So I can relate to why it will be hard for her to become famous. I sound like Toni, Whitney, Kelly price, etc. It is even hard for myself. If you remind the judges of someone it's hard for you to become a star. Truth hurts but it's reality. Her best bet is to do it on her own

Truthfully, she can get into a better situation not being the winner. When you win, your likeness, image, music, etc isn’t yours. The fact she made a name for herself, gained a fan base, being independent is better. She would keep all her masters, money, etc. So many avenues to put out and showcase your artistry these days.

When vocalists such as Kelly and Jennifer don’t critique you on a show where they ALWAYS critique even their brightest acts, it says something about your level of talent. MaKenzie is still one of, if not the best vocalist to ever touch ANY franchise of The Voice. And the fact that even 3 years later there are still people nitpicking - people who haven’t received a grammy or an EGOT btw - is really nothing short of envy and hatred. This woman is anointed beyond compare

The show is rigged, period. I've heard theories on people calling in and spelling her name wrong so those votes didn't count, but I don't buy that as you're voting for a number not the name. In any case, if the spelling were incorrect, they knew who they meant.

The music industry has turned to shit, it’s about selling sex, and promoting looks that will fill their pockets with millions, but no real music or talent. Just a repeated beat and any cat say words that don’t make sense, or promote sex, drugs, disrespect towards women, emasculating of men, and that crap will be in the top charts. That’s why real talent, and voices like hers and so many voices, that should’ve been recognized, appreciated, and on the top charts are not there anymore. The times when Aretha Franklyn, Jennifer Holiday, Etta James, and so many other beautiful voices of women and men like Luther Vandross, Barry White, that were big and beautiful, and who’s voices gave us those beautiful songs that remind us of those times when music was really music. If you didn’t have a voice, it wasn’t about physical appearance, it was about true talent. Those days need to come back. I grew up listening to old school music, music from the 50’s 60’s 70’s 80’s and so on till today, and there’s a whole world of a difference.

The judges have different preferences when it comes to vocalists, Blake prefer belters, Adam prefer strong vocals, Kelly like vocalists with unique voice, like the other commenter said they probably thought Jennifer 's the best judge for her.

IT WAS so hard to believe that she wasn't a FOUR CHAIR TURN. Crazy talented. I bet those judges were kicking themselves after that 1st performance when they realized how GREAT this woman was in her following performances. I would have turn immediately after the first vocal run she did during her audition. Thank God Jennifer Hudson turned. It was a no brainer. I was shocked that Kelly didn't turn.

They knew she was good and knew only Jhud would have that level of expertise to coach and understand such a voice. Why turn around and have her pick one of them? They did the right thing.

Exactly right ! People get carried away. She is really good, however she seems to be mimicking a mixture of Beyonce, Jennifer H and Whitney etc.. Jennifer is more of a soulful Powerhouse🎤
