Just left Edinburgh in October to watch her walk down the aisle and marry an amazing Scotsman. I am so happy that this beautiful city is now a part of my family. I need you to know how priceless this is for someone like me. I've been trapped in couch prison the last 4 years due to severe damage to my health/heart from long covid. I haven't left my house once since I got sick and I'm going stir crazy. I'll never get to physically go to these places, but you brought me there and got me out of couch prison for 4:22:34. THANK YOU! I have a fan on me and it was like feeling the scottish breeze as we walked! This is channel is gold for those that are home bound. Never stop doing this please. Please do some research on youtube, there are doctors with protocols to help repair long covid damage. Also look into keto and carnivore, your body can really cure and reset from meat ( esp red meat/ beef) and beef fat. Exactly opposite what the medical establishment has told us for 50+years. Look up Dr Ken Berry, Dr Eric Berg, Dr Boz, and others. Praying you can get better!

I have Scottish ancestry and I'm proud of it. My surname of Laird is very rare. I couldn't find my heritage for years then finally someone helped me discover a lot of my ancestry. From my 3rd great-grandfather back we are all Scottish blood from Lanarkshire, Glasgow. I thought I had Irish blood but discovered it's Scottish. Explains my love of unicorns and the color blue.

I love Scotland and I golfed along the North Sea and had a great time. It is just too cold. It is impossible to be outside for more than 30 minutes even with multiple layers of clothing. Scotland is incredibly picturesque and a beautiful place to visit.

So many great memories, even if it was only for a short time: -Impressive ghost story from our few months in a flat in Blair's Brewery, off the Royal Mile. It was a little girl, with long pigtails, a long, white dress, and half her head missing, and everything smelled like hops as she appeared, then abruptly, it was gone. -My son waiting at the castle armory, learning all about swords, while I topped up our phone cards. He grew up to work in film, specifically sourcing historically appropriate weapons! :D -Daily walks in Holyrood Park. Miss that so much. -Saor Patrol playing on Princes' Street! Yes, I bought the CD. It was a while ago, probably bands don't give out CDs any more.. :D -Grabbing the train at Waverly Station to go off on the weekend and explore other places, it was always exciting for us. I could go on and on ... vivid, wonderful memories made there.
