So I’m 90% sure the recommended tab is just a preset of rooms that they choose making it seems like it’s to you by randomizing some rooms because you and all my friend basically if not completely have the same recommended.
I also agree that rec room is in a weird transition phase.

Bro ive had groups of people follow me across rec centers only to report and votekick me just because they didint like my nationality and accent. I got banned for that and i had video proof and when i applied rec room just gave me an automated response on how i "did something bad" and thats why i got banned 😢

Honestly the voice moderation is terrible. I will just be silent and get my talking privileges away and when people are trying to do sexual things to my avatar/ be racist reporting or blocking literally does nothing since they can still see my outline of my avatar and still try to do weird things to me. To be honest I just feel like from my experience they need to talk to the community more and hear what we would like or need for rec room to be a better game.

I have heard the same from others that stopping communication with playera is a factor
I think room owners should get more hosts and mods. This would allow rec room to reduce the general populations moderation power and reduce account bans, but also keep rooms non-toxic and hold players accountable for their actions.
unfortunatly i feel that would lead to alot of abuse of power
@@theRCLman How? All they could do is room ban them. I don’t think they should be able to account ban anyone or anything like that. I just think that creators should have more room mods. Right now that isn’t a problem, so it shouldn’t be a problem.
Sadly I don't think Rec Room uses servers in multiplayer rooms, which can cause a lot of lag. But they use a servers for Rec Net probably. (Just a theory)

3:20 I think it’s an OBS issue, I found that using the G-Force built-in screen recorder works a lot better (you need a Nvidia card tho)

Ok here’s a list of things I want to be added/fixed or idk:
Hitbox volume (An invisible collision but send an output every time it’s been struck by a melee weapon or hit by a projectile)
More AI enemies (Or a new quest)
Lower prices (why would I wanna spend 9k tokens for a pair of cat ears)
More effects for the emitter component
The animation controller randomly breaking (not letting you edit it again after finishing editing it)
Better moderation (I GOT BANNED FOR “Racist language” FOR SAYING THE WORD BLACK AND NOTHING AFTER THAT)
A notification or something to show that someone has muted you
More votekick reasons
Being able to clone limits v2 rooms again (for some reason rec room disabled cloning rooms with limits v2 so now I have to use rooms v2 which is so buggy and laggy)
The list goes on!
Not a bad list more emitters effects would be cool, i will so i like the current hit detectio
As i mentioned in my post, i would liked to see an custom player animations for make like reloads,emotes,movesets, etc, but i think it Will only work on screen mode

I know this may sound like a lot but could you make a video/short on how to promote rooms so that they can get more players?
I have seen in cases people who promote are actually bad because the whole half of them is that they promote cash grabs and to start this off first they friend request random players ( make sure the player that friend requested you doesn't promote in their bio.) And then if you accept they will constantly invite you to just complete cash grab or even brainrot obbies or just plain for children and if you actually threaten these promoters they don't do anything and it's actually annoying its better to block them instead of unfriend them because they will torment you so these, promoters are annoying asf

I used to be a teacher and creator on Rec Room. But these new changes, like making Rooms 2 a requirement for classes, especially for beginner classes, are a disaster. In my opinion, Rooms 2 is one of the most un-needed features ever added. We asked for more ink, not a completely confusing type of room. Because of this mess, I quit being a creator. Rec Room is seriously screwing itself over, and I don't see any hope for improvement. Man, it really sucks that this is all happening because Rec Room is truly a fun game. Sabotaging your own success really just lets down everyone. Also, I could go on and on for hours about this moderation system, but im not gonna get into all of that.
It feels like the 2.0 is necessary but they are moving to fast with it
its really painful teaching beginners rooms 1 and now i gotta teach rooms 2

either a price cut for items and clothing but personally I would rather have a more new player freindly way of making money, a job, moderation thats open to help with etc. rather than room purchases and paddle ball

I believe that the reason inflation exists in Rec Room is because of how much money they're spending. They gotta pay creators, room creators, pay for RRO's, and that definitely costs a lot, though I do agree the prices should be lowered

There is one problem that i hate the most.
Makerpen menu out of bounds
The configuration menu is the only thing that gets out if bounds so i cannot close the menu because its far away neither i can,t configure the circuits and most importantly i cant even configure important circuits so please i need a fix for this bug ASAP

In my opinion what getting on my nerves in rr is that many things are low quality or even a copy of something else there is not much original things in rr and rooms that are good and original get mo recognition

the moderation is terrible
i love seeing hackers in reccenters but my god the moderation is so terrible that an official workshop event cant stay up for over 10 minutes before being hacked
also if you get like 5 reports from different people of you being under 13 you are basically instantly banned (its been like this for years!)
3:39 teachers and workshop hosts are being made to swap over to this buggy system on august 1st too

Yes the simpler design was so much better, the new one feels too much like I'm using a boring iPad. The old UI felt whimsical which is the whole point of VR, you can do anything why not do unique things?!

Am I the only one that Rec Room keeps deleting all my circuits in all my rooms this is the third time I’ve redone it and honestly it’s getting very repetitive

It's jus the constant slop like the byo or ignited games that are really the only games being made now it's copy and paste
I'm not joking they are literally copy and paste the map is the same the sound effects the description are all the same and it takes mabey 20-25 minutes to make a byo game
