@@4.0Solutions Walker, could you make a video about the incentives of being fully integrated as a production facility. I work as an intern at a production facility, we work with a DCS system, an MES and SAP, between MES and the DCS there is a Batch software, this functions as some kind of middle-ware for start of each batch. We currently run at 95%+ OEE wich is the result of data collection in OSI-Pi and automation. Though I feel like we can move the baseline up if we would work a fully top down integrated architecture. And the costs and downtime could significantly be reduced if any of the like dozen plc's wich are not connected to the DCS has a breakdown. To come back to my question. Im interested in the incentives in working with OPC-UA SparkPlug-b MQTT pubsub whilst the facility is already running at high efficienties with seemingly closed systems. I'm thinking about more efficient: maintenance, lower (spare part) inventories, better decision making and so on. Could give some examples? :)

I joined your channel yesterday after watching couple of videos, were you have been talking about unified namespace. I must say that you have great vision of learning from the market leaders 😀. Okay so, my question is do you have any example of current system, which offer everything needed to achieve the full stack of Automation. I guess you are working on something like unified namespace and I would love hear more about that something in detail. Second question, what do you think about Siemens Mindsphere. Will it be successful?
Love your videos...maybe a little more censorship in the future? lol This is by far my favorite video on your channel, but can't send this video to management due to the fowl language :(
😅 That's going to be a difficult task... Walker actually blacks out when he does a video... remembers nothing by the end of it. LOL But thank you Damiana!
Dead on. Appreciate your being flat-out direct about C-suite not recognizing cost of NOT integrating/automating.
The biggest cost is the opportunity cost.
This was a superb analogy that you have used here. Brilliant video! ... as usual.
Thanks so much Emile!
I like all the videos Walker but this one is one of the most important
Thanks Paul! We really like this one too... 😅
Great content, love your channel 👌 find the editing a bit disturbing for some reason
Thanks for watching!
I like the new glass board, thanks for this.
Thanks for sharing! Appreciate your feedback!

So nice of you
Always great materials Thanks from Automation Eng. In Italy
You are welcome!
Simple and Sweet explanation why the future businesses and C level exec running them must opt for Fully Integrated Systems. Thanks a ton for sharing.
Thank you!

Welcome to the community Greesh! Glad you are here.
The thumbnail's "it's" is wrong, it should be "its."
Pie Plays thank you for the correction... its all about the details.
So you mean to say it's spelled wrong? 😅
