When The Cinematic Future was released, I listened to Glow on repeat for a week. And more recently, when Dreams of the Deep was released, I listened to To The Grave on repeat for a week. As a late-comer to the Soulsborne series, and knowing nothing of the original, nor being able to play the remake, this feels less dark and damning than the Dark Souls games - it feels more...valiant and selfless? Like everyone is pressing on, and not just out of greed. It feels more united. Whatever is going on in Demon's Souls, I can't wait to explore the world with my own two eyes and ears. I guess just this song will have to suffice until that day. Instant favorite though.
We're in the same boat. A fan of the Souls series for 4 years now but never had opportunity to test DeS, and still don't have it... But we'll wait together, because we are no more hopeless souls but united ! We'll wait and we'll explore where it all started !

This song perfectly encapsulates the atmosphere of the game, and why it is my favorite of the soulsbourne series. It's hopeful, melancholy,and seriene all in one. It also noble, which fits as the slayer of demons is the only protagonist(as far as we know) to choose to go on their quest. All in all, great song, it has earned a subscribe from me.
I love how hopeful this song is. It feels like a call to action, of faith and hope to strike back against the dark. I never played Demon Souls but this song alone has me interested in the world where I wasn't before
