallic in it? Metallic colors, especially the lighter ones, reflect light a little better, but metallic paint breaks down in the sun quicker and you need to repaint sooner. Gotta love the white. If you have pets, you definitely don't want a dark colored car. Don't see the attraction in black cars. They also match the color of the street in the rain. Sometimes I think the head lights on law for whenever you are running your windshield wipers was developed because of the proliferation of black cars. (I not complaining about that.)
