I'm actually surprised it still had rims on when you guys got there. That area has gone too soft in recent years :) 20 years ago this thing would be stripped and set on fire if you left it overnight.

A game cam would get people like that 2 felonys. 1 for theft and another for arson. Probably get 5 years in prison. Stupid idea !!

@@123-olmngresx the game cam would've been stolen as well :) This area used to be a true "do whatever you want" place and state troopers rarely showed up or cared. It has certainly changed for the better since they outlawed shooting there and I believe troopers occasionally patrol there.

Way to Hang, and is good to see such , compassion and tolerance of a first timer….lifts and tires look good, but it takes more to get out there without years of experience and skill…many can wheel a stock rig to amazing places, many can ruin a modified rig without the where with ALL of both skill and build🤷‍♂️ Goal for the New Year…get out there with an Experienced Nut like Nutty, no body damage and be there to hang until all make it back👊🇺🇸👊

Its a good thing the crossing gets washed out every year in the spring, otherwise it'd be impassable with all the big machines people take out there. Seems to get worse every year.

$300 or whatever for a new coil, totally worth it for the Chevy owner to get their truck back safe from the woods.

I really cannot see how airing down tire/rim package would do anything for traction on that truck, sidewall is king in snow or mud.
Great video to show my kids on what not to do with a truck.

      Great point

Your wrong about sidewall is king. Letting air out gives you a bigger contact patch which gives you better traction!

Probably broke off not only from fully inflated tires but also from how much preload his coils are at as in adjusted to full height too much preload can rip mounts off and crack welds at the shock tower buckets
