Strongly agreed about that Clone Wars plot - I feel like a fair bit of media tries to be too "DnD lore-likes", so to speak? Like everything is the work of some sort of eldritch horror/ancient godlike know-it-all beings and every concept is part of their over-explained plan, yadda yadda...much cooler when they take a vague approach to highlight how mysterious and multifaceted some concepts are, that's kinda what makes me enjoy some of the crazier ideas of Legends.
