If you think they're great... I HIGHLY RECOMMEND a band called Dream Theater with the song called "SACRIFICED SONS" 10 x better (instruments wise) cheers
Absolutely warms my heart to see a young lady that can enjoy classic heavy metal. Makes me think there is hope for the younger generation that is being born into the new music that has no decent content lyrically speaking. I still have no idea what watching someone whip or nae nae even means, or what that Gucci song is supposed to be about. After hearing your intro, I had to subscribe. Keep up the excellent work young lady! Rock On!!
Defiantly hope for the future of metal/rock music. Check out Taj Farrant's you tube channel. Trust me you wont be disappointed. That lad is already playing music way beyond his mighty 11 year old frame :) Keep rocking.
Wow. I cant belive a little girl is this mature and professional, not to mention your amazing taste in music. Like what the heck. When i was that age I was struggling to tie my shoes. I hope my kids are just like you.
Absolutely. I was looking for this kind of comment. I have two boys. They will sit and give a Metallica song a listen...then go back to what they normally listen to.
The song was written about a time when they were going to record their first album in '83 and all of their gear was stolen. More specifically a Marshall Amplifier than belonged to James that his mother had bought him before she died of cancer.
Great to see youth of today loving Metallica. Followed them since mid 80s and are my fav band ever. Greetings from Cork Ireland. Bought my first album in 1988 when I was 10 - “ and justice for all” . I listen to them everyday- greatest ever. Kirk is one of the greatest lead guitarists ever. When he is on form he is spin chilling.
I have no words to even describe how mind blowing and incredible that little girl is. You've touched my soul. Thank you so much. Don't ever change or stop.
I watch a lot of reaction channels and you all have a great approach. I love that parents take the time to talk about the meaning of songs. You both are really cool, keep it up.

How absolutely adorable the 2 of you are together. I will watch anyone react to my favorite band of all time. METALLICA!!! Just subbed to your channel, keep up the good reactions!!! Peace to both of you and STAY SAFE!!!!!!
As a guitarist, I considered this song was one of the first recorded instances of Kirk, catching lightning in a bottle. He's probably done that more consistently than most anyone. I've always enjoyed him regardless of complaints.
@@EzzieK Well, I just now got the notification for this. You're welcome, I would've loved to have been able to do Metallica reactions when I was a kid listening to their CD/Cassette samples when Wal-mart still did that.
Came across this when trying to learn Metallica on guitar. I have to say, I’m massively impressed with the whole video - song, content, editing!! I did see a comment about “dialling back on the editing”. While it’s true that sometimes less is more, you’re learning your skills and putting them to use in this video. Well done I say. Pass that on to your Dad as well and your Mum too. To be honest, I wish I could do some of the editing skills you have used in this video. Marks out of 10............11!
Kirk Hammett is why I got a wah pedal. In fact Metallica is the main reason I learned to play guitar. "Nothing else matters" was the first song I learned.
Hi everyone! . I have been reading all of the comments and I try to keep up to answer them all but it is getting hard now there's soooooo many. I love this and I wanted to thank everyone for commenting and joining me on my channel. My mum helps me with my comments and they take a long time. I have read some comments about the sound on my videos but I don't have the equipment to make it sound better, sorry. I can't keep up with requests but I do remember lots of them. I will do less effects and try to make it sound better. I really like learning about the life of the bands and the whys from everyone. I like how people have different views on songs and many ways of explaining what the song is about. My mum will be going back to work very soon when we are allowed out so I will have to change to doing my videos somewhere else in the house as that's my mum's office. My channel is not monetized so I am going to start a Patreon page to try and get some support so I can buy a microphone, camera and so I can pay for my editing apps. 07:20 Mummy Loves Kirk LOL I would be quite interested to know which period of Metallica is your favourite. And how that changes. I like the modern stuff, even though many don't, for example. Which instrument do you want to play? Really happy another has joined the Metallica family, sadly my son isn't really a fan. Good video :)
It was written at a low point in their lives after their gear got stolen but it is a song about depression and suicide. It has great meaning to me, it still brings me to tears sometimes hearing the words, but it reminds me of how far I have come from the days this song could have been written about me....Rock on Ezzie and mum!!
You know what... I wish my mom could take me under her wings when I was a little kid to watch any of Metallica songs just like this great mother up there did with her beloved daughter... Unfortunately this will never be possible to me, cause my mother past away a long time ago by cancer. But I know and feel deep down inside that she is with me somehow, I do Believe it! That song has let more people that arrived at that point in there life to know that they were not alone. Folks that may say no one can understand the way I feel. Song has saved more folks that thought perhaps they were to damaged to go on.
Kirk shreds. His best is his melodic, slower solos. I've been to several Metallica concerts and been within 5 feet of Kirk shredding. Dudes hands are lightning fast when he's in it

my biggest issue with St Anger was the lack of solos. they have arguably one of the best guitarists alive and you'd never know it listening to that album.
This is a song about suicide and how the person contemplating this feels inside - James was feeling very down after Metallica's equipment was stolen. Extremely powerful lyrics like most of James' work. Oh, and please consider expanding your choice of music to include Ronnie James Dio and Might I suggest Children of the Sea, and Stargazer to start? It seems you're also a guitarist, so please check out Bark At The Moon by Ozzy Osbourne (The guitarist is Jake E Lee).
