    Conditioning will always be the most important workout, it doesn't matter what handles your have, how good your shot is, or how much power you have to drive to the rim, if you don't even have the energy to do it.

    This workout is perfect! Its exactly what I was looking for.. but I am a bit of a noob. I've never worked out consistently in my life, but I did grow up playing basketball, so because I'm not sure where to start with my exercise routine and regimen, I wanted something along the lines that hoopers would use. My question for anyone reading, (please Hoopsfit) is, can I do this workout in the mornings, everyday for conditioning on top of whatever workout routine I add in later in the day? Like upper body, chest, legs, etc. or would it be too much strain on the body? For example:
    Wake up in the morning and do this everyday...
    and in the evening; do whatever workout routine I have set up; whether legs, upper body, etc.
    please let me know.. I'm looking to start in a few days

      @@beaufeatherston8620 Well it conditions your body and makes u stronger. And some of the exercises he uses with the ball helps ball handling. But for what I'm doing right now to get better in basketball is doing in game speed practice.

    do you have a clue how many times should i do hiit workout every week? because i workout 2x a day, basketball type workout in the morning and upper body workout in the evening

      Hey John! Sounds like you're training to improve your basketball game given the fact that you're doing 2 a day. If that's the case, this would be a great warm up routine to get your muscles ready before your basketball workout. However, if you're training for overall conditioning to get/stay in shape, I recommend doing this workout 3-4x/week along with your weekly workout schedule. Thanks for checking out HoopsFit.       @@jcmangio1477 You're welcome! It's great to hear that your're a hard worker. A necessary characteristic for success. I used to do 2 a days when I was training hard and unfortunately suffered an injury that took me out for 6 months. I learned that resting your body is just as important for muscle recovery and to avoid injuries that can set you back. This can be physically and emotionally draining over time. If you still decide to workout everyday, I recommend being as efficient as possible with your workouts and balance your regimen to avoid overworking an isolated muscle

    Im really bad at the figures I keep dropping the ball and the side planks at the end any tips?

      Figure 8 - Start with wide feet and low squat stance. Bring not only the ball but also your hand all the way through your legs. Start slow and increase speed when you're more comfortable. Side planks - keep your abs tight and breathe throughout the exercise. You'll see improvements with repetition and consistency. Check out workout video #2 and #3 for more advanced drills!

      Im bad at figure 8 I get the ball stuck at the side then the ball drops do I carry the ball by putting my palm under it after I put the ball through my legs?
