7:00 the real use of that storage is actually that it would make fast travel actually viable because even if you have to drop everything before you travel if you just put the items in the storage containers, you can just keep fast traveling and transferring back-and-forth transferring things between those two boxes, effectively fast traveling to the other side of the map with all your gear, and without the need of a tech transporter
It looks like it only has 2 slots though
on the one map that doesnt have flyers they have a paid dlc for essentially a craftable quetz with platform saddle bruh
you can use the items in any map

You know i hear the words pay to win thrown around so much lately and while i agree that a player with equal skill versus another may have an a slight advantage or more options against a player without i still firmly believe that players with sufficient skill and experiance would be able to overcome those advantages
For the goo gun you use the melee button with it out to harvest the body and make its ammo
Remember, can't build down in the Rock drake trench, so I doubt the item box would work for eggs in the trench. Unless they changed that.
Unless you can put one on a blimp and have the blimp stationed above where you're collecting eggs

@teach, if you go into the menu wheel and click show connected, it shows a clock over every thing that is being sped up...looks like smithy all the way up to Tek rep

Quick tip: if you play single player with fly and god command, you can unlock the map and then go to pve or pvp and the map will also be unlocked.

@@yournan6199 Basically when you go in first time the map is undiscovered and you can’t see the whole thing. If you do what I said you can see the whole map when you go into pve/pvp.

WARNING fertile Lake surface entrance from the point you get affected by the poison spawns f@cking nameless 😮😮😮😮 can't believe how awesome this map looks the ravages are awesome big thumbs up for base game your old view of the map though is gonna have to change base spots etc all gonna need to be amended due to terrain changes 😊
How's your Ark addiction going Teach? I put in 10k ish hours before I snapped out of mine. They did a great job making this game play into your primal urges. They based slot machines off of hunter gatherer urges and Ark off of slot machine principles and hunter gatherer principles. Pretty smart and super addicting. I missed a whole lot of family time and what not when I played Ark.

I usually enjoy watching your videos but I was a bit disappointed with this one. It would be better to test all the items thoroughly and publish the video later than to make a half-hearted video like this 🫣

Playing on PS5 and the engrams for the Steampunk items aren't showing up. I re-watched the video to see if I was missing some trick, but I'm not seeing anything. All of the Western stuff is there but not the Steampunk. I put in a notice to Wildcard, but who knows if they'll respond. Just curious if anyone else is having this issue and if they figured out how to get around it. I was really looking forward to the Steampunk stuff and adding this issue to the delay in launching has really killed by enthusiasm for Aberration.
single player issue, happens on Xbox too. gotta be on a server(non dedicated doesn't work either)

Playing on console here, trying to use the DNA scanner but nothing happens when I press A on Gene Trait Options (I just jump) and when I press B to exit the wheel, nothing happens so I have to click the pause button to stop using the tool.
My tribemate is having the same issue. Probably a bug then 😅

I’m curious what creatures can be transferred to this map. I noticed there were pyromanes. Does that mean I can transfer them over from center?

@@Manguatz1703 Pay to win is fact of having a advantage over some one by swiping that juicy juicy card paying money for it, A light pet that does more then all the others as a infinite use grapple, a way to fly even slow on a no fly map, ways to augment creatures, and a ton more. So yes pay to win in every way the only time something is not a advantage is when its just appearances.

Ark players being shocked that live service games need money flow to stay up is never not amusing. Been there with ase. Now we get all original dlc maps free.....with bonus content to make up for getting the maps for free....to keep servers up and pay their employees. Do I agree with making it impossible to give non dlc owners stuff from the dlc so they can enjoy it? No. Do I understand they gotta have something in return for this stuff? Yes.
I really hope this steampunk stuff isn't only available to people who have Bobs tales. New turrets and advantages for people who pay extra sounds super crappy

Oh so it *finally* came out, did it? Last thing I checked before logging on to ASE instead was a map that was promised to be released five hours ago with no status update.
All this bob tall tales stuff is lame and they made abb look like turd. My whole server is moving back to ASE at this point.
1800 on zep seems low for now slow it goes should be able to move more stuff
My guess is for balancing reasons.. seeing as there are no flyers on aberration.
It opens up ALOT of new options for that map
1800 is still significantly more then an average max level Quetzel post perfect tame bonus levels. And it's on a map that's supposed to be entirely flyer free
