ABOUT THE VOICE
The four-time Emmy Award-winning musical competition series "The Voice" returns as Queen of Country Reba McEntire claims her red chair alongside last season's champ, Niall Horan, and returning superstar coaches John Legend and Gwen Stefani as they vie to discover and coach the next singing phenomenon.
The show's innovative format features five stages of competition: Blind Auditions, Battle Rounds, Knockouts, Playoffs and Live Performance Shows.
This season, the block returns to the Blind Auditions, and during Battles, each coach will have two steals to use. The Three-Way Knockouts are also back. This time, however, artists will select their own songs to perform.
Once the Live Performance Shows begin, the top artists will compete against each other weekly during a live broadcast. This time, the television audience will vote to save their favorite artists. In the end, one artist will be named "The Voice" and receive the grand prize of a recording contract.

the ones who are good make the first cut, and usually make the final cut, even though they don’t win. this one was just okay. you really can’t deny the straining from before 1:20 to pretty much the whole rest-of-song

My shoe would have caught the fly during this performance!!! The agility it takes to sing this song is another level and Ms Monet executed it masterfully!!! She was running up and down those scales, and that Whistle!!!!

Ms. Monet has to be my favorite contestant this season and I can hear Wendy Moten in her. She's a vocal powerhouse for sure and that was a perfect song choice for her. I am loving her song choices so far honestly. She embodied that and was flawless and perfection all the way through. I was screaming and hollering! Shocked she didn't move forward. Blake would have used his save on her and wanted her in the finale. Heck even Kelly would have wanted her in the finale. She belongs in the competition and belongs in the finale. I don't care what song she picks. I only care that she's going to slay whatever song she picks. She can sing the phonebook. I'd love to hear her take on Proud Mary.

My jaw drops when she makes that super head voice. Insane! She reminds me of Kimberly Joy, Kayla and Mckenzie. Not to mention Mckenzie and Kimberly Joy sing this too.

There's so much lovely husk and smoke in her voice, and I wish she'd play to that with her song choices. This song is for a higher, brighter voice that blossoms on those high notes.

Niall would've if he didn't already steal Mara (both deserved to move forward). But Reba wasted her Save on Tom (arguably the weaker group of artists among her pairings), and John has artists similar to her genre (though definitely not at the same caliber, other than Kaylee).

Ms. Monet delivered such an INCREDIBLY POWERFUL AND MASTERFUL PERFORMANCE!!! Why did Reba pair her against Ruby!? Those were the 2 that deserved a win and a Save, not Tom (who is fantastic, but nowhere near their caliber of artistry imo). I knew I was going to be upset regardless of who lost.
