I will always remember this movie as not only being funny as all hell but also for giving Isla Fisher a big break. She steals so many scenes in this film.
She's the only reason I actually remember this movie.
She pulled off the crazy cute girl very well. I was a little disappointed when I found out that that was body double in the nude scene, but I can respect her not wanting to do it.
I remember crushing hard on her after this then it broke my mind finding out she's married to Borat 😅
@@OrderOfTheGashHonestly, that just made her cooler in my eyes. Lol She married Borat-it means I’ve got a shot if they ever divorced. Lol
"She's like a kid at Toys R Us!" 😂😂😂
"Your painting was a gift Todd. I'm taking it with me."
That line always cracks me up.
Gotta agree with everyone saying Old School. Classic Vince Vaughn, Will Ferrell, and Luke Wilson
WE'RE GOING STREAKING!!
@@misterkite IN THE QUAD
The STARSKY & HUTCH remake is worth checking out, too.
The Master of Puppets scene when they kidnap all the pledges forever lives rent free in my head
@@misterkite YOU'RE MY BOY BLUE!
Swingers is pretty much the origin of Vince Vaugh and Jon Favreau.
Old School is another comedy that's pretty much the same style as Wedding Crashers and a couple others that were all made around the same time period.
For about 5 months in 1996 swingers was hugh. Everybody was quoting the movie, listening to the music. Then bam everyone got tired of it, and noone mentioned it again. Until now. Yah watch swingers
Rudy came out 3 years earlier.
Vaughn and Favreau are both in that too.
Yes I hope they watch Swingers, it's amazing
Swingers was true Vaugh being Vaugh. Have not seen it in a long time and no idea if it holds up but was a great little movie so under rated. Jon Favreau was great as well and you can see how it led to all the success he would do later.
Yes yes yes!!! Swingers!! Old School is mostly cancelled nowadays but it's awesome too. The great thing about old school is that gets Vince Vaughn with the other Wilson brother. Considered starsky and hutch too.
"SHUT YOUR MOUTH WHEN YOU'RE TALKING TO ME!" A common phrase in my normal day to day. With The Other Guys, you two are going through some top comedies!
I used it as a ring tone when it came out, or it might have been text tone, oh! And that line from team America, "you have balls, I like balls"
I actually crashed a wedding last year at the Knickerbocker Hotel in Chicago. There's a "crystal ballroom" that Playboy used to use back in the day that I wanted to see when I was staying at the hotel. They were setting up for a wedding so I asked if I could pop in and snag a few pictures. They let me, then they let me use their photo booth. Then I met the father of the bride and he told me to stop back for a drink. I went up to my room, got dressed, came back down & partied. It was a huge wedding and it was really nice. A lot of fun too!
Did you close some ass??
"MOM! THE MEATLOAF!"
Wedding Crashers has always been one of my favoritie comedies! So many great characters. The story arc, although predictable, is solid. Some of the most quotable one-liners ever. Just a solid all around funny movie. Glad to see a good reaction to it.
Ever since I first watched this, 90% of the time my Mother calls me I've answered with "MA, THE MEATLOAF" haha.
FUCK!
Bradley Cooper throwing his tie over his shoulder before charging at Owen Wilson is one of my favorite acting choices ever. I am not even sure why I find it so funny and perfect for the character - it just feels right on every level.
Old School (2003) is another classic with Vince Vaughn y’all should check out!
Yeah Old School definitely a classic.. Will Farrell is hilarious in it too..
They gotta start doing the unrated versions of these films, like Old School, Weddjng Crashers, the American Pie quadlogy, etc...
You probably have already been told but Isla Fisher, "Gloria", is actually Australian. And - She's married to Sacha Baron Cohen - A.K.A. Borat. Imagine having dinner with them? 😂
Not married any longer
"You tell that mean ocean!"
Love Christopher Walken in Wedding Crashers. He's strange as usual, but very supportive of his children, even Todd after being encouraged to embrace what Todd enjoys.
Stolen Valor is often only a crime if they profit from it. But it’s always morally reprehensible.
It depends on which law was in effect: 2005 or 2013.
In which case it’s fraud they are being charged with.
@@walker1812 not exactly. For instance, it isn’t fraudulent for me to write an autobiography wherein I make up fantastical exploits that I didn’t actually do. I would then profit from the sales (assuming I sold any).
So it isn’t fraudulent to exaggerate your own exploits in every context - but perhaps if those exaggerations were military related, then it’s a different story.
There is no law that says you absolutely must tell the truth about yourself in all contexts where there is a financial element.
Yeah I served six years in the Army and this the only thing I didn't like about this movie. It's just sickening seeing anything referencing stolen valor. I knew three people in my own unit who got purple hearts and what they had to go through to get one..two are double amputees and one is in a wheelchair.Otherwise, Awesome movie!
@@bigdream_dreambigthe 2005 law was ruled as unconsitutional.
This movie is perfectly cast, perfectly written, and perfectly executed. In short, it’s one of the funniest movies ever in my opinion.😂
Top to bottom perfect.
This and Dodgeball, I can watch over and over.
I have never laughed harder in a theater than this movie, i know nearly every line. It is peak Vaughn and Wilson, and peak comedy for the 2000's. The whole cast just killed their roles and it came together to make a piece of film magic.
About Wilson’s wow: It’s an acting tic of his. He naturally says it as a go-to reaction. He says it in tons of films. I think he says it a couple times in this. It’s just so natural you don’t notice most of the time (like I said, it’s a really normal thing for him so it feels natural until you’re looking for it)
The break up is a great Vince Vaughn movie. Also with Jennifer Aniston, Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn did another movie called the internship, which is also hysterical.
Oh no, The Break Up is the most horrible movie ever! Who wants to sit and watch a horrible breaking up couple fight?? That's the worst idea ever!
Takes me back. How everyone suddenly started saying "Erroneous!" after this movie.
This is one of the movies I can watch over, and over again.
Vince Vaughn was in very serious roles early in his career, so it was a 180 degree reversal that he switched to comedy, but he obviously found his stride in comedies. "Four Christmases" with Vince and Reese Witherspoon is a good one for you guys to watch since its Christmas time.
If you guys haven’t reacted to it before and want to see more Vince Vaughn, you should check out Swingers from 1995. It was an indie movie written by Jon Favreau that kind of launched him and Vince into starring actors. It was also one of Doug Liman’s first films. It’s super funny and kind of established Vince Vaughn’s film persona as being fast talking and funny.
Yep, Swingers, for sure.
@@heyheyjk-la For a long time this was the movie I showed all my sad mope friends trying to get over a breakup. Nothing hits harder than seeing yourself in a character in a comedy. The fact it’s based on Jon’s and Vince’s friend group at the time just makes it funnier that this is an exaggerated version of a real story and what their weekly routine was.
Here's another vote for "Swingers."
That whole scene at the dining room table had the theater dying. That grandma was freaking hilarjous. 😂😂😂 Movie was absolutely perfectly cast top to bottom. Even Dwight Yoakam's short scene when the wife takes her pills. *"Yeah, go comatose for me, baby."*
There was another movie that had that grandma rapping, I'm not sure what it was. The Wedding Singer maybe?
THAT'S WHO THAT WAS!!! Thank you! Lol
@@3DJapanyou are correct , she was known as the rapping granny. That old lady was so amazing. And yes it’s the same old lady.
Dark hair Rachel Mcadams is such a lovely sight
The actor who plays the priest is Henry Gibson, was in movies and a very popular TV comedy show Rowan & Martin ‘s Laugh-In. Goldie Hawn was also on that TV show.
"Delivery Man" is an under appreciated gem. It has a great blend of humor and heart and lets Vince Vaughn show some of his acting range. It also has a great supporting cast, especially Colbie Smulders and Chris Pratt.
Great to see this getting a reaction - as others have said, the dinner scene is one of MANY highlights, Isla Fisher is a nutty joy to watch throughout, and Vince Vaughn is at his fast-talking best. Endlessly re-watchable!
Isla Fisher, Rachel McAdams and Jane Seymour 😍
The man playing the priest is the great Henry Gibson, a comedy legend from Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In and tons of stuff after that.
Not sure if you’ve seen Old School, but that’s where a lot of people (including myself) started loving Vince Vaughn
The look he gave after she said "Shut you're mouth when you're talking to me" was priceless.
Vince Vaughns "Why....Why are you yelling at me?" to the little kid who wanted a bike KILLLS me everytime. Thats exactly how I am with kids lmao.
Gloria's "Because I'll find you." was so good
For Stolen Valor to be a crime, the fraudulent claim has to get you money, property, or other tangible benefits. Drinks at a wedding may be a stretch for that.
"You shut your mouth when you're talking to me" is my all time favorite movie quote
6:45 I went to a wedding that was on the parents vineyard property, had to pass the dressage arena to reach parking. There were multiple "houses" on the property, a creek going through and the bride road up in a carriage to the theme song from "the man from snowy river".
Old School is definitely a must see with Vince Vaughn and Will Farrell.. it also stars Luke Wilson, which is Owen Wilson's brother.. it's a classic..
That was a movie I had to turn off in the middle of because it was so bad
@@nsasupporter7557 Old School is hilarious, but humor is subjective..
@@BB13131313 they’re both subjective 🙄
@@skyeslaton3435 um… ok, but Old School was still a horrible movie. And what you said was not the reason it was horrible, why do butt hurt people like you always automatically assume things?? It would be better if you asked why I didn’t like it instead of just assuming and saying “why I didn’t like it” 🥴
Old School was just a bad movie! bad acting was part of the reason it was bad yes
This is one of, if not my favorite comedy of all time. Vince Vaughn is just amazing.
Four Christmases is a great one with Vince Vaughn alongside a host of notable actors. There are a ton of other ones that are worth checking out but that one fits the season.
Couldn't agree more. Great Vince Vaughn movie, and a great time of year to watch it!
I was at the Australian premiere for this movie. Asked Owen Wilson for a photo, he ignored me to speak to a couple of young lasses (can't really blame him). Isla Fisher stopped, grabbed my camera & pulled me in close for a selfie with her.
That made me a life-long fan of hers. She was so friendly & just amazing. I still have a schoolboy crush on her.
I saw this in theaters...I have never laughed so hard in my life! The dinner scene, night scene I could not breath and I completely forgot about the painting!
Thanks to Simone for laughing, rather than gasping in horror, at the caddishness. That's the correct response. :D
Todd is one of the best few lined characters ever
When Simone said "I thought it was going somewhere else, but like, maybe that's too progressive." and George said "Pegging?" and Simone said "Yeah." I nearly died laughing.
Was looking for this comment. 🤣
Fred Claus is a really underrated Vince Vaughn movie in my opinion. Fun Christmas story, decent jokes, surprising amount of sincerity and heart. I'd love to see you two tackle that one. Perfect time of year for it too.
I gave a toast at my brother's wedding. A few others had already gone so the background noise was distracting but when I stood up it suddenly got really quiet and I had the whole room. I looked around, and said, "Hello, I'm Johnny Cash." It got a good laugh from everybody. But I played it straight and sincere after that. Sometimes you just need to watch the atmosphere and say what comes to mind.
Old School is a powerhouse of comedic actors and is probably my favourite. Will Farrell and Vince Vaughn are phenomenal with the rest of the cast.
"cuz I'd find you" is my favorite line.
Owen Wison’s wows became part of his thing in his debut in Bottle Rocket (1996). It’s a thing in his dialog in almost every other movie at least once.
If you want to watch more of Vince Vaugh, watch The Breakup. He’s both funny, but it’s also in a serious, real life story so it creates this tension which gives it a very different and complex feel
What's wrong with you? That's the most horrible movie ever! In what world is sitting and watching a bickering couple fight anything but pure torture?
Four Christmas's is another Vince Vaughn movie thats hilarious, also perfect for this time of year too! lol
The break up is a great Vince Vaughn movie. Delivery man is pretty heart warming.
“You shut your mouth when you’re talking to me!”
It is easier than you'd think. Both families are meeting the other for first time so they just assume someone is from the other family when wondering who they are.
This and Mean Girls are my two favourite roles by Rachel McAdams.
The blonde in the beginning of the movie is Rebecca De Mornay. First time I saw her was in Risky Business(1983), which stars Tom Cruise. It was his breakout role.
Other great Vince Vaughn movies...Old School, Be Cool, The Internship, Starsky And Hutch, The Break-up, Couples Retreat, Delivery Man, and Four Christmases.
An ex and I once crashed a wedding, we were just leaving a wedding we were invited too and happened upon another wedding with open bar….we just couldn’t help ourselves
Swinger’s obviously iconic but “Return to Paradise” is a hidden gem that Vince Vaughn gets to show his range.
One of the all time classic comedies. I have prob seen this movie 20 times and only recently found out Bradley Coopers character wasn't named Zack haha.
I crashed a couple of weddings in the Roaring Fork Valley (Aspen area). I also worked manymanymany such parties with the decorators, the food & drink, and the hardware staff (tents, tables, glassware, silverware, etc). You'd be surprised how many such parties take place in high-priced areas and how little crossover there is between different crowds; The Bass Pro Shops owners wedding is going to have a different crowd than Eisner's son's wedding, which is going to have a different crowd from a Russian oligarchs wedding etc.
There's a compilation of every time Owen Wilson says "wow" starting with Bottle Rocket and including Zoolander and Meet the Parents.
2:03 I have spent years says "Shut your mouth when you're talkin' to me!" as a joke because of this movie. 🤣
I wonder if Simone even knows that the OMG meter is there. I love it and I love that they’re not all the same and have so many different intonations to them.
I will forever quote "you shut your mouth when you're talking to me" what a line
The same director also made The Judge, with Robert Downey Jr. and Robert Duvall. A really well-made comedy-drama, well worth checking out.
Owen Wilson does say a "Wow", when he realizes that Chazz still got it :)
The line that always destroys me is "I'm sorry, Kitty cat, are you out of your fucking mind?"
Movieweb counts 29 movies where Owen Wilson says "wow", including his best films of "Bottle Rocket", "The Royal Tenenbaums", "Zoolander", "Midnight in Paris", and "Meet the Parents." He said it 6 times in this movie, so you missed it (maybe it wasn't as long as you thought it should be to count?).
For Vince Vaughn films, you 100% have to see "Swingers" as it made him. He's money in it. Also, "Zoolander", "Made", and "Be Cool."
Thinking about it, I can't recall any Elmore Leonard reactions in the reactionverse.
Owen Wilson said Wow 5 times in this movie. The first is at the mediation ,another at the reception with the mom played by Jane Seymore later again when he feels her up, another when he is on the couch and lastly when he is on the steps of the Washington monument.
"Swingers" (1996). He also plays a good supporting role in the Brad and Angelina movie "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" (2005).
"Old School" from 2 years previous to this movie has both VV and Owen's brother Luke Wilson with Will Ferrell (bigger than a cameo). Same vein of comedy and raunch.
"The Internship" from 2103 is a PG comedy with Vaughn and Owen Wilson again, out of work and trying to earn a spot working at Google.
The first couple in the very beginning of the movie, the husband was played by Dwight Yoakam. Yoakam is a country music star and is also was in the movie Four Christmases that Vince Vaughn is in, very funny movie.
It's an incredibly dark joke, but Vince Vaughn's explanation of why he didn't sleep well during the breakfast scene is one of my favorite deliveries in comedy. He plays is completely straight and Owen Wilson's response to all the horrible things his best friend tells him is to offer him a scone.
Couples Retreat and The Internship are two more great movies that Vince Vaughn shows off his comedic leading down chops in.
i’ve always thought simone resembled rachel mcadams, so I love to see her acknowledging her beauty! you are just as beautiful, simone❤️
The fact you mentioned Rachel McAdamas beauty, should have clued you in they look nothing alike for Christ’s sake, what an insult to Rachel.
@@kristianberg4264 I'm guessing no one has ever mistakenly said you had Rachel McAdams' charm, ha ha.
Simone's random introductions are always so hilarious 😂
You have to see where Vince got his start: SWINGERS! It's so money, baby, and you don't even know it!
Bonus: you'll see a lot of familiar faces that also got their start in that movie!
The best single scene has to be Walken completely ignoring/blanking on Vaughn being tied up.
Swingers, Made, Old School, Freaky, Thw Internship, The Break Up, The Watch, Four Christmas's, Fred Clause...and many others.
Great reaction video! You HAVE to watch Old School! Such a fun film and cast! Vaughn is also amazing in Freaky (2020) Horror/Comedy and a more serious role in Dragged Across Concrete (2018)...and a quite brief but hilarious role as a basement arms dealer in Mr & Mrs Smith (2005) One of the most funny and versatile actors out there imo BUT...his Magnum Opus for me that really showed how powerful an actor he was, beyond being funny, was his truly amazing role in True Detective Season 2 (also along with Rachel McAdams from Wedding Crashers who is stunning in her role as well). Simply brilliant show and cast (my favorite Colin Farrell role there as well), sadly much overshadowed by how strong and incredible season one was with Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson. So there's my suggestions to see more of Vaughn and what an amazing actor he is. 😎👍
The only thing that would have made this reaction better is Simone's OMG count getting to 69 😂
Nice.
Simone! Not all pixies are evil 😮
Aside from that, your comments are a joy. "NO lessons learned!" 😅You and George are a lot of fun 👍🏾😄👏🏾
If you do more with Vince Vaughn, please please please do Old School. There's not that many movie channel reactions to it here, and it honestly was one of the movies that kicked off the run of Will Ferrell movies that he had for about 10 years that were all just insanely good. The cast is so good and it's a kind of outrageous, laugh-along and don't overthink it comedy like this, Anchor Man, Talladega Nights etc.

I watched this and The 40 Year Old Virgin so many times back in the day.
I didn't hear a word once the OMG counter came on. Took full concentration. I was really sweating that we weren't going to get 60, but Simone came through at the end.
Starsky and Hutch with Wilson,Stiller,Vaughn great comedy hidden gem.
I'd love to have Christopher Walken say "You move pretty good." High compliment there.
For more Vince Vaughn - The Break Up; Four Christmases, The Internship (Vaughn and Owen); Couples Retreat; Old School; The Dilemma; The Watch.
Alright so for Vince Vaughn, I would say this might be his best performance all time, but other ones I like from him are “Old School”, “Coupes Retreat”, “The Dilemma”, “The Break up” are all great.
But for Christmas, “Four Christmases” and “Fred Claus” are really good too.
Old School, The Internship and Delivery Man are 3 of my favorite Vince Vaughn movies
George said, "for free food" and I thought of Doctor Evil in my head, "riiiight"
My text alert for my mom, to this day, is "MA, THE MEATLOAF!"
For another owen Wilson Vince Vaughn one - the internship
Just Vince Vaughn - Freaky , Couples Retreat
Totally unrelated suggestion - The Perfect Getaway - Milla Jovavich & Steve Zahn
MAN THIS MOVIE IS SCANDALOUS SO MANY FUNNY MOMENTS LOL THE DINNER SCENE IS CLASSIC 😂😂 GETS ME EVERYTIME 😅
I remember seeing this movie in theaters. Everyone laughed so hard that we got full ab workouts.
That deep chuckle from Simone after "I knew my first time would be on a beach." was hilarious lol she knew exactly what kind of batshit crazy was coming.
I remember seeing this in theaters and the surprise cameo blew my mind
The internship, Couples Retreat, Delivery man & Four Christmasas.
wedding crashers is one of The greatest comedy movies of all time, never disappoints when you watch it.
I remember going to a family wedding and my friend came along. We sat together during the wedding and that was a terrible idea. I had giggle fits the entire time. I couldn't stop laughing😅
