- The AIC is a DOTARS recognised test facility for ADR31 (Passenger Vehicle Brake), ADR35 (Commercial Vehicle Brake) and ADR88 (Electronic Stability Control) testing. State-of-the-art equipment has been procured for these purposes, including a Torus-S60 steering robot by Anthony Best Dynamics and a Racelogic V-box unit. This equipment allows full sign-off testing to the ADR requirements, and also can be used for product development, research, and simulation.
Component level testing is soon to be available, with a range of equipment suitable for measuring spring rates, shock absorber damping curves, static and dynamic structural testing. We will work with your requirements and can assist with the design and manufacture of custom jigs and fixtures.

With almost 3 k kg. and high clearance vehicle; this performance is phenomenal, regardless to the driver's skills and other measures. Hopefully LC300 comes superior to the existing generation and more affordable. Always a leader in Quality & reliability SUV.

KDSS is the best suspension system toyota ever developed. consider both road stability and offroad capability. It is "mechanic" so no electric system involved. Very reliable! I used to have 98 LC100, and that one don't have KDSS, also with no help of electric control at all. I was driving on the high way around 60 miles per hour, a RAV4 on my right lane has a kayak on top of his roof rack, and some how it fell just in front of me. I was unconscious minded to turn left and realized the car was about to roll over, then I corrected the steel wheel to right. Basically make a sudden lane change. Luckily there is no car on my left. Also the car is surprisingly stable consider the height of gravity and size. for 98 land cruiser, even the diff is open diff, except ABS, everything is manual and basic. It can also handle pretty well. Well done Toyota. After 4 years of ownership, I upgraded to a LC200, I haven't had any emergency like that but once it appears, the car is ready. Hoping they bring back LC300 to North America some day.

The length of the cone in the moose test is nearly the length of the car but here you can observe it 4 to 5 times the length . If it moose test I don’t think will can exceed 55km/hr I’m talking as owner of Landcruiser 200

Watched the video and thought "Hey, that's not bad for a 200 series......" Then I watched it again and realised this was lane change dynamic testing for a very big suspension upgrade to take the car over 4,000kg gross vehicle mass and thought "Bloody hell, that really IS impressive given the weight the car has been loaded to!"
Well done to AIC for doing the testing but also to whoever designed this GVM upgrade kit!
You are right, it is impressive given the total mass. Australian GVM upgrade companies do a fantastic job with their design and development to produce leading kits for consumers.

i did this manuever in a 2011 lc200. i was in the fast lane and suddenly the car infront of the car that i was behind decided to stop. This was a highway but i saw ahead of him " Thanks to the ride height" and I reacted before him by checking my side swing in the lane and then having to swing once more to the fast lane as it was clear and the car in front was going UNDER the minimum speed limit.. for his lane (idiot) . I did this at 110 kms. The LC takes time to stop. It weighs 3 tons so it was impressive how well the truck handled.
I suppose this has taken several trials (×99...) to reach this perfection😃

100 km/h ...thats no joke...remarkable performance from a mamoth of a car....unbeleivable stablity at such high speed....many cars dont even pass moose test at 70 km/h....this one killed it at 100kmph

This is NOT the Moose test, but VSB14 LT2 test. The middle section of the Moose test is exactly 11 meters, here is 25 meters.
