A few episodes ago someone commented that this season in Morocco is boring. Now I am wondering how boring his life must have been if he can’t enjoy and appreciate this amazing episode. Way to go Noraly……. Stay safe🥰
I am blown away by how well Noraly captured the scenes in a desolate area. Her words were few during rest breaks, but characterized the feeling of what its like to be there. Call me goofy but I wish I could have been there to experience it. Really appreciate the little details she provides like fuel management, how the rear tank works, the capacity of the fuel bag, the type of food she brought, water supply, etc. The drone footage is absolutely AWE-INSPIRING. In its own way, the area is as amazing to see as the Andes. Also appreciated her detailed update at beginning on the area conditions and hazards. Thank you so much Noraly. Peace ❤❤

A lone tree in a vast landscape provides Noraly with shelter - incredible, breathtaking drone footage! The deceptive allure of a desert mirage like water on the horizon is truly a bizarre experience, so mesmerizing too! I witnessed that for several days whilst traversing the Sahara in Sudan decades ago. Mirages play deceptive mind tricks! Noraly, your levels of self awareness, confidence and courage to undertake this trip - 600kms of desert - all by yourself is remarkable and awe-inspiring. Kudos. You're an absolute legend!!!
I am speechless indeed. To have the courage to do a solo trip on a desert like this requires an extraordinary person. That drone circle in the middle of the dessert while you having your break to eat was mesmerising. Indeed you are a very very unique human being Noraly and I thank you for doing these videos. Personally you enrich me beyond you can imagine. It is crazy you don't have more subscribers and also that so far no one of those big famous Doco channels have hired you. If someone is the perfect host for such a channel is you. Amazing. You are just amazing and I am writing this in Australia at 1:30am on Saturday because I always wait for your episode to be upload, watch it and then go to sleep happy.

She is for real, reality. Yes she has connections. No team is following her to help him like a tv show. I have watched Noraly for many seasons. She’s alone in her endeavors.
That drone shot of you having lunch under the only tree within sight in any direction is fabulous! You are unbelievably courageous. Best wishes from Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania.😊
Not only are you an inspiration to all "adventure riders" But your "can do" attitude is truly an inspiration to women and girls everywhere. There are many men, myself included who wouldn't do what you do. Stay safe on your wonderful adventures. I think when you are my age you will live with no regrets. No " I wish I had "or "should have". Living life to the fullest. I am in awe.
I think this episode reaally showcased Noraly's confidence in "Alaska". To set out across the desert isolation took a good amount of trust in her equipment.
She has an InReach so she can call for help. It is a satellite device. You pay a monthly service and when you hit the button it let's them know you need help and sends your GPS coordinates. They will also text you through it asking about the issue and giving you information. Using it you are dealing with inreach's center and they call local (to you) authorities who do the rescue. I wonder who they would call in Morocco?
Yes, one has to respect honda! Right from the CG engine that became the template for virtually all low displacement air cooled bikes in the third world....made in China now! .....to Alaska now! Reliability in its true definition.
A moroccan American here who's learning about my birth country more in your videos! Super quality TH-camr!! and thank you for visiting and showing the Beautiful peaceful morocco 🇲🇦
As a Moroccan who looks and speaks like the people there, I doubt that I can do this ride alone. Your drone video under the tree is unforgettable; it's by far my favorite one. Respect!
Same for me. Born and raised in the anti Atlas Mountains. At some point a was scared for her! She is absolutely amazing! What a strong mindset of an adventurer. All respect
@@justinsmith4562 What if something goes wrong? What if your motorcycle breaks? What if a snake or a scorpion bites you or you get lost in that desert... All these thoughts come to mind when thinking of such trip. However, not for Noraly and that's why she is an inspiration!
@@justinsmith4562 If you take the paved road from Esmara to Dakhla, you will encounter a police checkpoint every 50 km. They will register your name and inform the next police checkpoint for your safety. Noraly took the most dangerous military road and ignore all the checkpoints. To be honest, I was also scared for Noraly's life because this is a disputed area full of hidden mines and without any phone signal...
@@adamkomot179 I have took that route and it is not true. There is a checkpoint every 100 km or more and definitely not 50km and to be honest the dispute would not cause any physical harm as she mentioned there is a huge wall which stands to protect anyone passing on the other side of it
me too, I'm also Moroccan and I would love to ride through the desert in the south of morocco, but I would not dare to cross the desert alone. So many thing that could wrong you run out of fuel, you get stuck in sand, or your motorcycle breaks, anything bad happens and if there is no phone network in the area, that's a death sentence, just a matter of days until you run out of water.
I am now showing this to my wife who is also Moroccan and my daughter. We live in the U.S. This is amazing. Will share it with my entire family back in Morocco!! The COURAGE you have. The COURAGE. Amazing.
there is an archeological site somewhere around smara called "laghchiwat" where you can find drawings of Giraffes and ZEbras and also of the Amazigh alphabet "Tifinagh" dating back to thousands of years when that region was a savana. There should be a commemorative plaque on that lone tree with the inscription, "Itchy Boots dined alone in the shade of this tree in March 2023." An unbelievable journey made believable by an intrepid young woman traveling alone with her trusty bike, Alaska. Thank you once again for taking us along.
one desert, one women, one bike, one drone, one tree. This is why we love thee. You go girl, live your dreams ,we'll live them with ya. Much love from New york
My mom and her parents came to the USA to live from Friesland back in the day on a ship 🚢. And back then that was considered a BIG accomplishment 😊 Now seeing a Dutch girl traveling the world at such a young age is beyond cool. Her parents have to be proud to see their daughter doing more in life than 99% of most people never see their own country. Thanks for taking us along on your journeys And a BIG shout out to her parents for raising such a good human being. Because she has a big impact on the world 🌎 when interacting with others. Proud to be Dutch

I am a Malaysian. My ancestors on my mother’s side are from Morocco. I have always wanted to visit Morocco and now after another amazing ‘tour’ with Noraly , I must go. In Sya Allah.
I am American and am a person who requires a lot of alone time but you take it to extremes beyond my comprehension! I admire your bravery and determination!
I am a Moroccan citizen and I actually envy you while enjoying that stunning scenery.I really cherish your determination and bravery . Keep that everlasting beautiful smile of yours and wish you a safe ride.
You're an inspiration now..I hope you're able to video some of your adventures and tell your story. I'm so happy you're in a better place right now. Know you're not alone, depression is no joke. I get it!
Just to let you know that your comment did not get lost! Good luck with your plan and some day you will enjoy life again! As you will find out - there are lots of nice people out there. Often we only realize this, once we need help. All the very best from Europe!
You know you don't need to complete or achieve great things to be happy. Just do what you like, even if life can get boring or meaningless sometimes that doesn't matter. You can live a "boring" life and live happy, for this you only need to be content with what you have and enjoy the moment.
You're not alone my friend, many of us have been going through something very similar. Yes, Noraly is therapy for me too. She has such an innocent and ever eager to explore attitude, it's infectious.
Noraly is always spinning the positive. Love that! "Oh look, a tree! A pile of rocks!" The very absence of anything is quite something. Thanks Itchy Boots for always bringing great content even when you have to make something out of literally nothing. Morocco, you are an interestingly beautiful place.
I am Moroccan and I’m happy because you visit my country and my city Dakhla we have a beautiful beach and a cool weather there ,welcome to Moroccan Sahara 🇲🇦
I’ve said before and I’ll say it again, WOW I’m so jealous. Noraly’s multitasking is wonderful, the camera work, commentary and all the other skills make her so special.
As someone who has traveled in the deep desert I think this video captures the experiance magnificently. And as someone who has watched the entire Itchy Boots catalog I beleive this episode really shows what Noraly is all about. Although she loves her interactions with the people she meets her joy when experiancing the great wild wide open spaces seems to resonate to her very core. As Carly Simon said, "Nobody does it better."
I'm Moroccan and I'm so proud of you, cause to do a solo trip in the middle of nowhere is not easy for everyone but you are a brave and extraordinairy woman. Welcome to Visite me at Marrakech in your way back😍
The only reason I can watch some of these incredible videos is the fact that if I’m seeing it, you must have arrived safely at your destination. What you are doing is incredible and being able to share it is an honor. Stay safe. Thank you for the privilege of being a part of your journey.

Super remote spots like deserts are incredible for their beauty and solitude. It takes a lot of careful planning and common sense as well as skill and perseverance, but us viewers all know Noraly has plenty of these qualities - and more!!
I’m a retired news editor living a short walk from the Atlantic Ocean in coastal NJ, and thankfully, even as I age, my curiosity remains as insatiable as ever. Thank you, Noraly, for taking me on this ride with you and showing me the beauty of so many cultures and lands.
Watching you just sit under a tree and eat your lunch in the middle of the desert shows that you are exude confidence and courage. I am more impressed every year.
OH, WOW - This is an adventure of mega proportions. Traveling such great distances with no infrastructure but only relying on what you are carrying with you it is epic!!! Finding the one and only little tree in the desert to stop to have a rest and little something to eat, incredible! Then reaching a town where there is no room for our Itchy Boots, unimaginable! Noraly you had my respect before but now I am in awe of you and your spirit of adventure. GO ITCHY BOOTS, GO ... 🏍🏍🏍

When I saw your drone shots when you have been sitting alone had your food it was like desert lioness sitting like majestic and it was awesome and unbelievable drone shots almost like Hollywood movies seen . spectacular view from the sky but that location is terrific and terrible to watch.
I suppose that it was no longer the LONELIEST tree anymore having SOMEONE spent, the time even for a MOMENT and to appreciate her VALUE of existence......
Hi Noraly...I remember when you first arrived in the USA (to San Diego) from Mexico on your way up to Alaska...I live in San Diego & I had assumed that you would just take a scenic drive up the coast along Pacific Coast Highway for at least maybe the trip up to Los Angeles...instead, after spending about a week here in San Diego getting Alaska serviced, you immediately headed west out deep into the Anza Borrego Desert in the late summer, when it was still exceedingly hot out there, all by yourself (something not too many local people, who know the very well, would ever venture to do)...&, now here you are in North Africa, all alone in the middle of an even much deeper, almost completely barren desert 🏜...you really are amazingly courageous woman!
Thank you Noraly for taking us with you over this vast and incredible Moroccan desert. To me, the real hero of this episode was that true and trusted friend, "Alaska" which, despite losing a chain guard, just kept on going when to do otherwise would have been disastrous!
Not going to lie, I got chills seeing those drone shots of you sitting there eating and the vast emptiness of where you're at. Absolutely incredible. Stay safe!
Incredible scene with the drone. 1 solitary tree and you shading with Alaska. I always look forward to watching your video. Morocco looks amazing. Stay safe.
My heart has been skipping beats all through this one. That moment where Noraly sits under that lonely little tree while her drone flies off into the wide blue yonder was so poignant. I loved her little chat out there in the middle of nowhere-- jusy Noraly, Alaska, and that brave little tree!! Dramatic!!
Amazing ride, Noraly and so glad you made it safely through the danger zone. The shot of you sitting under the lonely little tree with Alaska beside you was a dream shot for an amateur photog like me, and would make a perfect magazine cover. That one picture speaks volumes. Thanks and congrats for this episode, and stay safe. Dan ✌️🏍🇨🇦
Within Morocco there are no dangerous areas, but the only danger is its deepening in the desert away from the small towns and the roads linking them, especially since she travels alone and if her bike breaks down, it will take time to find it.
I do realize that Itchy won’t ever see this message but, maybe if enough people wish her a very happy birthday today, she might see some of the well wishes! Happy birthday young lady and hope you have a wonderful and safe adventure this season!! 🎂🎈🎉

Noraly you have given us so many beautiful drone shots over spectacular terrain but I must say your drone footage of you, Alaska and that sole tree in the desert was in my opinion the most dramatic thus far! AWESOME Gracias!!
It's difficult to capture the superlatives that appropriately reflect the courage, determination, and sense of adventure embodied in one very remarkable Dutch woman.

Seeing our country through your perspective is a unique experience that I have never encountered before. Warm Moroccan greetings to you 🇲🇦🇲🇦🇲🇦🇲🇦🇲🇦🇲🇦
DUDE RIGHT!?!? I found myself rewinding (dating myself with that term) to watch it again and again! The empty beauty of the desert is simply stunning, and yet seeing the swirling color changes...it's just so beautiful in it's own way.
I love the desert music with the drone video of you riding across the endless sand. Very effective in showing how desolate the area is. And then when you were resting and eating, when the drone went way out and you were just a spec in the sand - wow! And how you found that one single tree in the middle of nowhere to park under is remarkable. Perhaps you encountered a mirage where you thought it was water. Loved the camels!
The phenomenon when you see water in the desert that isn't there is called a mirage (in Indonesia we call it "fatamorgana". It's kind of a reflection caused by layers of air with the temperature difference. The drone footage is incredibly spectacular. It's a real treat for us Thanks Stay safe Noraly 🙏

As a Moroccan who looks and speaks like the people there, I doubt that I can do this ride alone. Your drone video under the tree is unforgettable; it's by far my favorite one. Respect!

An unbelievable journey made believable by an intrepid young woman traveling alone with her trusty bike, Alaska. Thank you once again for taking us along.
Same!!! That was magnificent actually when she captured it with her drone like how remarkable!
When she stoped near to the tree, in the midle of desert...feels like a peaceful moment. Astonishing drone scene by the way! Regards from Brazil

When I saw your drone shots when you have been sitting alone had your food it was like desert lioness sitting like majestic and it was awesome and unbelievable drone shots almost like Hollywood movies seen . spectacular view from the sky but that location is terrific and terrible to watch.
Noraly found the lonliest tree in the world, and kept it company for a little while.
@18:07 a single tree standing alone in all that vast bareness is such a sight to behold.
Noraly, Alaska, and a tree. Just awesome.
Not going to lie, I got chills seeing those drone shots of you sitting there eating and the vast emptiness of where you're at. Absolutely incredible. Stay safe!

Within Morocco there are no dangerous areas, but the only danger is its deepening in the desert away from the small towns and the roads linking them, especially since she travels alone and if her bike breaks down, it will take time to find it.
