ABOUT THE VOICE
The four-time Emmy Award-winning musical competition series "The Voice" returns as Queen of Country Reba McEntire claims her red chair alongside last season's champ, Niall Horan, and returning superstar coaches John Legend and Gwen Stefani as they vie to discover and coach the next singing phenomenon.
The show's innovative format features five stages of competition: Blind Auditions, Battle Rounds, Knockouts, Playoffs and Live Performance Shows.
This season, the block returns to the Blind Auditions, and during Battles, each coach will have two steals to use. The Three-Way Knockouts are also back. This time, however, artists will select their own songs to perform.
Once the Live Performance Shows begin, the top artists will compete against each other weekly during a live broadcast. This time, the television audience will vote to save their favorite artists. In the end, one artist will be named "The Voice" and receive the grand prize of a recording contract.

It sounded like a hot mess to me. Each trying to outsing the other.
Bad song choice for them both 😢
It's not just her thunderous voice, for me the best part was Ms Monet saying 'Cmon mama!' and encouraging CORii to bring out her best. And she was so excited to see her saved. CORii's voice really does cut through the backing track and sit on top of the mix. These are two LEAD singers.
I think the song was a bad choice. I would have loved to hear them sing something else.

Ms Monet forced Corii to morph into another level , they both were incredible and I just loved the energy and power . Seriously one of my favourite duets thus far .

Ms Monet was the clear winner in this battle, hands down. yes, she forced Corii to step her vocals up because of the shared stage and presents of Ms. Monet. Ms Monet you owed that stage like a seasoned professional. That wasn't a battle, Ms.Monet was teaching a masterclass in vocal style and power!

I’m sorry, but it’s all Ms. Monet! CORii definitely showcased her talent, but Ms. Monet ate and left no crumbs. She’s definitely in a competition of her own and SERVED on this performance tonight❗️
What an unfair yet most matched pairing. CORii brought it all on the stage and gave it her all to really make this a battle but Ms Monet is just on another level

MS MONET was amazing, she’s a badass, professional, she SERVED… and also CORII, she was right there showing what she can do, it must felt intimidating by MS MONET professionalism but she was shining too, I love this battle, one of my fav, also what a way to sing this song 🥳 BOTH amazing! First of all: That's a Patti freakin' Labelle song that they just performed, the Godmother of Soul! 👏 So anyone who sing it right is on another level
CORii's high notes are amazing but Ms.Monet vocal and performance gave me more justice to the song.
