It’s nice to see you’ve gotten more creative with your ITA Cards, and you even put in Test Card C in there. Was not expecting an actual Granada Ident though, very impressive.
Hi M L. I'm glad that you liked the end ident. The video showed how the Granada ident developed over time. It was probably made in response to broadcasting 7 days a week in the North-West from 1968. The video is in 4:3 as it contains that original footage. I'm learning a lot as I go. All the best, Nigel.
Hi Dean. This is true and I have a tendency on these videos to mix and match, which does not suit everyone. But, it is a 'mock up' of the original after all. It could also point to a transitional phase regarding the Granada logo which lasted from 1969, almost till itv1 in 2002. My better performing videos are when I stick to the 'script', so to speak. Granada will be back, but in time, as I have to decide how I am going to approach this. With some ITV companies, I may redo some videos in a so-called 'no thrills' section. Stick to the 'script'. Hope you enjoyed the video anyhow. All the best, Nigel.
What a grand way to start the day's broadcasting with a northern style band. Very much Granada From The North here.
2:09 , "From the north, this is Granada, transmitting on the northern television stations of the Independent Television Authority"

Wait, that’s Test Card D. Whoops, don’t know my Test Cards.

Mock is from 1958, but the clip at the end is from 1969?
