Respects from an old motor engineer whose just bought a Chysler 300 diesel with a lousy Parking brake. Thanks for the video. I suggest that when you test the parking brake on the hill, put the car in Drive and see how it rolls. If it rolls easily, the parking brakes need to be tightened up.
You’re a life saver! Picking up the part tomorrow. Doing an 2006 to 2010 interior conversion, my 06 has the hand lever to release parking brake, I need to switch to the push on/off foot lever cause the 2010 trim doesn’t have space for the hand lever. Hopefully screws right on 🙏🙏
Hi, I need to replace the p-side cable as it snapped yesterday. It broke right at the connection at the main cable. I have a 2007 Charger. To get the piece that broke out of the main cable union does it require removing it from the car? I noticed in the video you cut that union piece out completely. I dont want to change the main cable but it almost seems impossible to get my large hands up there to pry out that little piece. Any tricks? Thanks
