I tried setting my asa to 300 when my film speed is 200. It underexposed my photos. Ive read online that it should be the other way around. If you shoot film speed 200 then you should set asa to 100.
@@nadelainc790 That's correct. Technically, if you're shooting at 200 ASA, with a properly-working camera, you *should* set the ASA to 200 as well. However, because of the voltage difference in the battery, my camera's meter tended to overexpose by about a stop, so I compensated by setting the ASA to "underexpose" by a stop to get the correct metering. It differs from camera to camera.
@@ARandomOven i thought you were saying that if my film speed is 200 then I should set asa 300-400. Let me know if I misunderstood your video as I only followed what I saw on your video.
@@nadelainc790 Ah no, I was just talking about what I did in my particular setup due to the voltage difference. Ideally, if you want to expose your images at 200 ASA, just set it at 200 ASA.
Hey Arandomoven can you make a Video where you can Show all of your cameras and Tapedecks? Would be cool
Sure! Might give it a shot later this year, maybe as a Christmas special
What scenario do you put 400 asa?
Thanks!
