Our first few days in Siem Reap were filled with exploration. We decided to explore the city on foot, as we believe it's the best way to discover secret treasures that might go unnoticed if we were in a car or on a motorbike. On top of our to-do list was finding new shorts for Sebastian.
So, our mission for the day was to locate the perfect pair! We also made a stop at one of Siem Reap's largest convenience stores, which turned out to be a haven for any tourist or expat craving familiar snacks from back home (in our case, cheese was the ultimate temptation).
During our stay in Siem Reap, we booked a room at The Long Night. This accommodation offers various options for travellers, ranging from affordable hostel rooms to spacious double rooms equipped with a large TV and a delightful view. Plus, the icing on the cake was for sure the pool. Especially with the hot weather!
    Cheers,
    Sebastian and Zara

It definitely is lovely. More laid back and easier to navigate compared to Phnom Penh. Also a very nice place for expats, a lot of interesting foreigners make up a fine community. 👍😉

"Reap" does NOT mean "defeat" but it implies defeat. "Reap" means "flat" or to "to flatten". Siem Reap literally means "to flatten Siam."

Riep = flatten, lay down. Glad to see the less touristy side of the city. Thx for the video.

literally, 'reap' means defeated. we use it daily. Like Jom Reap sour means "Hello" when you say to the elder while bow down placing your self lower.
When you humble, people admire your humility and they will call you "Reap" Teap. So Reap means to lower, to put to be humble, to defeat.
have a good time lovely couple!
