One of the cowriters wrote a song called “Pains” to the tune of “Friends in Low Places”. I thought maybe the sausage gravy was in that song but it wasn’t. I’m betting it’s a non country fan that thought that to make fun of it.

I swear these channels just get better and better every day. I have 2 hours a day that I have to sit still and wear a spinal stimulation backbrace to heal from my spinal fusion surgery and these channels get me through it. BIG grateful thanks!
Really wish people would stop getting Fancy wrong. It’s not about selling a daughter off to take care of the family. It’s about a mother sending her daughter off and telling she can only do this little bit for the daughter and she has to take care of her self and not to worry about her and the baby.
We’re going to need more country episodes if we’re going to cover Shania Twain, Johnny Cash (early, like “Ring of Fire”, and later, like “Hurt”), Dolly Parton, etc.
No, it was about a mother who could not take care of her daughter and the baby after the husband ran off so she did what she could to set the daughter up to live.
doubt any of them would know George, thinks songs were prob picked off of what 95% of people would know ...but def a disservice George has got some great songs
Live Like You Were Dying ... This song has such a special meaning for me. Thyroid disease nearly killed me and it happened to be the summer this song came out. I was in such bad shape that the cardiologist told my family two nights in a row that they may want to start thinking about making final arrangements. I've actually lived this since I recuperated and every day of my life since. Advice ... Don't leave ANYTHING undone or unsaid. I'm 62 now and have been grateful for every extra day I've been given.
I was thinking to myself 'I want a Carrie Underwood song eventually,' then as soon as I thought that Jesus Take the Wheel played. Though I was hoping for Before He Cheats.
Giving a shout-out here to one of my all-time favorite Country artists: Toby Keith! Love listening to that man! 'How Do You Like Me Now?!', 'As Good As I Once Was', 'American Soldier', 'Whiskey For My Men (Beer For My Horses)'?! I can listen to him all day!

There's tons of danceable country songs!
You shoulda had "Lucille", "Rhinestone Cowboy", "Take Me Home, Country Roads" and "Thank God I'm a Country Boy". And you should've included "Ring of Fire". It's a classic country song for sure. It's one of those you instantly think of when you hear country music. Just think about it. Those would've been hard to resist in a challenge like "Try Not to Sing". Please do more "Try Not to Sing - Country Songs". It's so much fun.
Elders and Teens react to Classic Country! Obviously a teen paired with an elder. But such great Classic Country Artist! Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, Hank Williams Sr, Patsy Cline, George Jones, Loretta Lynn, Conway Twitty, Dolly Parton, Jerry Reed, Tammy Wynette, The Highwaymen, Elvis (though technically not Classic Country).
Chills listening to The Good Stuff, one of the best songs ever. I made tater tot casserole for most meals shortly after getting married and my husband didnt have the heart to tell me he was sick of it til months later, been 18 years and he’s finally asking me to make it again :)
I know what he means when he says he looses it with Reba. His body and soul... anytime I hear her voice chills run through me and it's an unreal experience.
3:54 Funny thing is that I remember my dad getting me an autographed CD of Wide Open Spaces album after they had a Concert in NYC pre-9/11 at the plaza of the World Trade Center.
