First time i've heard this was a few months before it was released as a live version (had it as "Watch later") I was papering the walls of the living room in my apartment, took me solid 2 years due to financial and psychological problems. It was the low point and the loneliest moment of my life, but just as i finished the last row on the wall the break at 2:06 hit me I'll never forget that moment, it was something that can't be forced... the room was filled with magic and I ... for the first time in probably a decade, felt like i've accomplished something. Nothing but the beauty and some tears of relieve. Even though i've lost all that was (and is still) making up my world, atleast once i have done something all by myself Thank you GY!BE for this very special moment and feeling in my life. See you in Munich, i know the hundreds of Kilometers in a Bus will be worth it.
What an incredibly moving comment. I hope you’re doing better, and may GY!BE continue to unite us all and highlight the best in all of us. _Godspeed You!_
This tune makes my heart fill with Joy.......especially after a rubbish year what with losing my dad to that shit called cancer.....thankyou Godspeed. x
I lost my mother to cancer just over a month ago, and around 5 months after my first comment here. Whatever we need to do to get through it, we do it. Glad art like this exists to make the ride smoother. Stay safe everyone.
I was born in the 80's. I was a huge 90s Hip hop/Rap fan. I've gone through nu metal, alternative, grunge. I eventually became big into progressive metal in the 2000's. Now, I listen to many forms of metal, mostly atmospheric black metal. I listen to a lot of ambient stuff. Blah blah.. point is, I looove searching for music in all nooks and crannys, high and low. And this right here, is my favorite piece of music. The roller-coaster of emotions from part 1 - 3. Man!, It gets me every time. It always brings forth the things that are most important to me, in my life, and shrinks all the other things that I shouldn't pay any mind too.
Wow! Coming back to this after several years is actually blowing my mind! I didn't care for the album much when it came out but damn, this is nuts. Maybe not the heights of lifty r skinny fists but damn its so much fun
I listened to this a lot with my last boss, an abusive and cruel monster. I now have a new boss, a manipulative and cruel monster. This one might be therapy for me, I dunno.
Origin. It must come from somewhere. The sacrifices the bear/black jaguar would perform is to basically never surround yourself with his followers. They adorn You with best clothes and jewelry. On the third day they sacrifice you. Shower you with praise then lamb to the slaughter.
Judge me based on the music i put on. Not on the voices of unknown sources. They don't speak for me. That's why i have a voice and so do you. Use it. Start a conversation. I don't judge on any hearsay. Just what you actually have told me.
With the current situation in Ukraine, this music piece makes utmost sense. Sometimes I believe GY!BE are time travellers who cosmic through the future and brought us soundtrack of what was forthcoming.

Yes! Thank you! I couldn't figure out what song it was reminding me of. The only thing I could come up with is "don't let them fall over me" but its "pour" not fall so my lyric searching was coming up empty. It was desperation that sent me to youtube comments in the hope someone else heard the same thing. Would have driven me crazy.
@@bobdole8830 you are a dictator so be happy I let you live. As I expect you wouldn't afford me that same opportunity. As I'm am both a landlord and a boss.
This is practicably a note for note rip-off of “Wings” the theme from Brokeback Mountain; Gustavo Santaolalla who wrote this song should sue these no-talent a=holes!!?
I scratched my head for weeks, thinking: hum this sounds like Gustavo Santaolalla somehow! You're right is very close but wouldn't call it an exact copy. Maybe just same notes progression in the 1st part? I truly love both songs though!
That 5-note falling sequence part of the main riff is similar, but the picking of the notes is different and I don't think the key matches. It also doesn't have the distinct, clear 3-note rising sequence before it each time. It's close, but it's not exactly the world's most complicated riff is it? These things happen. It is probably just a case of parallel thinking. It happens.
Hearing this live gave me an out of body experience
same, heard it last night and i've still yet to recover
(i don't really want to, anyway)
i went crazy hearing it live, guys,,,
The violin ripped my soul apart.
Same, never gonna forget it. There's not a lot of music out there that can just make you burst into happy tears but fuckin A did this ever do it.
