    The reverse bow angle and the seakeeper make this boat very stable, she cuts a wave and does not crash on the waves like gliding boats.
    And it's a real man's boat, not an expensive toy, you feel absolutely safe on it like a tank.
    It's my dream ship😉
    Thanks for review sir.

    Great looking boat, but that black interior is oppressive IMHO. The designers at Bering must have cringed while doing it. Thanks for the video!

    Great video. Sorry, where are those engines John Deere or Cummings? I hope the latter because Cummings are excellent.

    • @YachtBuoy
      @YachtBuoy  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This boat is fitted with twin John Deere engines but further B70’s will be fitted with Cummins engines

      @@YachtBuoy This is just another sign that Bering (the owner) has a continuous improvement mentality. He's already decided to upgrade to Cummings.

    Man, this is like a Sylvester Stallone yacht, just a bit over-the-top for what any seriously rich guy would actually be using it for. It's like a luxury Humvee. Throwing no shade, giant yachts are a realm we can neither criticize nor really understand. It's like talking about a T Rex.

    Bottom line...I win the lottery I get a Bering 145.....no questions asked.

    I would put the crew in the dual bunk stateroom, convert the stern crew quarters to dinghy/jetski storage, and get rid of the crane above to free up deck space. Have they tried this layout?

    That glossy black is not my thing. Even worse then all that wood interior. Would change everything to nearly white.

    Wow, I didn’t realize you were 6’4”. In 07 when I made a brief go at it, I believe on quite a few ships and positions at that time at least, anything over 6’ depending on job to 6’4” waiver acceptable. I think it’s 6’8” now, but that may be for desk jobs non ship related 🤷. Me I’m built for a ship or Rugby hooker

    • @YachtBuoy
      @YachtBuoy  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I would hate to be 6’8” and have to sleep in a pussers bunk 😂 that would be hardcore

      @@YachtBuoy Haha I wouldn’t hate being even 6ft. Lol, I’m 5’10” on a good day with boots. 🤣 that’s why I was good scrum half. Aka, fantastic running through bulkheads, and people.

    Sorry but that interior is horrendous and a pain to keep clean. Plus it will be hot as hell. Whoever bought this, and I can tell you what the owner looks like without ever seeing them, that they will be going through crew a lot.

    All Bering 70’s after this one will be 2 ft longer and 3ft wider according to another video on TH-cam that has Alexei the founder doing a tour of this same yacht. I.M.O. this is a perfect family yacht something that two can handle while keeping you safe.

    Bering is a great looking yacht but I always keep going back to Lynx Yachts. Personal preference on the Lynx Crossover 27. There are trade offs but it is how they will be used. Preference number one is Caterpillar marine engines. Number two is carrying my own transportation to visit my port of call.

    Great video. The Bering 70 is a wonderful vessel. Now that they have widened the beam it is a much more appealing and perhaps even more stable. I love the way this owner designed the interior. It is a little bit flashy but not overwhelming. Do you happen to know the price of this particular vessel?

    • @YachtBuoy
      @YachtBuoy  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Glad you liked the video and thanks for watching 🙌 re price, I’m not 100% sure mainly because of the customisation that came with this vessel.

    • @Godknowsitstrue

      I would hazard a guess of between £2.5 - 3.2 million. If you ping me over a message on Instagram, I can put you in contact with my contact at Bering Yachts. Search for 'Yacht Buoy' on instagram or send me an email: john@yacht-buoy.com
