Becoming a good trade takes time and patience. When i first got into trading i was liquidated twice, and lost my entire mortgage deposit. I could have given up, but decided to learn how to trade and put it into practice. 4 years later and i am glad i made that decision.
When did start finding consistency? ..and more honest question is how long would a rough expectation be to find consistency for a new day trader?

Love this channel and this is one of the better videos. The emotional aspect of trading, even though it gets lots of mentions on TH-cam, is still vastly underrated. Profitable strategies can be rendered losing strategies or break even strategies when emotion takes over and stops you from following the strategy.

@@TheSecretMindset price action looks like so complicated. I need time to learn it. I use TDI with 20-50-1-20 settings. If 50 period RSI and MFI above 50% line on the 4 hour chart i am going to long all the dips on the smaller chart or vice versa. I hope it works. I am a indicator guy :D

I’ve been trading for a few yrs and am guilty of all of these common mistakes. Everything in this video is true and an absolute reminder for both new and experienced. If your used to winning then beware of complacency and normality it will break you at some point.

I realized that the right mindset is basically the most important thing while trading. I almost lost all of my trading capital (that I was able to risk) because of emotional decisions mentioned in this video. So I started to care way less about the money cause there was only a small amount left. I traded way less but opened here and there a position. It worked out pretty well. No emotional decision made and sticked to my strategy. My trading capital had raised each week by about ~30%. I got all excited and put more money on my account cause my strategy was quite reliable. Now I’m too emotional again, thinking I can do more cause I have more money again. Risking more which stresses me again. And yet again, I’m losing all the time. I’m doing a step back again and hope I can learn from it this time. Control your mind and stick to your own rules! This is so important

Your timing was perfect my friend point 4!! Friday night I had two entries on the NASDAQ, met my criteria, but what did I do? as soon as it got into the red and candles started wicking all over the place I got nervous and exited. Next morning, I could see those wicking candles did not close too far from my entry point and instead rallied all night and it would have been a days pay with my current risk size. But.. I was relieved in a way as my technical analysis was sound, its just those bloody emotions I need to work on now. Thanks for your honest advice and good examples. I will get there.

I find myself screaming yesss at certain things you say because you don't find this truthful information ANYWHERE.. I barely started trading a year ago and lost A LOT. I barely now starting to feel a little more in control with my trading after I started inventing my own strategies and quit paying for a previous academy I was paying for.. I have skipped so many videos and courses on TH-cam because I felt so much of them leave out the most important information. I came up with my own rules and opinions on trading that I felt NO ONE talks about until I found you. Now I'm just like finally SOMEONE REAL! I also figured I'd find someone like you on TH-cam because there's no big money involved. It blows my mind hearing you say certain things I have the same EXACT opinion about and it seriously gives me more confidence in what I'm already doing therefore I trust everything you say that I didn't know because of it. Great< video and some nice tips! This is a scary time for new investors but the best thing you can do is not to make decisions based on emotions. This could actually be a good time to buy more of your high conviction stocks or crypto on a discount. Wealth is created during bear markets, not bull markets. If your portfolio is really effecting your mental health then delete the app and go for a walk. Let the market do its thing and have a long time horizon. I buy and just trade long term more than ever, I have made over 16` btc from day trading with Mark Maxwell in few weeks this is one of the best medium to backup your assets incase it goes bearish
My growing love for crypto caused me to explore until I came across Mark Maxwell (although I'm trying to avoid sensationalism) he is by far the best. No hype for hype's sake, but great inspiration to trade Crypto.

I am not sure if this is by coincidence that I ended up on this video, but I closed the week with -2.16% on account. I started doing my reviews of all the trades I took with the notes and comments I made trying to replay the trades and see what I could've done better based on what I found to be off with the trades. To my surprise, this video literally gave me the answers to the points I wrote down that needed to be addressed. Not to mention the tweaks in my trading system that has to now happen, with testing of course to validate the changes. My awareness is always pushed further when I watch your videos. I always have to pull my trading notebook close because the one 10 min video would turn into 30mins or more as I take notes and have a conversation with the content to apply it to my situation. This is a great video, and yes, you need to wait out trades sometimes. So I did this once or twice, I was losing money because it went in the opposite direction...I waited it out....still fell, and fell, and fell and fell more. I blew up my account. I was so stubborn, I was determined to stay in because I didn't want it to go in the opposite direction once I sold. I stayed in until my account blew up...and it continued to fall further all day. So the lesson is, YOU NEVER KNOW what will happen even with all the fancy signals and patterns.

I agree... those working will have a much slower pace of learning trading, and gaining experience. Doing this instead of going to traditional university may be wise, as well. Just be patient with yourself, and if you just focus on learning these markets at a young age... you'll be setup for life with a fabulous skill.
Take 2 years to learn these markets, and if that fails.. you can always go back to college at any age. But I'd think if someone dedicated 2 years to learning to trade: they'd be doing great. But that's with being truly focused, and disciplined on learning to trade.
