Yes!! Hi Jeff... I remember shipping out your seeds!! APPRECIATED!!! Between October and February We've donated about $600 to the three Organizations. You buying my seeds and watching here was an important contribution. Thanks and great hearing your seeds are thriving!!! Anything you need just reach out here or better Instagram messages.
My germinations also came in in 3 days! Popped the top and moved my heating mat down a rack on my growing setup to keep providing some non-direct heat. Looks like I'm on the same schedule as you
Hello Jim, just subscribed to your channel. I've been looking to see what plants to start from seed. Coleus caught my eye and your videos made up my mind. I'm a second year gardener so i have a lot to learn. I need to order some of your seeds!
Hi Adriana!! Awesome!! You will love Coleus!! Very easy and fun to grow. I HAVE an extensive list of over 200b videos . If you want some seeds heres my Ebay link www.ebay.com/itm/COLEUS-SEEDS-FEATURED-ON-JIMS-WHOLIEST-OF-COLEUS-/393922243219?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49286&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0
Hi Jim..hope all is well with you..your coleus look fantastic as always!I didn't plant any coleus seeds this year but I do have cuttings in water but some of them have rotted and some stayed alive..but I want to ask you if I should plant them in soil now or is it ok to keep them in water still?the bottoms are starting to turn brownish a bit, maybe cuz they be been in water since October? Thx
Hi Mystique Rose! Glad to hear from you again! Keep rinsing the rootball and continue water changes for a few more weeks...Then you can pot it. Not that potting it now would fail. They're Certainly not ready to go outside yet of course.
All of the Coleus Seeds I sell are from Sun Tolerant Coleus. Just remember that More Sun means more frequent watering....and well drained pots or Soil. But My Coleus are All Sun Tolerant!!
Hello Jim, I know coleus are easy to start , so I started to sale them. I've seeded my coleus are not sprouting yet its been a while Now what if I have lily covered some seeds oops! I hope they will come out. I'm very sorry about your fur baby, I've lost two in 3 years was very difficult. Ill be thinking of you
Thank you Nancy for the kind words about Newton. Im sorry your Coleus haven't germinated yet. I'll need a bit more info to help. Main reason they don't is improper sowing....and more unlikely immature , old or bad seeds. If you do these 4 things I can almost guarantee your seeds Will germinate. #1 Use pre-moisteened POTTING Soil, Seed starter mix Or Jiffy pods. #2 COLEUS SEED SHOULD NEVER BE BURIED!!! Just spread out /drop a few ON TOP of pre-moisteened Soil and gently press down. #3 Keep covered with a clear dome or Plastic Wrap until they germinate and then keep partly covered for next 3 weeks #4 COLEUS SEEDS need LIGHT ( DAYLIGHT OR GROWLIGHTS) to Germinate 24/7 until they germinate. Also keep seeds in a warm Temperature (70-73°f) This should help. If you need good seeds I sell seeds too...here is the Ebay link www.ebay.com/itm/COLEUS-SEEDS-FEATURED-ON-JIMS-WHOLIEST-OF-COLEUS-/393922243219?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49286&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0
I got some Rainbow Coleus growing, I was wondering when do they start growing they true colors? And do I continue to water them with a spray bottle? I started my growing by my window that brings sunlight in my room, please contact me back, thank you, God Bless 🙏🏽
Hi Malcolm.... Soon within even a week you will see two tiny leaves emerge from the cotyledons (The tiny green first leaves or ears). Those are your true leaves. I wouldn't spray water on the Germinations...I suggest gently watering the soil direct or even bottom water...dont overwater meaning the pods or soils shouldn't be saturated...but make sure they are well drained.
@@Jimswholiestofcoleus Thank you so much for the information, I'm so excited to see how they grow, this is my first time growing them, I'm mostly excited to see what colors they gonna be, thank you again, God Bless 🙏🏽
Is it necessary for me to cover my seeds? Or I'd covering it really to retain moisture 🤔. I'm in the Caribbean. Even though it's raining these days, it's warm.
It's necessary for optimal Germination success....otherwise the seeds being on top of the soil would almost always fight to maintain moisture which is needed to germinate. Being in the Caribbean may be advantageous as far as moisture goes....but im sure you have warm days , Sun & heat which will dry out the seed medium...so its good to have the mini ecosystem created by the plastic Jiffy dome system or plastic film covering.
Oh no praying for Newton! We have a couple Yorkies one is 3 and the other is gosh atleast 12 or 13. He is getting old loosing weight hes got maybe a tooth or two left. His little tounge sticks out the side of his mouth. His name is Addington and my huaband has had him since he was a pup and we dread the day.. I just lost my beagle a couple years ago. He was my first dog got him when i was a kid and he lived until he was 16, his health was starting to fade had heart murmur and kidneys were failing. It broke my heart he was such a good dog and like you said he was with me for so long. Its hard they are like your babies!
Thank you so much for sharing this!! Addington sounds like a cutie!! And hearing this from you on the loss of your Beagle comforts me knowing I'm not alone. Newton is getting weaker by the day...but not in pain. I will be with him and comfort him and take him to the Rainbow Bridge at a time that is completely UNSELFISH on my part....I will not allow him to suffer. Thank you. I hope your Coleus are well and look forward to hearing from you thru the season.
