That's very true. Whenever I see his new videos, I quickly start listening to them more because of his smooth and fluent way of talking! Don't get me wrong, he also talks logic, unlike those other so-called gurus who simply talk shit most of the time!
Initially me and few of my friends begun learning forex with the main motivation to make money few years ago. After a while just me developed a passion for the actual trading and my performance. They were still just thinking about the profits. I dedicated probably 10x more time and effort than they did. All of them gave up. I didn't. And God knows how many times I was upset about my mistakes and failures. Now I am a live portfolio manager for a prop firm. This is the most challenging and most rewarding thing I have ever experienced. it also changed me as a person for the better.

forex trading is hard guys, because brokers have all the edges... they know your positions... they know where is a cluster of client order to blow their accounts... they even to not put your trades to live market, because they know you will loose... and they use your money to bet against you with huge leverage... they are moving prices against retailers.. it's simple as that... they may let people win for short amount of time... but then they will make so huge moves... that invalidates any technicals and will make you broke
best advices that made a brakethrough?
1) Trade less, trade better!
2) There are days when theres no entries. Just let it go. Even if anyone else shows a big winner with their strategy. is it YOUR edge? No. Ignore it.
3) Professional traders enter too early and often close the trades too quick, but still make money. Only new traders are obsessed with the perfect execution.

In my first year of trading I only traded Gold and blew my account everytime....than I shifted my Focus on currency pairs in things are working a bit well now..

Been at it now for 2 years! Trading is so much harder than I thought it would be. I mean, every trade you take has a 50/50 chance of being a winner. 😂
Biggest challenge for me has been patience and discipline. Don’t force a trade, be patient till the set up is there and stick to your strategy.
I am passionate about it and it takes a lot of work and dedication, but I love following the markets.

Man I hope you're right! We put a lot of effort into this one.
But let's be honest - What came first? The chicken or the egg. People being tricked or people taking advantage of traders. We shouldn't blame just one side of the story. There are thousands of greedy, low capital people with the main character syndrome. Making a big story out of their $500. The entire industry is based on losing traders. From brokers to educators. Some more real, some less real. Some people are telling the story that all traders are rich - and some people tell the story that all "wealthy" people drive a Toyota and don't even show off. The one thing that probably comes closest to the truth is that nobody is right. Everybody just tries to make CA$H with another bullshit story they know nothing about. Talking from experience with years of conversations with billionaires who come from money and still make the real money. And those principles they do are easily applicable to every retail trader. Just make sure you listen to the right people.

Since I always craved for the idea of making money as a trader, I finally decided to try it out in 2012 and after a long series of failures, I got frustrated and gave up but that thirst for making it in Forex never went away. Now, at age 35, I decided to keep trying because it is the only alternative source of income I find attractive and I know I will make it. This video is the confirmation I needed so thank you very much Nick for showing up on my TH-cam app!

Great vid Nick. Definitely inspiring to know that hard work can pay off. My biggest learning and lesson has been that just because you have a good week or a good month it doesn't mean you've made it. The same is true for the reverse, just because you have a bad week or month doesn't mean you give up. Keep learning and refining your strategy and growing as a trader and eventually we'll get there. My goal is to get funded. There are a few good prop firms some guys in our group are funded with, the 5%'s, true forex funds, and my forex funds seem like they offer good terms from their feedback
2 years? thats too optimistic nick. it took 5years and countless blown accounts, and if you still have passion for it then you would be successfull :)

I dare you to take FTMO or other popular prop firm challenge. Not that you need the funded account but that's personally how i tell if a trader is good or not. So many gurus cant pass the challenge and end up looking like clowns.

Forex is risky, the only way to remove risk is to replace your deposit with profit so that your not trading with any of your own money. That's what I'm in the process of doing. Currently doing between £350-500 a month :)
@@borneotrader8989 Interesting concept. So this "anchor lot" would it be a much higher lot than you'd usually trade with to cover your daily trading? If so what would you do if the price went the opposite direction to your anchor? I've thought of something similar before but can't see how it can be sustainable, would love to hear more about it :)
@@borneotrader8989 Ohhh I see, very interesting! As long as you set the anchor for break even you'd never really worry about drawdown, nice. I might have to backtest this with my own strategy feel it could help a lot... Thanks for explaining!

Like your video! What do you think about these: 1. FX Liquidity does not matter whether it is from closing a long or short position, it can be taken by MM/banker/any trader to open as a long or short position. Is this statement true or false?
2. Because FX is a zero sum game, if the liquidity is worth USD$10.01m it cannot be taken one cent more or less it must be digested exactly with the same amount by the MM/banker/any trader. Is this statement true or false?

Surely not 2-5% a month. I've been in the game for a couple years and that seems very low even to me.
It's very rare to find traders who can share a track record performing on average higher than 5% per month for years in a row. In fact, it's nearly impossible to find anyone doing 10% average months. People claim it, but when it's time to show it on a third party track record, crickets!

Hi Nick… 1st of all i want to thank you for being blunt about forex… i started demo account last year around summer… of course in the beginning the main atraction was the nice lifestyle of youtuber traders😅.. but as i watched vid and participated to free webinars and all i could do, testing one’s strategies and so on, i realized i love this market… i have now a really really small live account (20eur) and trade with 1:30 leverage only because of Eu regulations… and so far i still try to find my place in the market by testing strategies or styles… now a thing to mention ( might someone laugh of me because of it) but i don’t really have 1000$ lying around to wait amd deposit… i think the best i can do for now is like 100$ only… i work only in my family, and this is ok for me now, but i really want to succeed in this business… so far i was up and down with 5% and now equal to where i started😅 but i am 1 and a half month in with real account… i understand that i have to learn this before anything else😅… but as a goal for me it is If i can make 200$ a day then i can quit my job and focus 100% at this… but it is hard for me to understand how big deposit i need to have that? If i can get a 30% profibility? Well eather way i might get some people to laugh with my story😅 and yes this is my truth
