These songs in this genre were what I remember growing up with! Best time for country! RIP to Toby Keith, you were such a talented man and we're all missing you right now!
I grew up listening to all of these and love them. But I have never heard "Strawberry Wine" that I can recall Also, dude with the rings and lady with the red lips are a riot!
90's got lot of genres of music. Thanks to MTV it spread to Asia I remember county music videos and if I remember they were played at night Wednesday and my dad's tapes and CD's bought from US when he was a Sea ferrer at that time.
So many more great country artists that you should play like Alabama, Alan Jackson, Brooks & Dunn, and so many more!!!¡¡¡ Definitely need a part 2 of this!!!¡¡¡
When nobody recognized George Strait I felt my soul crack, but not knowing Toby Keith shattered it! Born in 98 and I knew every single one of these! This is the music I grew up on! Every song told a story, and it was awesome lol
All of these songs were my childhood and I have to say thank you for putting a big smile on my face. I love every single one of these songs and was so happy to hear them again. I wish you had put one Alan Jackson song in the list.
Yaaaaaaaas! More of this please! If you do a part 2, include Vince Gill, Alan Jackson, Martina McBride, Brooks & Dunn, Wynonna Judd, Alabama, Patty Lovelace, The Chicks, Travis Tritt, Tanya Tucker, Trisha Yearwood, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Pam Tillis, and LeAnn Rimes. 90's Country had so many great artists, especially female vocalists! 😊
The guy saying Garth needed some presence needs to see him in concert. Dude is all over the place and still one of the best concerts I’ve ever been to.
I've never been myself but I love watching his live concerts where I can find them. Where did the dude find that energy? I'm way younger than him and I'm out of breath.
I' am African American Woman from the hood, but in the 90's I was all about Country, Hip Hop, and Broadway music. That's right in my 20's I had a love for Garth Brooks, Wu Tang Clan, and Stepen Sondheim.
I’m black in my twenties now and I also am going through my country phase. But it’s more Luke Combs, Zach Bryan and Chris Stapleton then Garth Brooks and Shania Twain. Tho I do love the classics
White girl here that grew up in the hood. I listened to pop, alternative, country (in college in the middle of no where Idaho) and rap. I ended up going to a mostly white college and got the looks while I blasted the rap.
I loved how Jaxon says “I don’t listen to country music” right at the beginning of the video, and then goes on to know about 90% of all of the songs.😂😂😂
Interviewing people from the wrong region for this. Growing up in the midwest all of these songs were on loop in most households. Love or hate them, all 90's kids around me know these songs by heart.
I think they purposely had to find people who haven’t listened to these songs before in order to react to something new. Not just a random interview asking if they know a song or artist. So it’s not like this was a cross section of a population somewhere or something.
Oh my gosh, this one was maddening! They didnt know why Shania's video looked like it did, they thought GARTH BROOKS (entertainer of the year winner forever) needed stage presence, they didnt know George Strait....?! I had to pause so many times to get through it,lol! Like, do they really not know music videos anymore?? Whew, that was rough and funny, but rough.
I'm so happy that you all finally did country music. This was my childhood growing up in West Virginia. I didn't really expect any of the reactors to know or like anything country. Can you do 2000's country (like Rascal Flatts, Pickin wildflowers by Keith Anderson, Kelli Pickler, Steve Holy just to name a few). It would also be nice to see them react to "country rap". Jelly Roll, Struggle Jennings, Ryan Upchurch, Atlus, My Breed, and etc.
Pls do a #2 on this specific decade. Chattahoochee, fast as you.. dwight yokum, boot scootin boogie, lay me up by the jukebox before i die, indian outlaw... etc
This was the commercial golden age of country music. You could argue all you want about whether the 90s was the best era but that ain’t my place. what I can say is that, without a shadow of a doubt this was the best SELLING era of country music
It's hard to argue when you have Garth Brooks and Shania Twain the best selling male and female country artists of all time (although Shania is almost full on pop by the time of Come On Over)
I'm German and whenever I hear the words Country music and 90s I think of Cotton Eye Joe by Rednex, because when I saw that music video as a kid I unironically thought, that this is, what an american party looks like (and yes, I now know, that the band is from Sweden). To be fair I was 4 years old. 😅
RIGHT. Arguably the best country singer of all time. I know there are other classics but God damn its hard to find a song of his I don't like. Just pure talent and skill in all aspects. None of the new singers co.pare to him.
As a country girl growing up in the 90d I knew every single one and was highly offended whenever anyone made fun of the songs or singers lol country music will always be made fun of and it make me sad
I hear ya. 90s country was and still is awesome. Nowadays it's all gross music, cause I'm sure all of them know every word to wap. It's a crying shame.
As a country kid in the 90s I approve this message....I can also say there's enough farms and teenage girls with nothing better to do that strawberry wine was a theme song for us all 😅
This whole video just hurts..... I'm screaming at my phone the whole time........ These are not adults, these are children who don't know good music.......
In the USA, anyone 18+ is legally an adult, so, sorry to burst your bubble, but if any of the reactors are 18+ they are legally considered adults in the USA.
I grew up on 90's country and knew all of these. Brought back my family's barn dances when I was a kid. The secret last verse of Friends In Low Places is the best. 😂
These songs in this genre were what I remember growing up with! Best time for country!
RIP to Toby Keith, you were such a talented man and we're all missing you right now!
I grew up listening to all of these and love them. But I have never heard "Strawberry Wine" that I can recall
Also, dude with the rings and lady with the red lips are a riot!
As someone who grew up listening to all these songs, this pained me in so many ways
Only one I didn't know was Strawberry Wine lol
we need more country reacts. this was great and they need to learn how great country is and how much country music has shaped other genres.
Watching this in 2024 after Toby has passed hits different.
Yeah RIP Cowboy
90's country is still awesome better than what is out there today.
where was Alan Jackson in this?!
The Asian guy that felt sorry for people in the 90s clearly does not know good music. The 90s was the best decade for Country and most pop.
90's got lot of genres of music. Thanks to MTV it spread to Asia I remember county music videos and if I remember they were played at night Wednesday and my dad's tapes and CD's bought from US when he was a Sea ferrer at that time.
He is stupid
That really pissed me off😂..
I sorry for his taste actually
And his mind.. thinking he living in a best period
Back when country was good and didn't just pander to extreme stereotypes
So many more great country artists that you should play like Alabama, Alan Jackson, Brooks & Dunn, and so many more!!!¡¡¡ Definitely need a part 2 of this!!!¡¡¡
YES! and dive deeper into these same artist’s less popular songs✅
Absolutely!
Chattahoochee !
The way they didnt recognize George Strait immediately had me shook.
I came here for this comment, my jaw literally dropped lol 😆 and I just started to officially like country music back in 2011 😅
King George!!! 😊
I was APPALLEDDDDDDD 😤
They are in California if I'm correct. Martine was the only decent one that got into it lol
I feel like not recognizing King George would be like not recognizing Tupac, rest his soul, if he was still performing today.
When nobody recognized George Strait I felt my soul crack, but not knowing Toby Keith shattered it! Born in 98 and I knew every single one of these! This is the music I grew up on! Every song told a story, and it was awesome lol
Born in 94 and was thing the same damn thing ☠️
"You shouldn't be drinking strawberry wine at 17" Every Gen X girl laughing while thinking about Boones farm.
All of these songs were my childhood and I have to say thank you for putting a big smile on my face. I love every single one of these songs and was so happy to hear them again. I wish you had put one Alan Jackson song in the list.
I was just saying. There was a disturbing lack of chattahoochee. But I’ll let it slide
Garth Brooks literally the best selling artist of all time
Sadly, no. He’s only the second best selling artist in the US of all time. First place is obviously The Beatles
I just turned 40 and I grew up on all these songs. This video hurts me... I love all these songs.
Wow I grew up on this music. It's almost painful watching these things.
This is when country music was still country music. Today it all sounds pop. 90’s country music was my decade for music 🎶 💛
Those songs were amazing. How could you feel bad for the 90’s.
Agreed!
Can Garth Brooks have any more stage presence? OBVIOUSLY has never seen Garth perform.
RIGHT?!
Rest in peace, Toby Keith (July 8, 1961 - February 5, 2024) Farewell Cowboy.
Yes I'm crying!!!!
The guy saying Garth needed some presence needs to see him in concert. Dude is all over the place and still one of the best concerts I’ve ever been to.
I agree, it's the best concert I have ever been to.
I've never been myself but I love watching his live concerts where I can find them. Where did the dude find that energy? I'm way younger than him and I'm out of breath.

As a 90s girl who grew up on country, yes to all of this. I totally sang to all of these. I especially have always adored "Check Yes Or No".
15:41 That is why they call George Strait King George. And they all broke my heart that they didn't know Toby Keith. RIP Toby Keith.
90s Era county music is ICONIC.
I loved how Jaxon says “I don’t listen to country music” right at the beginning of the video, and then goes on to know about 90% of all of the songs.😂😂😂
He's so cool
As a 90s baby, this made me feel so nostalgic. I knew every single one of these songs!
"Adults" saying Garth needs stage presence. Poor child. This is how to say "I've never seen a show" without saying "I've never seen a show".
I'm living in an era when people don't know some of the greatest country singers of all time.... Sad
Rest in Peace Toby. You where one of the greats
How did you not have them react to Brooks and Dunn?! They legit ARE 90's country haha
How do you know every country song and artist on the list until it gets to Geroge Straight and then don't know him!? The KING of country music!!! 🤯🤯🤯🤯
It breaks my heart. It really does!
Jaxon transitioning from “I don’t listen to country” to jamming to most of the songs was satisfying to watch.
How do they not know any of these artists?!?!?!
Probably found everyone from NYC and LA.
How did the chick who knew EVERY OTHER SONG, NOT know the King of Country???
Right?!?!??!
They said “Who is this?” and I got sick to my stomach and pissed at the same time. King George forever!
“Who has a farm like that where they can just relate like that.”
Brother, that’s what you call country.
Heck, that's just a typical house and basic lawn.
Geogre Strait has 61 number 1 singles, not 41
"It's like his mullet went to the gym" is a killer line and also wildly accurate
I'm in the Midwest, and, knew some but not all of them.
Finally! Some country music appreciation 😭 classic country is amazing and I wish people would like it more.
Of course I don't find this video until after my idol passes away 😢. R.I.P Toby.
Who is this man? I weep. That ladies and gentlemen is The King of Country music. The amazing Mr. George Strait.
Personally super sad that no one knew who George Strait was.
i wasn’t sad. i was disgusted
@@kiloismeta8933 I was appalled 😮 lol
The entire Pure Country Soundtrack was great
Fourth of July this year was just not the same without Toby Keith. Rest in peace Sir.
I feel bad for the generations that missed the 80 and 90s music. Some of the best ever made.
None of them knowing Toby Kieth is heart breaking! RIP to one of the greatest country singers of all time!
I totally agree he was the best and so iconic. I’m actually shocked the React team didn’t show or acknowledge his passing recently.
I laughed pretty good at that "Garth needs stage presence" as well 😂
6:31 “can I get some stage presence” this was some award show. Garth is concert is some of the best stage presence ever!
Absolutely! That statement hurt me personally.
I am so glad I have grown up listening to this. I sang every song with all my heart. Shoutout to my momma 😂👏🙌🙌
Oh these kids have never disappointed me for ages, until today!😢
The DISRESPECT to Toby Keith, Reba, and George Strait is INSANE!
Don't feel sorry for the 90's, it was the pinnacle of amazing music.
How do you not know George Strait? June 7, 2024 he filled Kyle Field with 104,000+ fans. He was and is the King of country music. 🤦🏻♀️
Not everyone knows country artists why are yall so dense??
This is killing me! How do they not know these songs and artists? If they're adults I'm a friggin geezer.
Born in 92 grew up listening to 80s and 90s country.
I'm so happy that you all finally did country music. This was my childhood growing up in West Virginia. I didn't really expect any of the reactors to know or like anything country. Country music in the '90s was genius.
Pls do a #2 on this specific decade. Chattahoochee, fast as you.. dwight yokum, boot scootin boogie, lay me up by the jukebox before i die, indian outlaw... etc
KING George. Put respect on his name. Truly the King of Country music.
I can't believe nobody knew who Toby Keith was!! R.I.P this poor man!!
Wayy better than all the "creative" artists shaking ass in every single videos these days
This was the commercial golden age of country music. You could argue all you want about whether the 90s was the best era but that ain’t my place. what I can say is that, without a shadow of a doubt this was the best SELLING era of country music
It's hard to argue when you have Garth Brooks and Shania Twain the best selling male and female country artists of all time (although Shania is almost full on pop by the time of Come On Over)
Not know who the King of Country music is crazy! George Strait is the GOAT!
I'm 36 and I still have all of these songs on my favorites playlist 💜
Saying that Garth Brooks needs "Stage presence" is sacrilege. Man is one the greatest entertainers to ever exist.
most diamond albums ever and 2nd most albums sold in the US and these guys havent heard of him
I'm German and whenever I hear the words Country music and 90s I think of Cotton Eye Joe by Rednex, because when I saw that music video as a kid I unironically thought, that this is, what an american party looks like (and yes, I now know, that the band is from Sweden). How do y’all not know the King of Country George Strait. That’s very disrespectful IMO
How is it disrespectful bro
@@chloemayhew they talked shit about his song and they don’t know him and to talk shit about him and his song is disrespectful.

Not everyone's taste in music is the same!!
@@rcola8242 oh okay got it sorry for asking
Please do another one with Brooks and Dunn, Tim McGraw, Alan Jackson, more George Strait, more Toby Keith, Tracy Byrd, Alabama, The Judds
They should have played "All my Exes live in Texas"! That song is awesome
These people not knowing who George Strait is physically pains me.
People nowadays aren't raised on older stuff like they used to be
I feel so sorry for them not knowing King George and Toby. 90s was the best for country music. They don’t have a clue.
Modern country music is just bad, golden age was the 70s. Parton, Cash…that’s where it’s at.
Oh, Garth Brooks has stage presence like no one else! Just watch his New York Central Park concert.
Asking for stage presence from Garth Brooks might be the most hilarious comment of this video. Ah, I feel old watching this!
The live version of “Friends in Low Places” is sooo fun, especially that 3rd verse
90s has the best country music.
80s too. Alabama and George Strait, Randy Travis, The Judds, were all huge in that decade
Peek of country music in my opinion! RIP Toby Keith 😢
Knew every single one. Grew up with all kf these on CMT! Super proud i got Check Yes or No in like 3 seconds.
Finally, some country! Hope there's more of these react videos. 👍
RIP Toby Keith 😔
No Tim Mcgraw or Alan Jackson? 90s country was absolutely stacked with talent.
I'm definitely a 90s country music fan. I knew all of these. I know this was just a scratch of the surface, but there were sooooo many more goodies!
RIP Toby. We are all cowboys for you!!!!!
As a country kid in the 90s I approve this message....I can also say there's enough farms and teenage girls with nothing better to do that strawberry wine was a theme song for us all 😅
All these Californians making fun of these songs breaks this southern guys heart
for real man
George Strait has 60 .... number one's on the chart. .............. that's why he's the king of country music.
90s was the BEST decade for country music, this is when Country was pure country
"Friends in Low Places" yall should listen to the later added 3rd verse ;)
Brian saying let’s go girls is everything.
How could they not know Shania Twain 😅
Some people have never heard the whole room scream Strawberry wine and it shows
Are any of them from below the Mason Dixon? Every single one of these was a staple of local radio in the 90s.
RIP Toby
And wow- as an Oklahoman I’m impressed. Garth, Reba, and Toby all made the list!
This whole video just hurts..... I'm screaming at my phone the whole time........
These are not adults, these are children who don't know good music.......
"Adults" is really pushing the definition.
I mean a few if them are my age how do you not know these songs??
In the USA, anyone 18+ is legally an adult, so, sorry to burst your bubble, but if any of the reactors are 18+ they are legally considered adults in the USA.
Strawberry Wine went straight over their heads! lol
Rest in peace Toby Keith. Greatly missed!
6:33 "Can I get a little stage presence?"
Oh buddy, if only you knew.
Thank you! Defense for my main man Garth. His stage presence is INSANE!!
Asking Garth Brooks to get stage presence is the most revealing comment in the whole video
Not knowing Toby Keith and nobody mentioning Red Solo Cup was his song, something all of them should know, is a crime. RIP Toby Keith
I grew up on 90's country and knew all of these. Brought back my family's barn dances when I was a kid.
The secret last verse of Friends In Low Places is the best. 😂
