I question though is it really worth it? Seem like if you just override the governor by removing the two spring ad a wire for the throttle, and they sreem. Seems like you would have to make other modifications to get it to go any faster, i was able to get my 19 up to 37mph on flat ground with a 36t. I think it would be tough to get it to go much faster with the 79cc Lifan.
No, these motors are tiny. The valves are about as big as a nickel. The rockers are significantly smaller than a predator 212. You'd have a better chance with mods on the 79cc predator but at that point just get a 212 stock engine and run that
@@engineunknown2 what I'm going to do is use a go power sports 98cc that's basically a bored and stroked 79cc predator and build it to 7-8 hp with some RPM and have the weight savings... 212 fits 79-98 cc same valve cover non hemi
The easiest way for our little lifan is to leave the throttle system alone. Just pop out the gear, make sure you got all the parts and your done. It did give me ideas for my baby predators though 👍 Thanks for sharing! I should start sharing as well. 😂
Can u explain what u mean. I've been wondering if I can remove the plastic gear inside and shorten that arm inside by trimming it so indont have to reroute the throttle cable on the outside.
Thank you so much!!
You're welcome
Very helpful! 👍

No it's not worth it but I was just experimenting
When u say u got it to 32t are u referring to the rear tire that sprocket looking ring
@@danielRamero rear sprocket
Im wondering if the 1.2 ratio rockers for 212 with fit the lifan ?

I checked that they won't fit
