Uhh that sounds like a cold solder or the board is damaged. I'd have to see what it looks like.
We're never safe from leaking capacitors when it comes to vintage electronics, aren't we.
I mean the whole thing is inside a hot cabin every day. It heats up and cools down so much. Makes sense they would go out.

My ecu won’t come apart was your motherboard glued?
Door Panel Remover tool looks like a screwdriver with a notch out of it in the middle perfect for pulling those little clips out
Yea but it looks like you need to get under the button and pop out the middle and not the outside. Either way, they came out pretty easily

The voltage value on the capacitors is not important.. as long it is the same or higher than the original value.
