Slowly suffocating in a hospital room, kept isolated from even your family, unable to see the sky one last time as you die. Damn. What a perfect time to release this song.
Gilbert being locked up had a point, the people dying of "covid" in hospital rooms died for nothing because there wasn't anything to actually stop it, on top of usually dying of other diseases or, usually, being obscenely fat and dying from problems related to obesity. This whole song is just masterfully crafted. Some small details I really wanted to point out:
1:00 is when we hear a woman's voice begin in the background, Gilbert is losing himself, he's becoming more scared.
1:10 the voice stops as he begins to focus his thoughts on who could've caused this
1:12 the voice comes back at the mention of blood, like he's on the grasp of understanding what may be going on
1:22 the voice goes away again and we get a guitar rift, which I think is like the "beastly idiocy" taking over for a moment, he's coughing and the sickness is getting to him
2:45 again as Gilbert gets scared the woman's voice in the background climbs, he focuses his thoughts on someone being at the door and the voice goes away

I haven't listen it, but I already love it.
The thing I noticed in the lyrics "Oh my mind oh my mind thoughts are fleeting all the time,I feel bones begin to splinter as my fever starts to climb" and "Who's to blame who's to blame for the blood that wrought this shame my, now ears have started ringing to a symphony of pain" These lyrics are describing what it's like to turn into a beast and that's sad
If the album is as good as this song my ears are going to explode in joy.
Mmm yes finally! I've been eagerly waiting for this song to upload! Never would expect a song about someone who most people probably have only talked to once in their playthrough. Absolutely love this song, one of the best bloodborne songs you've done so far!
this is literally the anthem of quarantine
4:39 best part
when the world needed him most, he came back once again!
Gilbert is a very minor, yet cool character. It’s amazing you chose him for a song, and it makes sense. We can relate to Gilbert now more than ever. Wise and smart, Avi, very clever. Awesome song too, as always.
I gave the lyrics a closer look, this seems like it's simultaneously about Bloodborne and our current situation with Covid, quarantine, and civil unrest. Such a good song! And someone removed the dislike I saw earlier too. 0 dislikes, hell yeah :D
Dislikes. They have returned. To spread the hatred around the world, to plunge the world in eternal chaos.
In other words, that 1 dislike returned.
This is getting out of hand, now there are 3 of them.
@@szczurnik3334 No, there are 5 now!!
Any dislike are probably filthy fuckin vilebloods(jk all runes r cool
Why does it have to be about covid?
It took me half way to realise not only is it a bloodborne song but also a quarantine song and one I can not only get behind but it is a fantastic one as always. And always happy to hear another Aviators song!
1. Amazing work
2. Hyped for dreams of the deep
Man, the story of Gilbert is one of my favorites, i truely feel for the man, and this song is absolutely great in telling his tale
Well, I know what I'm listening to for the next few days.
was gonna go to bed... but that's gotta wait 7 minutes
When I first started listening to aviators, I thought there's no way I could ever sing along to this
Fast forward to today:*my shower is a concert area*
The bells are so perfect
Is Outside about staying inside because of Covid? 🤕
That bridge is amazing, how do you get even better with every album? Can't wait for it, having 2021 start with an Avi album is the best possible way to forget about 2020
Songs like these do such an impressive job at reminding me of how drastically your style has changed since 2011.
Fantastic work.
I love the subtle details how making his voice deeper at the end of the song to let us know that he finally turned into a beast.
You know, I started into Aviators with Godhunter.... and damn if it didnt spiral out of control from there. Each of their songs hits like a kick in the gut, but out of everything, i think this is one of my favorites
We are born by aviators, made men by aviators, undone by aviators. Our eyes are yet to open
iam simple man, i see a new avi music, i click on it
I always collect your bloodborne and dark souls songs. I have a dedicated playlist just for your songs, in fact. It’s been more than half a decade, and I doubt I’ll ever tire of listening.
When I listen to these songs I don't think about the games and this just gives me chills
Imagine someone in real world named Gilbert, who actually got COVID-19 and is prisoned in his home during quarantine.
Oh man, is it just me or Bloodborne and Real Universe just starting to merge?
Please don't say that, thats litterally the last thing we need lol
What we need is more eyes...
I know a bunch of people have mentioned it, but I realised the parallels between this song and the current climate the other week while listening to it, and it comes to mind every time now. Honestly, I could probably write a whole essay drawing a comparison!
You are a gift that keeps giving. Love your work, take care of yourself, and best wishes.
Aviators truly waited for the perfect opportunity to make a song about Gilbert XD
I've been waiting for a new bloodborne song. Yes!
Man the last time you released a Bloodborne song, I was a sophomore in high school, very pleasantly surprised that a new BB song is out.
Just woke up from a nap to this beautiful piece, well done Avi
Yet another great song to jam to
I’ve enjoyed this thoroughly despite being only half way done with it
A masterpeice. I love your work. Bloodbourne, Five Night's at Freddy's, Dark Souls. I love the wording and depth behind them. I don't know how else to explain but keep doing what you're doing! Thank you
I'm a simple hunter, I see Aviators put up a new Bloodborne song and I immediately smack the like and save and immediately start jamming.
Fantastic job as always, dude!! ♥
I know absolutely nothing about bloodborne but I can't stop listening to this
First fell in love with your content when I heard the song about Gascoigne.
Now I cant stop listening to your music.
2:30 was when I realized this was an analogy for our quarantine.
this is a quarantine mood
I have never been so excited for a notification
Magnificent as always. Keep up the great work
