    I do exactly these massages to my legs!!!!! because i know where the pain is but i would prefer if i found someone like you to do the massages but here in France people dont know this pain of shin splints. Very little have heard of it. All the videos i have watched are from Canada or US. I have found one in France. Thank you for the video which encourages me to continue these massages. It has been months of working at it and still not gone.

    Absolutely superb video. Just recovering from Anterior Compartment Fasciotomy, now 16 days postop. Running up hills caused TA tear - which I ignored and ran on stupidly, this caused Acute compartment Syndrome (tight comp as had typical chronic ant comp synd ) with edema of TA and high AC pressures and great pain at rest, untreated for several weeks due to difficulty in diagnosis.
    Will ask my wife to do this.
    A follow up vid of self-massage/stretch would be very helpful to incorporate into a daily routine for me and the many runners or sports people with anterior lower leg problems

    What would you recommend when the general medial tibial area is too inflamed/sensitive to apply this much pressure?

    • @83dcardenas
      @83dcardenas 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I had that same issue, I was told to put ice for about 20 min 3 times a day for 3 to 4 days , then I was able to self-massage the posterior tibialis

    What I have been wondering watching your videos is you never seem to get any of the butter onto the sheet. I make my own massage wax and have been struggling with getting it onto the sheets, which I'd not looking nice and difficult to wash off. Any tips on your part? Thanks in advance

      hi everyone ,if anyone else wants to learn about how to treat shin splints quickly try Mackorny Run Fast Blueprint (just google it )?
      It is an awesome one off guide for getting rid of shin splints without the hard work. Ive heard some decent things about it and my mate got cool results with it.

    I broke my tibia and fibula about halfway up, can this help with pain still associated with that fracture. It is really sensitive there but I find that gentle rubbing actually helps the pain, there is also some nerve damage there.

    I have like a pain that has started after a couple of weeks of regularly walking 30/45 minutes a day. It is not always sore but only sometimes when I walk it hurts like on the middle of the lower leg. Not in any pain but a sort of dull nagging sensation. Does anyone have any ideas on what's going on with it?

    I always start by really warming up the muscle and introducing my hands to the area to relax the client and prepare them for the pain by acknowledging that they will feel something and instructing them to breathe.
    The video was excellent otherwise - especially the aftercare.

    ..by bringing the muscle into inversion you actually shortening/hardening the muscle, not softening..eg.;.flex the arm and check your biceps, than extend the arm and check again..

    • @mistibear7821
      @mistibear7821 6 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Zygimantas Lapenas only when the client is actively inverting their own foot does the muscle harden, otherwise the passive inverting of the foot causes the muscle to shorten and soften.

    BUT ITS A TENDON.... NOT A MUSCLE

      @alex1201yt1201 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Ray Mukhtar, you seem very sure of yourself with your shouting in all caps. You may want to retake anatomy, or try Google. The Tibialis Posterior is a muscle. It does have a tendon to attach it to the foot. Maybe that is what you are thinking if
