Hi Dave! Thank you for listening and taking time to comment! This song does bring back memories for sure! And I also thought for acoustic guitar players it might be a song folks might want to play if they knew what the chords were. I hope all is well for you, Dave! - Glenn
Always loved this song .. My sis and I went to see the movie as young adoring teenagers. Great cover Glenn .. ♫•*¨✿♬ .. the early Beatles had some lovely music. Thanks for bringing back a nostalgic memory.
Thanks Julane! I have similar memories. I, too, can remember going to see the movie with my brothers and sisters. It sure was an exciting time. Thanks for watching and for your kind words! Hope all is well. - Glenn
Thank you Martha! How nice to hear from you! Yes, this song is like a time machine to take some of us back to the mid-60s. Hope all is well for you! - Glenn

Wow. That is awesome. I didn't know that was by The Beatles. Did John Lennon and Paul McCartney write that song together? I remember some of the popular Beatles songs, such as let it be, imagine, and Eleanor Rigby. Have you ever done Eleanor Rigby, by The Beatles? Just asking. I also remember their song yesterday.
Hi Amanda, Thanks for listening and for your kind comments. I believe that Paul McCartney actually wrote this one, but he and John Lennon made a deal early in the Beatles that all songs written by either one of them would be attributed to both of them. So, it's Lennon-McCartney. It's a fun song from when I was young, only 16 in 1964. I have covered their song, "Yesterday" and several others, but not Eleanor Rigby. That song seems too dark and creepy to me that I have never felt comfortable covering that song. You know, "Fr. McKenzy wiping the dirt from his hands as he walks from the grave; no one was saved..." Not for me. I have done a bunch of other Beatles songs... I hope you are doing well, Amanda. I am fine. - Glenn
@@glennwillow5124 you're absolutely right. Eleanor Rigby is a little too dark for me. It's a neat piece of music, but a little too dark. Anyhow, I am doing well. I hope you're doing fine too. Glad to hear you're doing well also. Saturday night at work was really tough. I'll begin my shift sitting in a small area near the kitchen known as the back. The place where I was sitting, was cramped, uncomfortable, very small, and not at all safe. Luckily, I was able to move back out to my original spot where I sit to roll silverware.
@@glennwillow5124 definitely. I started out my shift near the kitchen this past Saturday because every single table in the restaurant was full. Luckily though, as I said, I was able to be moved back to my original spot. I did well at work tonight, but it was busy. by the way, keep the content coming. The covers you were doing are phenomenal, and your guitar and voice skills are excellent.
Great sounding guitar cover and lovely vocal and harmonies Glenn. Very nicely done and a big like from me.
Thank you Kenneth! Much appreciated! I'm so glad you feel this came out well! Be well out there! - Glenn
