love this video and this channel. i’ve listened to this album the next day it came out, also since you mentioned midwest emo i want to recommend “just got back from the discomfort” by the brave little abacus, i’m not really sure if it’s actually midwest emo but you should definitely check it out
Canadian band :) Saw them on their first UK tour with Sigur Ros - cataclysmic a few times since and always an experience. New album's fantastic, worth paying attention to anything on the Constellation Records/label. Is that the UK Guardian dad's calling poop? 🤣 Maybe try The Byline Times, it's got a very obvious bias, but you know - at least it's obvious where their politics lie. Interesting comparison to metal, I think it kinda takes the best elements - the heaviness, minus the cheese and posturing. They're super-intense live without "showmanship" - I hope dad goes to see them.
I've seen this come up on my Spotify, I'll give it a listen, and then watch this video. It's great to see another video from this channel!
yess, you should do Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas To Heaven. One of the best albums off all time
Great reaction!! Would love to see you and your dad react to more gybe! Lift Yr. Skinny Fists and F# reaction would be cool asf :]
