    Man i remember my old wired M65 from a few years ago, it was probably the most comfortable mouse for me to use... until it started double clicking or not actuating. I'm surprised they released a wireless version as well as updated their switches. Looking forward to your long term review!

    • @nv1573
      @nv1573 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have the wired one and I just switched to the g502 plus. There was zero grip on the m65 wired, even with no weights it just fell out of my hand.
      2nd issue was that the switches didn´t actuate after a month or 2... pretty annoying.

      I have the new G502 X Wireless and I can't decide which one I like the most. Review of the G502x and a long term for this mouse is on the horizon!

      Exactly the same for me, just ordered the M65 Ultra wired, hope it feels as solid as my old M65 elite but without the double clicking annoyance.

    I didn’t know the double clicking thing was a problem with Corsair mice. I just thought mine was naturally at the end of its 8 year lifespan. I love the feel of the m65, this seems like a good refresh, hopefully the new buttons last even longer

      sounds like you got extremely lucky, i had 3 different corsair mice, 2 m65s and 1 glaive and all came with issues with either double click or mouse wheel issues. this was before i moved to roccat that have the same mouse wheel failing issues. will definitely look to move to the ultra as it looks promising.

      this is the first m65 that uses optical clicks, which can't double click cause there is no mechanical wear down.

    The wired version was my first gaming mouse back in 2016.
    I can't believe they're still making and updating it since the construction is so outdated.
    I also can't believe they kept the cheap matte coating. These kinds of coatings always end up becoming sticky in my experience.

      Hmmm... i actually liked the coating on my M65 Elite, for me it isnt sticky at all and it held up PERFECT after 2 years of use, cant say the same about my Steelseries mice in the past... The coating of the steelseries starte dpeeling off and was really sticky for my. I'm a mechanic aswell so if my hands sweat it is hard on the mouse, with the M65 hadnt got any problems tho!

      Mine was a Sharkoon from 2014 or something like that. After that it was the Glorious Model O- (it broke. I'm still btthurt and I tend to avoid wireless hole-y mices. They seem to be like cheaply produced high price trash.). Nowadays if I pay more, I want more buttons. That's all. Since I already have a TKL keyboard, I might as well have a mice with additional buttons as an extension to my keyboard. Same as smartwatches are essentially just an extension to your smartphone

    • @slob5041
      @slob5041 ปีที่แล้ว

      The coating on the ultra is really nice compared to the pro. Just got mine recently. I do agree it's a tad bulky though, I appreciate the aluminum form factor but it's definitely not a work of art compared to even their more recent mice or logitech's

    I loved my first M65, it lost its middle click due to the wheel axle braking, but I've fixed it and it's going strong. My only gripe with it is that it's super heavy. I now main the VMSE.

    My previous gen M65 is more than 5 years old now and the left click has worn down so now I have to click harder than before.
    Actually repairable by replacing the switches inside, but I'm too lazy for soldering lol. Might repurpose it for another machine.

    hello do you use it still? if so, then are there any problems with it? because i once had a razer mouse and after a while there was an issue, every time i lifted my mouse the cursor jumped across the screen, so i bought a second razer mouse and there was the same issue again. thats why i never buy a razer mouse again.
    so to sum it all up, are there any issues like that?

      the old razer mice used laser instead of optical sensors, which were notorious for the sensor jumping. the current gen razer offerings are top notch even using an exclusive sensor only razer has access to for a while.

    Does the wheel support infinite scrolling?

  • @The.JZA.
    @The.JZA. 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    I bought this mouse a while back and I LOVED it. That is, apart from all the issues I had with it. The tilt controls were completely unreliable, I did occasionally get double clicks, sometimes it wouldnt connect to the dongle and then after a while it would just never connect to the dongle so I had to use it wired and eventually I returned it for a refund. I bought the Logitech G502X Plus to replace it and honestly, it feels like such a downgrade. The G502X is so flimsy and plasticy. The scroll wheel feels HORRIBLE like a cheap $5 mouse and when you use the centre/middle click it also does the left click on the scroll wheel because it's so flimsy. If you focus you can do a middle click without hitting the left click but when you are in the heat of battle it basically 100% will hit the middle and left click at the same time so I had to just not assign that button to anything. The buttons are really well placed though and the ergonomics are good but the flimsy feeling of the mouse tanks my rating. I would give the G502X 9/10 for ergo/buttons and 2/10 for construction quality whereas I would give the M65 7.5/10 for ergo/buttons and 9/10 for construction quality. I am thinking about selling the G502X and getting the M65 again but I am worried about getting another lemon.

    just bought this and will return it after 30minutes because its by far the worst experience ive had in my entire life. 1) the packaging is an insult to any customer. i really have no words how bad this "oh we make some tricky stuff because we like origami and want to be cool and want so save 1mm of packaging materials and dont care to drive our customers crazy". 2) for christs sake can not save any keyboard button to sniper button although i save it in software AND device. it just does not register as the saved button. 3) software is 3.2GB of size!!! but not performing well at all, stutters all the time and seemingly too complex for my i9.

      The only thing I encountered with this mouse which I don't believe at this price should happen, but as long it does not become faulty its not such of a big of deal it's that whenever I apply heavier pressure than usual on the left click it does make a strange sound like it may crack, but it seems to be fine. No double clicking so far. Together with a good pad it boosts my aim at least 15-30% more than with my older mice. It was more like a test cause I'm not a pro player, I kinda stopped playing now but I had a one month session with this mouse and I can say it is worth the money.
