Thanks so much for taking the time to watch the video. What would you like to see me cook in the thermie? Let me know. If you need any help or advice, please shout up. I'm always happy to help
I'm a bit surprised that 20 minutes was enought to bring everything to a boil and steam those giant meatballs all the way through! I'll have to give this one a go. Thanks for finding the good recipes for us! :)
To be honest, I was too. When you take the lid off the Varoma tray, the heat in the dish is very, very hot. 20 minutes definitely prompted me to reach for the probe. Happy to find the best recipes for you all. Thanks very much for watching and for taking the time to leave a comment. All the best 🙋🏻♂️😀RTF
Aww thanks so much! Phil the thermie has never been called my sidekick before. I guess you’re right though! Thanks so much for your lovely kind words, I really appreciate it. Take care too 🙋🏻♂️😀RTF
@@RichieTheFoodie Elfie (my thermy) loves Phil he inspires her to try new things lol. Do you have Thermomix Recipe Community? You need to look up and try "Meatballs in BBQ Sauce" made this tonight and it's DELISIOUS! I hope you can get it, next week I will be making this meatball dish
Hello there. Yes indeed. When I cook meatballs without the tm6, I always brown my meatballs in a pan like you say. I was going to add parmesan to this recipe but I forgot! Thanks very much for your interaction, it really helps my channel 🙋🏻♂️😀RTF
Good stuff Richie, I will definitely be giving this a go with a few more Italian herbs in the Meatballs. I think taking a blow torch to them may add to the texture too..
Much obliged buddy! Yes, nothing stopping you from adding more ingredients. The only downside in steaming meatballs is that you miss that lovely pan fried colour. They still taste great though! Thanks very much for watching 🙋🏻♂️😀RTF
Ay up Richie. Good to hear from you matey. I hope you’re keeping well! I really appreciate your loyal support as always. TH-cam certainly isn’t easy for us small creators. Yours and others interactions really help a lot, so thanks 🙋🏻♂️😀
Thank you for an other amazing video! My question is the preparing time. Is it shorter than regulars cooking? I see in de the recepy website you have preparation time and cooking time? Is it only the preparation time that is needed for you to be actively be cooking? I was wondering if it would shorter than traditional cooking for time saving. Thank you again!
Hi there. Thanks so much for the feedback, I really appreciate it and it helps my channel a lot! The cooking time including the sauce is about 30 minutes. As for the prep, It depends how fast you can form meatballs 😀. I’d give yourself 15 minutes to do that. I hope this helps. Thanks again for your support 🙋🏻♂️😀RTF
@@RichieTheFoodie thanks for the feedback! So in total 45 min in total for the dish? Thank you for taking the time to answer me! Subscribed on your channel!
@@boogernosetv Yes, I’d give yourself an hour to be safe. You could prep your meatballs ahead and leave them in the fridge if you wanted To. Thanks very much for subscribing! Welcome to the club. Let me know how your meatballs turn out 🙋🏻♂️😀RTF

Here in Italy we make meatballs in a similar way (in a frying pan) , but we do add parmesan cheese to the meatballs: have a go!😀

How about these meatballs fried after varoma cooking? Could be on airfryer?
